Had a wonderful stay at KSL Hotel & Resort! The room was very clean and well-maintained, which made our stay comfortable from the moment we arrived. The location is excellent, especially with the mall connected—very convenient for food, shopping, and entertainment. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always ready to assist with a smile. The facilities were great as well, especially for families. The kids really enjoyed the pool and play areas. Overall, it was a pleasant and relaxing experience. Highly recommended for families looking for a convenient and enjoyable stay. Will definitely come back again!

I had a wonderful stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Johor Bahru. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and very professional. The check-in process was smooth, and the famous warm DoubleTree cookie made the arrival even more pleasant. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with a beautiful view of the city. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and the well-maintained facilities. The housekeeping team did a great job keeping everything spotless. The hotel location is also very convenient, with easy access to nearby shopping malls, restaurants, and the CIQ checkpoint. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of options and the food quality was excellent. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I would definitely recommend DoubleTree by Hilton Johor Bahru to anyone visiting Johor Bahru and look forward to staying here again in the future

I really enjoyed the food, breakfast, sedap and satisfying. Love that there’s a swimming pool and gym to chill and stay active. The room also comes with a bathtub, which makes it even better for relaxing after a long day. Definitely worth it!

Mixed Experience – Good Service Recovery but Initial Handling Could Be Better I recently stayed at Holiday Villa Johor Bahru City Centre and had a mixed experience. For the first two nights, we suspected the room was not properly cleaned as both my husband and I experienced continuous sneezing throughout the stay. I reported this to the front desk after the first night, but no action was taken or escalated. Unfortunately, we had to endure a second uncomfortable night before I raised the issue again to the duty manager. I must commend the duty manager for her prompt and decisive action — she arranged an immediate room change, which made a significant difference. This level of service recovery was appreciated. However, it is unclear why the initial concern was not escalated earlier by the front desk, which could have prevented unnecessary discomfort. On a positive note, when I fell sick during the stay, the front desk staff were thoughtful enough to send porridge and warm water to my room — a kind gesture that I truly appreciated. The hotel’s location is very convenient, and the breakfast selection varies daily, which is a plus. A special mention to the egg station staff — they were consistently friendly and attentive, handling every request with a smile even during busy periods. Check-out was smooth and efficient. Overall, while there were some lapses in initial handling, the service recovery and certain staff members’ efforts stood out.

It was a great stay. This is our 2nd time here. We keep coming back because the rooms are nice and the staff are friendly. The location is also good. The breakfast have simple menu but it’s ok. Although you need to walk through the pool area without shelter, it was nice that we have a good weather during our sta. Otherwise it will be inconvenient to go to the breakfast area when raining.

The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to relax after a long day. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, which made the stay even more pleasant. Breakfast had a good variety with both local and international options, and everything was fresh and tasty. Location is excellent—conveniently connected to the mall and close to key attractions, making it easy to get around. Overall, a great hotel with excellent service and comfort.

Though it was a self-check in process by collecting the house key from the mail box, it made it easy with the detailed instructions provided by the host. We drove with complimentary parking for our stay. It was easy to locate the lift lobby again with the detailed information. We booked two bedrooms apartment and the room is fantastic, clean and new! The amenities like pool and gym was good too. Its connected to R&F Mall by a linkway bridge. Everything was good and we had a bery pleasant stay. Strongly recommended! 😊

A large 20-30 years old hotel building. Clean , very large guest room with city view on the high floor. Fast check in and friendly staff. Very good buffet breakfast. Good water pressure at the high floor bathroom. None smoking rooms are available, but sometimesl smell of the smoking still coming from room ventilation. Good room price. Will stay again if I come to Johor Baru.

Room Condition: The hotel is quite old and a bit rundown, so it’s understandable that the furniture is also aged. The table lamp/study light looked worn out and could use some maintenance. Service: Check-in at the front desk was smooth, but we faced an issue with the TV in our room. We couldn’t watch any channels at all. At first, we thought it might be due to the weather, but the TV in my parents’ room worked fine. We scanned the QR code to request assistance and received only “Noted” as a response. We sent two messages and got the same reply both times. Since there was no follow-up, we went to the front desk to report it in person, but unfortunately, no action was taken until we checked out. That was quite disappointing. Car Park: Try to avoid parking directly under the trees, as there are quite a lot of weaver ants around the area. Breakfast Buffet: The breakfast buffet was okay. The kurma chicken tasted more like ayam ungkep, which was a bit misleading, but I actually loved it since I really like ayam ungkep.

O check-in e o check-out também foram tranquilos, provavelmente porque não fomos afetados pela alta temporada. O café da manhã também foi bom! Nossa segunda manhã estava mais cheia, mas havia mais opções e estava delicioso. O quarto era confortável e tudo era fornecido, como toalhas, produtos de banho e higiene pessoal. A conexão da TV também estava um pouco instável, mas não nos importamos. O estacionamento também foi fácil para nós e a localização parecia segura. Perto de atrações turísticas como o Adventure Waterpark e o Woodfire também! Obrigado pelo ótimo serviço!
