This stay was absolutely fantastic! The room was spotless and had a really cozy vibe. The hotel staff were incredibly warm and attentive, even helping us plan our itinerary since it was our first time visiting – that was a huge bonus. The hotel's location is super convenient, less than a hundred meters from the scenic area. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town. Highly recommended!

The guesthouse boasts a fantastic overall layout, featuring a pond, a sandpit, and a charming tea pavilion. Inside, guests will find an automatic mahjong table and a private KTV room, ensuring plenty of entertainment without ever needing to leave. The entire place is exceptionally clean and feels high-quality. With 8 guest rooms, including standard rooms, double rooms, and suites, it's perfectly suited for company team-building events or family gatherings, comfortably accommodating up to 16 guests. The courtyard also offers BBQ facilities and cooking options; the host can even arrange self-service BBQ and a whole roasted lamb. Just 100 meters away, Yujia'ao restaurant provides excellent dining. I'd happily return given the chance, highly recommended!

I brought my parents to Simatai Great Wall and Gubei Water Town for the weekend and chose to stay at this hotel right at the entrance of the scenic area. Overall, I'm very satisfied. I pre-registered my car plate number, so we could drive directly to the parking lot downstairs. The apartment is just a short walk to both the shuttle pick-up point for the Great Wall and the entrance to the Water Town. The owner was incredibly responsive and thoughtful. He brought two large bottles of water for our two rooms and personally carried them up. In the evening, while my husband and I were out, my parents, who are in their 70s, mentioned that they couldn't adjust the heating and were a bit cold. The owner immediately went over and resolved the issue, showing great care for the elderly. The owner also has a breakfast partnership with a nearby restaurant, offering discounts if you order through them. We didn't have time to eat, but the owner proactively refunded us the money. All in all, we were very pleased.

Oh dear, I came with high expectations to experience your establishment's ”Japanese Garden,” and what an eye-opener it was! The ”utterly faithful” recreation is simply astonishing – the serene dry landscape and exquisite stone lanterns pictured in the photos were, in reality, just a few weathered, broken chairs standing forlornly, embodying a profound ”wabi-sabi” aesthetic! Ah, this minimalist beauty, I finally understand; it's simply that we common folk lack the refined taste to appreciate it. The bathroom experience was even more ”Zen-like”! The showerhead delivered water in a mere trickle, and the hot water was exceedingly tardy, requiring guests to wait patiently with a devout heart. Craving a truly refreshing shower? Don't rush; this is the owner's meticulously designed ”slow living” segment, allowing you to contemplate life amidst the sound of dripping water. As for bottled mineral water? Oh, for a ”high-end” establishment like yours, advocating for environmental protection, bringing your own reusable water bottle is clearly the correct approach! Mosquitoes? Those are merely proof of the garden's ecological friendliness, a complimentary ”natural spa” – why spoil the fun by mentioning them? The most ”splendid” part, however, was browsing the owner's replies! Wow! What a master of debate, churning out witty remarks one after another! Their attitude towards negative reviews was even tougher than our ”wabi-sabi” chairs! After reading the owner's eloquent responses, I instantly realized that low water pressure in the shower was no longer an issue, as the ”high-pressure” impact on one's psyche is far greater! This service attitude truly makes one feel ”at home” – specifically, making you eager to rush back home. The 300+ price tag was unremarkable, so I'll give it a 3-star rating, just to make a point.

Absolutely recommended, Great host, room is vey close to the Gubei water town, Its not inside the water town, 2 minutes walk to the entrance. so you have to pay for the entrance, and also have to buy the ticket to the great wall. But still cheaper to do that way and room is greatly worth the price that we paid. Love to stay there again. Tips : visit water town in the morning using the one day 1 time pass, go to the great wall before 2pm, come back to the water town 4:30pm, and roam around the town for couple of hours. Dont miss drone show, water fountain show, snd great performances by talented stunt crew. Be prepared to spend all day in great wall and Gubei town combined.

I came to Huairou with my friends during the winter vacation and booked this B&B. It's called a B&B, but it's more like a combination of a hotel and a party hall. Each room has the hotel's hygiene standards, and toiletries, disposable slippers, towels, bath towels, and floor towels are all equipped. Because there are eight of us, we chose this four-bedroom room. The overall stay is very good. There is a bar, a pool table and a table tennis table on the third floor. It will be very warm at noon. There is a KTV and mahjong room on the second floor, which allows us to have free entertainment facilities. In short, this B&B experience is very good and I recommend it to everyone~

The house is very nice, with complete facilities. You can sing karaoke and play billiards on the first floor. There is a heated swimming pool. There are game consoles on the second floor. My father and I had a lot of fun. If the schedule was not so tight, the child would have wanted to stay here for another day. The boss is also very nice. Not only did he help me book tickets for the night tour of the Great Wall, he also sent back the walnuts that were left at the B&B. He was very patient throughout the whole process.

Xiao Wang was enthusiastic and attentive, specifically arranging a League of Legends themed room for my son. They also provided shuttle service to and from the parking lot and recommended the cooperating Mingyue Restaurant – the dishes were plentiful and delicious (my little one loved the fried river shrimp and egg fried rice), and the restaurant even sent a car to pick us up. Overall, it was a great experience!

As an avid traveler, I had the privilege of experiencing the unique charm of Tongchen Inn firsthand. The moment I stepped into the inn, I was captivated by its warmth and elegance. From the decor to the furnishings, every detail exudes an artistic and warm atmosphere. The spacious and bright room, with clean and comfortable beds, made me feel right at home. Not to mention, the inn also offers a variety of convenient amenities, including a small dining bar, tea room, mahjong room, and karaoke. Whether you're looking for a delicious meal, a casual chat, or a cup of tea, everything is available here.

A family travel, the location is very good to find, the small courtyard is warm and comfortable. The big swimming pool is fun, barbecue in the courtyard in the evening, the sky curtain table and chair oven fan are all available, the boss intimately helped pull the wire, convenient to use the electric pot, the small courtyard in the evening is cool and comfortable. The house is clean and hygienic, the kitchen utensils are also very complete, the parking is convenient, the family has fun, and the mother explained that the year should come early!
