This hotel is absolutely perfect, truly my forever stay in Dalian.
When you request a non-smoking room, it really means zero cigarette smell, which is rare and so appreciated. The room was spotlessly clean and felt fresh and comfortable from the moment we entered.
The view is breathtaking, spectacular, and mesmerizing , you can see Venice Water City and the ocean at the same time. Watching both sunrise and sunset from the room was unforgettable.
The whole building smells good and feels luxurious and elegant. The woman who came to help us was incredibly kind, welcoming, and spoke excellent English, which made everything so easy.
The room is fully equipped with everything you need: toiletries, slippers, clothes hangers, washing machine, fridge ….literally like an apartment. The bed is super comfortable and perfectly clean.
This is my second stay here, and it will definitely be my forever choice whenever I come to Dalian. Highly recommended! 💙

The front desk staff were really nice — very friendly and polite. The room was very big and spacious. Not only was there a washing machine, but also a large refrigerator.
Both of us were very satisfied with our stay.
As for breakfast, it was quite varied, with both Western and Chinese options, and we were able to eat very well.
Most importantly, since we arrived early, they allowed us to check in early, which was really great.

Ocean loft is an apartment. Not a hotel. The location is perfect for tourist.and the view from the window is beautiful. But i would say the cleanliness isnt good. The toilet smells. And there are crumbs of biscuit on the floor. But overall its okay. Because of the location i would give it 5/10.

Such an amazing place. Near to metro station and venice city. Opposite the establishment are a lot of restaurants and street food plus our favourite icecream shop. We arrived really early and the got our room ready by 9:00 in the morning instead of thr normal check in time. Big room, amazing views plus free washing machine and fridge. They guve free drinking water whenever you ask and the wi-fi is fast. Very secure place and friendly reception. You get to scan their wechat account and anything you need is delivered once you ask before 4:00 evening. I must stay me and my friends had an amazing stay and we stored our luggage and went for a stroll in tiwn and everythying was ok.. i higly recommend this place for stays in Dalian

Service was excellent and operator could communicate in both English and Chinese. Service desk was responsive during working hours.
The locally sourced breakfasts were varied and delicious. It introduced me local eateries I wouldn't have known about.
The room was clean and tidy; facilities were as advertised, and housekeeping is confirmed each day via WeChat.
One of the best operators I've come across on this platform!

Hotel not in busy city area but very convenient; Shopping mall & metro station is at next door. Overall Staff is attentive. They are not doing any fancy such room upgrade, big smile greeting or give out some souvenir. But I can feel some staff are very mindful such as women staff at gym, repair staff sent to my room to fix air conditioning problem; 2 thumps up for their truly service mind. Amenities is old style but I like most for baht tub & washing machine in room.

GGuest UserI arrived at approximately 2:00 PM, and although my room was not yet cleaned due to the holiday period, I understood the situation. I checked into Room 232, the 270-degree sea view room, which was the highest available category at the time of booking.
Unfortunately, several issues significantly affected our stay. The condition of the room facilities was disappointing. In the first bathroom, the flush button was loose and partially detached, and there were visible cracks on the wall. In the second bathroom inside the sea-view bedroom, the door stopper was detached and the drainage system did not function properly.
Additionally, the glass panel near the wardrobe had a long crack, which made us uncomfortable using the area as we were concerned about causing further damage. Most importantly, the refrigerator was not functioning. Although a technician came on the first day and informed us that there was no power supply, no proper resolution was provided. On the second day, another technician was arranged, but we had to wait for a long time, which disrupted our travel plans. Eventually, we were informed that the refrigerator could not be used temporarily. As my family stayed for three nights, this meant we were unable to use the refrigerator for the entire stay and had to leave items with the reception, which was very inconvenient and did not reflect the value of the room.
Regarding cleanliness, the first day was satisfactory. However, on the second day, the housekeeping service appeared rushed. There were hair strands left in the room, and the bed was not properly made — the bed cover was simply pulled over without proper arrangement, and the bedding looked untidy and wrinkled. I was quite disappointed with the cleanliness standards.
Furthermore, the booking was made for three guests, yet only two glasses were provided in the room. There was no tea available, only bottled water. Communication via WeChat was also quite slow when requesting assistance.
On a positive note, the room view was beautiful, the location is excellent, and the staff who assisted us before check-in were helpful. The room design and view are truly impressive. However, after check-in, the overall experience did not meet expectations. Additionally, the mirrors in the room had noticeable stains.
I hope this feedback will be taken into consideration for service improvement. Thank you for your attention.

WWdayanjingI came to Dalian alone for the 2026 Dalian Marathon and booked this hotel on Trip.com. I couldn't have been luckier! The marathon's start and finish lines are right downstairs, and my room number even coincidentally matched the last digits of my phone number, which made me really happy. The room was super clean, and all the toiletries were excellent, single-use items 👍👍. Plus, it was a proper sea-view room. I could see the starting arch where I'd begin my race and the Donggang seaside attractions from upstairs. If I ever come back to Dalian, I'll definitely choose this hotel again. The owners are also really great people! 👍👍 The photo below was taken from upstairs.

