A decisão de chegar a Queenstown do Monte Cook é um último minuto.Embora seja barato, não se arrepende de ter um quarto aqui por duas noites. Ele veio com UMA cozinha totalmente equipada, ONDE você Pode fazer alguma cozinha, MAS não usou isso desde que comemos fora.Uma Peeve que EU não entendo é a necessidade de Pagar para estacionamento desde o local ($16 por nite). Há um estacionamento amplo e para os convidados que entram, isso deve ser um prazer para a duração da estadia.
O hotel está fora de Queenstown, MAS o táxi de água está disponível no doc do hotel.Recomenda para o Ambiente e quartos fantásticos, MAS para acomodações com três estrelas, porque você Precisa pagar para estacionar.
A localização do lago permite a paz e a tranquilidade, e também a vida selvagem.O pessoal do Frente de serviço Durante o check-in também era muito atento e útil.

Location: The hotel is located close to the Queenstown airport but approximately 15 mins away from Queenstown itself.
Parking: There is no parking bays at the Hilton (only valet) itself but it shares with Doubletree which is limited. Due to some maintenance work, level P2 was closed off and had to park in a reserved slot for the night. Cost of parking is NZ$ 16 per night.
Rooms: This is where my issue lies, the room temp is centrally managed and it was freezing at night especially with the floor to ceiling windows. Had to go to the front desk for portable heater and extra blankets on the 1st night. Bathroom is non-heated (with tiled floors) so extra cold in there. In most places we stayed in NZ, the bathrooms had heated lamps overhead for comfort. I requested the accessible room for mom and it was provided as requested although the location of the room was on one end of the building which is a distance to walk.
Food: Breakfast was a good selection and ran from 630 to 1030am.

We chose this hotel because we expected to enjoy its winery/food. Otherwise, we should have stayed in Queenstown with a lot of restaurants and pubs.
As we would arrive in the early evening, we put a note for our hope for experiencing their winery and food (or at least finger foods) when we booked the hotel, and received email that they cannot guarantee but will do their best to serve our need. Since then, no email was sent to us. When we arrived at the hotel around 6 pm, no one was in the information desk, so we had to go to the bistro to find out that they left the key in a safe box without any notice or sending us any email with its password. We had to wait a while for the bistro lady to make a phone call to whom it concerns, which was okay. Worse, we heard that their bistro was reserved for a group event so we could not use the facility at all. We had to drive 15 minutes to a nearby town and bought foods from a supermarket. I think the hotel should have notified us of impossibility of using their bistro/food service due to the group event and we have to prepare for our food. As I checked out, I left a note about the issues, and expected they would send me an email to express their sincere apology. Unfortunately nothing happened so far. Although I liked the room as well as the whole place very much, I think Kinross cottage needs professionalism to run their stay program. It could have been much nicer, memorable stay experience.

GGuest UserHighly recommended! It's a suite design with a kitchen that not only has a stove but also a microwave and oven, and all the basic cooking utensils are provided. Both the living room and bathroom offer lake views, which is incredibly pleasant. The TV supports screen casting, and the bathroom facilities are quite modern. There's even a very small balcony, big enough for two people to stand on. I got a great deal when I booked, but normally it's about 1300-1400 RMB per night. It's a fantastic option if you don't fancy the local food and want to cook your own meals.

::))We were thrilled to be the very first guests to leave a review for this stunning new resort! The location is fantastic, just a quick 10-minute drive to town, and our room offered breathtaking views of the Shot River, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere.
We arrived around 10 PM, and the hotel reception was impeccably prepared, warmly welcoming us and even upgrading our room! It looked exactly like the photos, with a design and interior that perfectly captured the vibe we were seeking. They had welcome drinks waiting for us, and we appreciated that milk was available on request at any time.
The breakfast was a delightful a la carte experience, featuring an array of delicious options. The serving staff was not only attentive and kind but also provided excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants!
We also indulged in room service, which exceeded our expectations in both taste and punctuality. Although the fitness room and movie room were still under construction, the small maintenance issue we encountered in the bathroom was addressed swiftly by the staff.
Our stay has left us eager to return and see the final results of this new gem. I highly recommend this resort to everyone!

MMirendexinsuanDon't choose this hotel if you're driving! Its location is by the lake in the city center, but the hotel has very few parking spots, none of which are for guests! Guests have to find public parking themselves! We really regretted booking this hotel for our road trip! I'll say it again: don't book this hotel if you're driving! It's better suited for tour groups and chartered buses. Queenstown is small, and most attractions and activities are within walking distance.

SSafiyoooI had a truly wonderful stay at this retreat. The place itself is absolutely spectacular — very calming, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by breathtaking views. The deck is stunning, and it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind.
The owners were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and looked after throughout my stay. Their hospitality genuinely stood out. The dogs were lovely and added so much warmth to the experience. Breakfast was excellent, and the variety of teas available was out of this world.
As a female solo traveller, I felt completely safe, comfortable, and well cared for, which is something I value highly. The atmosphere is peaceful and nurturing — exactly what you want from a retreat.
The only minor downside is that it’s a bit far from the shops (around a one-hour walk). However, this was easily managed as Uber is only a 6-minute drive, and the hosts were also kind enough to offer lifts when possible.
Overall, an absolutely stunning place, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable stay

MMatetelaqiThis is the most luxurious hotel I've ever stayed in on a trip, though I guess I haven't really stayed in many fancy places, haha. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and gave excellent tips. The bellboy delivered our luggage right to the door, which was a nice touch. You have to take a boat to get to town; it costs $10 per trip with a card, which is a bit pricey, but it was a unique way to travel. Because it's a bit far from the town center, it's very quiet at night with minimal light pollution. You can step outside and see the stars, and the pool is great. The room itself was fantastic, though the lighting was a little dim. The bathroom was spacious.

KKobez776Overall, it's decent. The view from the window offers a distant panorama of snow-capped mountains. The location is quite convenient for getting around, but the hotel has limited parking spaces, which isn't ideal for self-driving tourists exploring New Zealand's South Island. Although the underground car park has two or three levels, it was always full when we drove down. The hotel charges for parking daily, but if you arrive late, you'll often find no available spots and will need to find alternative parking yourself.
Most of Queenstown's attractions are nearby, with the cruise activity center less than 1 km away. It seemed that Queenstown required the least amount of driving during our South Island road trip, making its convenience excellent.

GGuest UserIt was beyond my expectation. It was so beautiful. It faced the huge lake in Queenstown. The facilities were very good, including dishwasher, washing machine, bathroom, bedding, and the view. Most importantly, the price was much better than those hotels with direct beach access.

GGuest UserOverall, the location, service and facilities are very good. but the pricing is a bit on expensive side. The buffet breakfast at hotel with limited choices which can not compare with the same kind of hotels category in Asia....can't expect too much. You may consider to book room only instead. The service and the reception, concierge and doorman are very helpful and providing many information. If the service and attentiveness at the cafe (during serving breakfast) can be enhance, it will be much better.
