We always stay bere when.we come to Shanghai! The location is perfect to be in.the middle of the city and the apartment is just what we need for a family of.4. We will come to stay again soon.

I've found a real gem in this modern tower. The hotel occupies floors 15 to 18, and the reception is a 10/10 – the staff are super friendly, they offer coffee, tea, and little pastries, and there's also a very comfortable coworking area. The rooms are like a small studio with a kitchenette: microwave, washing machine, dryer, a full-size fridge, and plenty of closet space. The bed and pillows are extremely comfortable, and the shower… wow! The water pressure is amazing, absolutely wonderful. The door is floor-to-ceiling, so steam from long showers doesn't escape into the rest of the room. The sink area is a bit small, but it's fine for one or two people. Special mention: the magnifying mirror and the Japanese toilet – a real luxury that I really appreciated. We were so comfortable that we ended up extending our stay by 3 more days. The only downside: the metro is about 1 km away, maybe a bit more. But the value for money is so good that what you save on the hotel easily covers a taxi ride. From now on, this will be my go-to place in Shanghai. Highly recommended. I'll definitely be back.

After comparing several hotels, I finally settled on this one and I'm so glad I did! It's in a really convenient location, within walking distance to all the shopping areas, so no need for endless taxi rides. The room looked clean and fresh, and both the bathroom and bedding were spotless, not a single odd smell. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – making it incredibly comfortable to lie down after a day of exploring. The soundproofing was good too, I slept right through till morning. The front desk staff were efficient, and patiently helped me with directions. Even the cleaning staff would greet me when we crossed paths. There are plenty of restaurants nearby too. All in all, this place didn't disappoint and was a great value for my trip.

Facilities: The hotel feels a bit old, and the dryer wasn't very effective. Even though it's a Miele, it didn't seem as good as some domestic brands. You can tell the apartment has been around for a while, but the location is unbeatable. The pool and gym are also excellent. The elevator goes directly to IFC and the subway, making it super convenient to get anywhere. All in all, even an old Ferrari is still a Ferrari. Cons: The breakfast was genuinely mediocre. It's better to eat out or order delivery. The selection was limited, and the taste wasn't great. They really need to improve it. 178 isn't cheap, and honestly, the free breakfast I had at a bathhouse was better.

When I initially reserved a room at this hotel apartment, I planned to stay just one day before relocating to another serviced apartment. Yet, the exceptional comfort, pristine cleanliness, and comprehensive modern amenities persuaded me to extend my stay to a full two weeks. Upon arrival, I encountered a hiccup that nearly drove me to seek accommodations elsewhere, but the issue was swiftly and adeptly handled by a courteous gentleman at the front desk, likely the manager. His prompt resolution and eagerness to address my concerns not only resolved the immediate issue but also instilled a deep sense of trust and satisfaction with my stay. The hotel itself is located in a quiet area, a rarity in this country's largest and busiest city. Despite its peaceful setting, it is conveniently close to Metro Line 11, ensuring easy access to the city’s vibrant heart. The option to open the windows in my room was a breath of fresh air—literally. It allowed me to enjoy the fresh breeze without leaving the comfort of my well-appointed room. Speaking of the room, it was a perfect blend of luxury and practicality. The cleanliness was up to the high standard, and it felt like the facility was brand new. The room was equipped with a small kitchen area, complete with a stove, rice cooker, refrigerator, and even a washer. Although there was no dryer in the room, a quick trip to the second floor opened up options not only to dry clothes but also to access private dining/meeting rooms and a well-equipped gym. Every night was a peaceful retreat. The bed was incredibly comfortable, rivaling the peace of my own home. The tranquil environment contributed to undisturbed nights, ensuring restful sleep and rejuvenated mornings. The housekeeping staff, particularly two young men, were notably diligent and affable, keeping my room clean and well-supplied. The front desk staff were equally helpful, always ready to assist with any request. Assistance was dispatched via a charming, albeit slower, robot—no tipping required. This hotel apartment not only met but exceeded my expectations, making it a top recommendation for anyone seeking a 'home away from home.' For those considering a longer stay, here's a tip: contact the hotel directly to speak with a salesperson. You might secure an excellent long-term rate, potentially including breakfast.

Loved the location and the beautiful room. It was a very big room and the loft is perfect if you stay a little longer. The entrance was a bit confusing as there are two base hotels in the same building, but after that was clear it was very easy to get around. There is some construction in the bulding but we heard very little of it and nothing at night, so it didn't impact our stay in the slightest. I can recommend this hotel and would book it again.

This place is right at 427 Fuyou Road, directly outside the Line 10 metro exit, literally just 10 meters away – super convenient! It's an economy room, and I even booked an extra one. It's a 15-minute walk to The Bund, and they offer free luggage storage. The room was clean and tidy, and the value for money is excellent.

Convenient location with metro train direct entrance around the corner or steps away via a popular food court with many yummy choices. Nice apartment layout. Clean and modern. The split level loft has stairs that may be challenging for ppl with knee problems or very overweight. Attentive and helpful staffs but not intrusive. My floor is quiet. I slept soundly every night. The bed is firm in the right way, super comfortable. There is a fully functioning kitchen with small yet proper refrigerator, conduction stovetop, pots and pan. The shower is strong and hot. I enjoyed my stay so much that I extended it from 3 to 6 nights. I will stay at Modena if I visit Shanghai again.

For solo travellers like me, I suggest you book this hotel. The staff are very friendly and will always attend to your needs, plus the area feels extra safe with them around. The best part is that most of them can converse in English. Going to book this hotel again for my next trip to Shanghai.

Amazing hotel. We travelled from the UK and the value for what you get is insane compared to what we get in the UK. Each in our group of 3 stayed in our own tatami toom. It was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed to make our 4 day stay in Shanghai comfortable and leave us refreshed. Special shout out to Mi and yuan and ke,and her team.
