Nicely renovated hotel. Unfortunately staff are new and surprising not many front desk staff can converse in English.
Breakfast was good with many choices. However, we couldnt eat most of the time as my family has to go for activities early like skiing and local tours. The cafe staff allows us to start breakfast before the opening time but an English speaking lady with a coat turned up one morning and stopped us from starting breakfast early before the opening time. She was so rude and told us wait till 630 before we can touch the food!
I dont see why we cannot start with cereals that was already on display.
I will return to stay as the hotel is new, rooms are large and the onsen is clean and comfortable. There was a gym and laundry facilities too
Location is good. Room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is superb with lots of seafood selection. The onsen is on the top floor with a beautiful view.

So far so good, it has an independent washing machine with dryer function in the room and air conditioning that is able to be controlled by temperature and mode.
A recepção fica no segundo andar.
Location: Within the airport international terminal. Short indoor walk from Arrivals. Very convenient.
Atmosphere: Calm, quiet and friendly. Warm welcome. Full of artistic features.
Rooms: Well appointed, spotlessly clean. Spacious. Quiet. Comfortable beds.
Amenities: Library. Tea House and Onsen
Breakfast: Lovely breakfast spread. Delicious ramen.
We would love to be back.
Room is spacious and bed is big and comfortable. Love the memory foam pillow as well. Onsen is basic with just one 'pool'.
Breakfast is the highlight of this hotel. You get to choose between 2 restaurants - buffet or Japanese dining. We stayed 2 night so we get to try both. I personally prefer the buffet as the variety and quality of food is really good. My husband prefer the Japanese dining it is less chaotic compared to the buffet restaurant as it has less people.
Location is great. Walking distance to a few tourists attraction.
The location is within easy walking distance of major attractions, subway lines, and great restaurants. The bed was incredibly comfortable, fantastic night's sleep every single night. Best of all, the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Would definitely stay here again!
The JR Tower Hotel Nikko is a solid choice for anyone looking for convenience in Sapporo. Its location right on top of the JR station makes getting around incredibly straightforward, especially if you have luggage. Since it’s connected to the shopping malls and the city's massive underground walkway, it’s easy to duck back to the room to drop off shopping bags or take a break without going out of your way.
The view from the high-floor rooms is probably the standout feature. Facing the mountain range, the scenery is impressive in the morning and equally good at night when the city lights are up. Inside, the room felt well-designed, particularly the bathroom. It’s quite large by Japanese standards, and the bathtub is actually big enough to relax in. They provide bath salts and powders, which is a nice touch, as is the Dyson hairdryer—it's a significant upgrade over the standard wall-mounted versions you usually find in hotels. Overall, it was a practical, pleasant stay where the location and the views really justified the choice.
Probably the world’s best hotel with impeccable service rendered by superb warm & ultra friendly professionals. We can behold the most awe-inspiring & panoramic view of Lake Toya ⛰️ right from the comfort of our hotel rooms, New haven of happiness discovered on earth 🌈
Most grateful to Ms Harada San (Front Office) 🩷🩵whom went beyond the extra mile 🛼🛼 to create wonders & innovate lasting beautiful memories 📸 for our 🎂 & wedding celebrations 🥂🍾 with her magical touches. WOW, it’s truly unforgettable for a lifetime 😘
This is definitely the best place which warms our hearts 💕 in Hokkaido Sapporo Lake Toya 🇯🇵 & we desired to call “home sweet home” 🏡 during an icy cool winter ⛄️❄️ 🧊 .
Most impressive oishi & extensive buffet spread with succulent fresh seafood 🦞🪼🦀🐙🐠 & Hokkaido waygu beef 🥩🍖 for pampering indulgence. There’s even an onsen hot spring spa on site but we shy shy to use. Highly recommended, excellent job well done ✅

AAnonymous UserTravelled with a group of 3 adults and found it hard to find a room with reasonable price. I emailed in and realise they are open for 3 guest as long as u pay additional fare (5,500/night) for a sofa bed which was reasonable.
I enjoyed the stay throughly especially the onsen facility. I will definitely come back again!