MM392673****Extremely satisfied with this stay! The room was very spacious, a full 60 square meters, with a living room. It was spotlessly clean, and the bed was very soft. Best of all, it was a sea-view room. The price was fantastic – definitely cheaper during the off-season and great value for money. The owner was also very kind; you meet a lot of good people from the Northeast region. The location is convenient, and the environment is elegant. The front desk service was warm and professional, the room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable, leading to excellent sleep quality. Attention to detail was evident everywhere, making it truly value for money. I will definitely be back!

GGuest UserWe were three adults and five children and booked this eight-person family suite. The two-story suite was spotless. While it didn't have a washing machine, the host was incredibly accommodating. Upon learning of our need, they went out of their way to come over after 10 PM to help us spin-dry our clothes, which we deeply appreciated. The guesthouse's location was incredibly convenient, making it super easy to get around via the subway. Definitely recommend.

1. You can see the Venice water city all day all night from the room, and sunset from your bed (if you can wakes up) and hear the time bell🔔 you can feel I’m taking time to travel even if you are on the bed😌 🛏️ .
2. I’m a (careless) solo traveler that loss my passport bag, after I asked the hotel owner for support me, they contacted any possible number and found it in 30 min with pickup for me… return to me at the hotel room without any extra fee. The best decision for solo trip is choosing this hotel.
3. Under the stunning view from hotel room, a minimart is in 1st floor. And you can walk to the seaside spot anytime you want, only 1 section 🚦 in front of the hotel building.
4. I found the Dalian ring bus on evenings but it’s the best solution to reach all of beautiful seaside spots, you can get in and out of the bus many times you want with costs 20¥ per day (8:00-16:30) and the bus stop of Venice water city is in front of the hotel building, the valuable and convenient hotel!
5. Because this is my first trip to Dalian, I asked many questions about recommended food, air-conditioner… the hotel’s WeChat answered me immediately every time.

It is convenient to go anywhere, buy seafood, cherries, eat and everything.
The subway is 2 minutes downstairs, there are buses, and there are small yellow cars.
You can go to the beach when you walk, the projection is super cool to chase the drama at night haha

I was incredibly satisfied with my stay at your hotel! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt the warm and thoughtful service. The front desk staff were welcoming and friendly, check-in was quick and efficient, and they even kindly upgraded my room type, which was a wonderful surprise.
The room was spacious and tidy, the bedding was comfortable and soft, and the facilities were comprehensive. The shower pressure and temperature control were especially excellent, washing away a day's fatigue. The hotel's location is also very convenient, with a wide array of dining and shopping options nearby, making getting around super easy.
I particularly want to commend the room service, which was prompt and attentive to detail. The breakfast selection was rich and tasted great! Overall, this stay far exceeded my expectations. I will definitely choose this place again for future business trips or vacations! 5-star rating, highly recommended! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

SSunnyAmyEvery year when I come back to Shenyang, I always book this hotel without a doubt. Each time, I choose a three-bedroom apartment, which is convenient for my husband and me, and our son and daughter to have their own space. Most of the time, I book through the official website and with Ms. Liu from sales, though occasionally I've booked on Ctrip. Regardless of the platform, I always receive excellent service.
This time, I arrived at the hotel close to 11 PM. It was comforting to see the familiar smiling face of the front desk staff. After recognizing my member status, she even upgraded my room to an executive suite. There have been several times I considered booking hotels on Youth Street, but while they may seem luxurious, they're not as practical for a family like ours staying for a few days, especially with all the laundry. At Ascott Shenyang, I can wash and dry clothes every day, and the kitchen is very convenient with a refrigerator to store groceries. When I've stayed for longer periods, I've even ordered delivery from Sam's Club and cooked my own meals. I've even spent Chinese New Year here and cooked our reunion dinner myself.
If I had to point out a drawback, I'd say some of the facilities could use an upgrade. For example, the speakers next to the TV are still from the DVD era; they could easily be replaced with modern, affordable, and functional Bluetooth speakers. The hotel kitchen is fully equipped with tableware and cookware, and there's a Xin Tiandi supermarket nearby to buy seasonings, plus a convenient Lawson downstairs. The only sad thing is the decline of Taiyuan Street; it was so bustling when I first came to Shenyang over 20 years ago, but now many shops have closed.
While the breakfast selection isn't huge, it's sufficient, offering both Chinese and Western options. The staff in the breakfast area are all very warm and polite.
Parking downstairs costs 40 yuan per day. What's more convenient now is that after registering your license plate when checking in, you don't need parking vouchers every time you leave. You just settle the total parking fee when you check out.
I'm always grateful for an incident during Christmas two years ago. I fell ill when I was alone in the room, and struggled to order medicine for delivery. It was the gentleman downstairs who brought it up to me, and I started to feel better after taking it. By the time my husband and child returned, I was already much improved. I've seen him still working near the front desk during my current stay. I'll be back this summer for another long stay. See you again, Ascott, in the summer!

AAngela ZhaixiaoanThis was my first time booking a serviced apartment, and the room was much larger than I expected. Even though the hotel is nearly 10 years old, the facilities are well-maintained. It's fully equipped with a washing machine, refrigerator, kitchenware, and tableware. The toiletries were even my favorite Atelier Cologne 'Pomelo Paradis'! The hotel is also super thoughtful; it's located just 200 meters from the marathon start line, and they prepared a special 'cheer-up' breakfast pack for all guests, regardless of whether they'd booked breakfast. The cleaning lady was very warm and friendly. There's direct access from the building to the neighboring mall, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. This will definitely be my top choice next time I visit Dalian.
