Firstly, I have to say that the service here provided by the staff was fantastic. I can dare say that it’s better than 5-star hotels—they are very present, attentive, patient, enthusiastic and helpful. As someone who barely speaks mandarin and travelling to China for the first time, they really took the effort and time to connect and made sure that we were not lost or confused. For the first time in a long time, I feel like the service staff genuinely care about their guests. The place itself is comfortable—hot water to shower, aircon that works well to fight the heat, daily housekeeping and basic amenities provided. Location is perfect if you are planning to visit Disneyland. To the main city, it’s not that close, but bearable and affordable by taxi. Convenient stores and supermarket is about half an hour by walk. But you can always order in food and drinks on their local app (you can ask the staff to help you if you’re unsure)… there are plenty of options. Some vegetarian too. And if you are ever feeling lonely, there are two residential cats in the main lobby area to keep you company. 🙂 Overall, I would recommend this place to people who are planning to visit Shanghai Disneyland. It’s a gem! Cute architecture too.

The folk custom is newly built. There is a river and a small bridge in front. The scenery is okay. The beds are big and comfortable. The room is very clean. Because it is a twin room, the room is also very big. The bathroom is a smart toilet and the bathroom decoration is more family-friendly. , children like it more, and the pictures displayed on site and online are consistent. The shortcomings may be a little bit far away, but the price and hardware facilities are very conscientious in Shanghai. I would recommend it next time I go there. It is clean, the room is big, and it is comfortable to stay. I went out early in the morning and took a few photos.

I booked at Soho Garden Villa because I was traveling with my dog and needed a place to have a day of rest in Shanghai before continuing our trip. Booking for an additional dog was extremely easy, and the staff at the hotel were all extremely kind and helpful despite our language barrier. I am very grateful!! In terms of space, the room I had was quite basic (small) size-wise and it would be a squeeze for more than 2 nights. If I had been staying for other reasons I might have asked for a view. That said, what existed what quite comfortable and very functional. The fruit and snacks were a nice additional touch. (I would just suggest that the refrigerator be colder.) The location is excellent, especially for exploring the French Concession area and generally walking around. Especially true if you have a dog (or any travel companion who enjoys a walk!).

Next to Disney, about 15 minutes by car, it's easier to go to Disney in the morning. I came at night, there is a small road without street lights, it's a bit difficult to drive. The room is a little surprise, the baby is very happy to sleep upstairs, and the floor heating is also very comfortable. You need to tell the housekeeper about the hot spring in the yard, and the housekeeper can open the main valve and then drain the water. It's very comfortable to soak and then go to sleep. The breakfast is very ordinary, you can choose between small wontons and seafood noodles, and the small wontons taste good. Others include orange juice, milk, boiled eggs, croissants, milk can be heated, and the croissants are not heated. It was agreed to be sent to Disney at 8:30, but it broke the appointment. It was only at 8:50 that they said the car was broken, which was speechless.

The hotel is located near the Jiaotong University subway station. It is a renovation of an old house with a historical flavor. Whether it is the exterior, the building, or the room, it retains the original flavor of old Shanghai and Western style. The overall environment and facilities can be described as ”small but complete”. A toiletry bag is provided when entering the store, and there are also drinks and fruits in the room (all free!!) The hotel itself is a scenic spot worth checking in and taking pictures (we saw a lot of young ladies taking pictures in the afternoon when we just arrived), and the fallen leaves of the sycamore at the door bring a unique feeling (the two cats on the first floor of the hotel 🐱 seem to be Internet celebrities, haha)😃 And a few hundred meters away is the Internet celebrity Wukang Building, which is only a few minutes walk from the Jiaotong University subway station, making it very convenient to travel.  The hotel service is very good, the front desk lady is very patient, and the aunt who serves us breakfast is also very kind. The hotel gave us an extra day of breakfast, and the dirty clothes we wanted to change were also handled for us in time. It was really comfortable to stay in Soho for two nights~❤️❤️❤️

To start off, service and cleanliness is exceptional, there’s no place where I have been to with this level of service and cleanliness. They take care of you as an individual (for example, they give advice and tips on where we want to go). They provide absolutely delicious home cook breakfast. Location is perfect if you want to go Disney. 100% will recommend anyone who travels to Shanghai for Disneyland to choose this wonderful home stay. The owner of the B&B, Sister Qin, is very welcoming. As soon as we arrived at the B&B, we felt at home. Sister Qin is very warm and considerate. We arrived very late, and she told us to go to bed peacefully. She was the last one to sleep, and she woke us up on time in the morning so as not to delay our time to play in Disney. The style is also natural. It makes people feel very tired after coming back from Disney and want to be quiet. It is indeed a good place. Next time I come to Disney, I still want to stay in this warm B&B.

I thought I was booking a homestay, but it turned out to be a villa. The environment is excellent, the facilities are good, the service is considerate, it is close to the airport and they also provide pick-up and drop-off. It was raining heavily in Shanghai, and the store even lent me an umbrella. I came back very late and they also reserved the room in advance. One surprise after another! I will choose this place again on my next business trip

As a homestay, the facilities are new, the hygiene is good, and there are cute little cats. It is very quiet at night, the linens smell fresh and new, and I slept very well. Because the transportation nearby is not very convenient, the owner is enthusiastic to pick us up. Although the homestay does not provide meals, the recommended farmhouse restaurant nearby is also very delicious.
