Nice, polite staff (except for the cook, who almost always has a disgruntled look on her face), decent location. If you're put on a higher floor, you'll get a nice view; if you're put in the basement, you won't get a view, but you'll smell urine if the window is open. The sauna costs 20 euros, although it's not listed as a paid service on ******* and Trip. I don't know about the gym, as I didn't go. The breakfast was average, even poorer than average, but then again, it's listed as excellent on *******. My blanket was pretty dirty, but I didn't mind it much, and the washing machine and gas stove worked, with one burner. I chose this hotel because it has a rating of almost 8 on both Trip and *******, but in reality, it barely reaches 5. Overall, it's a good option for a week or so if you don't want or can't stay in Beyoglu.

Amazing place to stay. Room was spacious and clean, had a great view and nothing missing in the room. Pool is free to use with floating foams around, there is also a hot jacuzzi. You only need to bring or buy a swimming cap before. Open buffet food was great with a lot of options. The staff is very friendly. There is a metro nearby which you can use to travel to central Istanbul.

Em primeiro lugar, a localização é perfeita, bem em frente à linha de bonde de Fındıkzade e a uma curta caminhada de todos os principais pontos turísticos e mesquitas. Em segundo lugar, o serviço e a equipe foram espetaculares! A recepção nos deu um quarto maior e foram extremamente educados e prestativos. O serviço de concierge foi o mais rápido que já vi em qualquer hotel. No geral, foi uma estadia maravilhosa. Costumamos vir a Istambul com frequência, então com certeza ficarei aqui novamente na próxima vez!

Hotel room is cleaned daily and is quite spacious. Breakfast timing is good too but same fares everyday. I notice people tend to come for breakfast at about 10am (peak time). Location of the hotel is not so ideal as one has to walk a very steep 45 degree slope to Taksim about 1 km away.

The location is great. And the price was like a hostel.
I booked economy single room and for it's price it's really good. The room is also quite spacious. And the staff was really friendly
But there are also some cons:
It wasn't written in description that the bathroom is separate from the room in the hall (it's near the room and technically still private bathroom but it feels a bit uncomfortable anyway)
And also there's no terrace but the room has a second door and a window to inner yard (connected to laundry room and main reception) so it's also feels a bit uncomfortable as someone might see and enter the room through it. So you need to lock the second door and close the curtains.
However, generally for the price it was a great deal

Clean, The room is big enough, the breakfast is varied, the staff are kind, the hotel is close to the metro and the tram, I loved it and if I visit Türkiye again I will stay there, I highly recommend this hotel

Great
I loved staying here. It's a little out of the way but still only eight minutes on foot to Sultanahmet square. Nice and quiet. Large clean room with great bed and great pillows. Looks new inside. Wonderful breakfast with fabulous views on the 5th floor. There is a spa downstairs so I got a nice massage. Great staff who helped me out with all my requests. I highly recommend this hotel.

My first night was a disaster because my room's power supply kept cutting off and they took almost 3 to 4 hours to fix it, due to that I couldn't sleep the whole night and my morning plans got wasted too. I asked the hotel manager Mr.Arda to give me an extra night, (he refused), airport transfer on my checkout date , (he refused) , room upgrade, (he refused) , Then Mr Arda promised us a complimentary dinner at the rooftop restaurant and that was amazing .My initial plan was to stay 3 nights but then I extended it for 2 more nights because of 1 man Mr.Karem at the reception , the nicest guy of the hotel , Mr.Karem and Mr.Arda helped us alot and supported us in every aspect, but sorry to say all the other staff members there had just 1 answer. im sorry we cannot help you we cannot help you , I'll definitely visit again, Thanks to Mr.Arda and Mr.Karem ❤️ and lastly thanks to Mr.Servet who told us about the free shuttle service provided by the hotel which takes us to Taksim . Yet, my recent stay at the Crowne Plaza Istanbul – Old City genuinely stood out. It’s a property that masterfully combines thoughtful design, polished service, and a location that captures the very essence of Istanbul’s history and rhythm. An Experience Worth Remembering Location & Access Situated in the heart of the city’s historic core, this hotel makes exploration effortless. From here, it’s just a short walk to the Grand Bazaar, Sultanahmet, and several key transport links. The setting feels authentic and lively; ideal for guests who want proximity without sacrificing comfort. Room 3219 – Exceptional Comfort The room offered a superb balance of functionality and elegance. It was impeccably clean, featuring plush bedding, perfect lighting for reading or work, and a surprisingly quiet HVAC system, a rarity in city hotels. Small details, like the scent of fresh linen and a spotless bathroom, reinforced the sense of care behind the housekeeping standards. Service & Staff The staff are the heartbeat of this property. Every interaction, from check-in to checkout, reflected professionalism anchored in genuine warmth. They anticipated needs before being asked, making the experience feel personal rather than procedural. This consistency across teams’ front desk, dining, and housekeeping speaks volumes about the culture of service within the hotel. Dining Experience Breakfast was both indulgent and efficient. The buffet selection was diverse, featuring beautifully presented dishes that catered to both international and local palates. The staff handled the morning rush with grace and precision, maintaining quality and attentiveness without any sense of haste. Facilities & Ambience Public areas were spotless and aesthetically cohesive. The fitness and spa areas were well-maintained, creating a serene environment ideal for unwinding after long days in the city. The lounge and lobby were comfortable enough to double as workspaces, a feature that frequent travelers will appreciate. The One Minor Quirk I noticed some early-morning noise, mostly the seagulls, a distant metro vibration, and a faint scratchy sound around 6 a.m. While this didn’t detract from the overall stay, it’s worth noting for lighter sleepers. It’s a subtle reminder that even in the most refined settings, Istanbul’s energy has its own morning rhythm. Final Thoughts What defines the Crowne Plaza Istanbul – Old City isn’t just its luxury—it’s the consistency of experience. Every aspect feels considered and intentional. Having stayed at countless hotels across Europe, the Middle East, and North America, it’s rare to find one that strikes this balance of local charm and international polish. I often recommend property to colleagues who travel as frequently as I do, and this one has already made it to the top of that list. It leaves one wondering: how might the experience differ in another season, on a higher floor, or in one of the suites overlooking the skyline? Would the same quiet elegance and seamless service hold up under different conditions? Those are questions I find myself curious to explore again, perhaps sooner than I planned.

Amazing! I am a female sojourner in Istanbul for four days, if you are worried to travel alone this is the place to be! Super nice staff, amazing food (Nobu is famous Japanese cuisine) I tried spa, all restaurant, and the breakfast is superb over 5star (they do provide champagne for breakfast) Bed are huge; showers are great, a bit hiccup for the shower floor flooding but they manage to solve it. For taxi, pls book in advance with concierge so no more hustle from hotel to airport (45mins ride)

The location is very good that a lots of area of interests are within walking distance. A lots of transportation to choose from, trains, tram and bus are also available. Nice breakfast and paid meals are also good.