GGuest UserThe hotel management is really poor. The public hot spring always has a sticky film on top, and there were foreign objects in the large pool where people lie down, almost cutting my skin. The worst part is that these things can't be removed. The day after soaking, my feet were incredibly itchy, probably due to a fungal infection. People with tattoos and whatnot were also soaking, and no one seemed to care. At 9 AM, staff members were walking around the hot spring area in outdoor snow boots, which was absolutely disgusting. And the funniest thing is, you have to take off your shoes when entering this hotel, and you're not allowed to wear slippers inside the entire hotel. I won't even mention the insufficient floor heating; walk around in socks for a bit, and white socks turn grey. Luggage can be wheeled through freely, so just imagine how dirty it must be. The dinner buffet was mediocre. I ordered a glass of red wine and had a headache all day afterward. The breakfast buffet the next day, however, was decent. I probably won't go back and hope they seriously improve their management. Don't tarnish the Tsuruga brand.
GGuest UserThis was my third stay, and I chose this hotel again because my previous two experiences were so good. However, this time was truly unacceptable. We arrived at the hotel around 11 AM. My daughter had injured her leg while skiing, so we asked the middle-aged woman at check-in if we could check in early. She said yes, but we'd have to pay for an additional day – what a rip-off! The funny thing is, they told us we could wait in the lobby until 3 PM without paying. The lobby was nice, so we decided to wait there instead of wasting about 1700 RMB. But then, to our surprise, we saw the staff taking our luggage and other belongings to our room much earlier, while we weren't allowed to enter. Crazy! On top of that, the Wi-Fi signal this time was incredibly poor, almost unusable. Reporting it to the hotel didn't help either; we had to use our own data. So, this stay was truly, truly, truly disappointing! Attached is a photo of my daughter in a wheelchair, and they still wouldn't let us check in early. That middle-aged woman was so inhumane!
GGuest UserThe room was spacious and included breakfast and dinner, with good quality ingredients. I stayed in the main building, which unfortunately doesn't have a lake view, but apparently the annex offers one! The underground onsen (hot spring) has a nice layout with multiple pools. It took about two hours to get here by bus from Kushiro.
未未来与远方The hotel's location near Shin-Osaka Station is incredibly convenient for buses, Shinkansen, and subways. It was a thoughtful touch that they offered free umbrellas downstairs on a rainy day, no registration needed. Plus, there are plenty of dining options right downstairs.
GGuest UserThis resort is located on the mountaintop and offers many snow activities. We had a great time playing in the snow in the afternoon! As someone from the south, I've never seen so much thick snow before! The hotel facilities are quite comprehensive, though the food options are limited. We tried the Michelin-starred Teppanyaki, and the service was excellent, and the taste was pretty good! However, the Japanese breakfast was just average.
GGuest UserThis is definitely a gem in Furano, the room is incredible but it will be better with bathtub! I was given a warm welcome by the staff, her smile was just so warm that it could melt the snow and ice outside the hotel.
The hotel's onsen is fantastic according to my wife and I don't have time to visit Onsen as I spent my time with my daughter inside the kid room, very clean and spacious kid room it has.
The internet speed is also blazing fast compared to other hotels in Hokkaido (Have to work while travelling).
Looking at the price and the room I'm getting, it is really worth every single cent!
AAnonymous UserLocation: If you couldn't book the hotel's free shuttle or the Kappa Liner bus, you can take rapid bus #7 or #8 from Sapporo city center to Daiichi Hotel Mae, and the hotel is right there. There's also a bus to Sapporo Ski Resort that stops at the same platform.
Room Amenities: The room was clean, tidy, and very spacious, and it even had its own private hot spring bath.
I booked a package that included breakfast and dinner. The food was just okay, but there was a self-service bar and some snacks.
MMaverick MakWe stayed here for 2 nights. The room is absolutely gorgeous. We booked a room with In-suite onsen, and it is directly fronting the river.
The room is very spacious with all the amenities you need. Modern-Japanese Ryokan styled. Very thoughtful design. There are seating area directly overlooking the river so you can have the picturesque scenery anytime of the day.
The breakfast and dinner were sumptuous. At 10.30pm, they serve complimentary ramen too. Popsicles are served when the onsen is open, and in the morning Yogurt drink will be served at the Onsen area.
There are 7 Sika Deer freely roaming at the property. They are such a sight to behold. Absolutely gorgeous, highly recommended.
VverazheFirst time staying at an OMO hotel, and this one in Asahikawa is about a 10-minute walk from Asahikawa Station. It's quite family-friendly, with various animal themes throughout. The lobby has a great vibe, and they offer welcome drinks and snacks after 3 PM. There were a lot of Westerners here, likely for skiing, as the hotel provides free shuttle services to the zoo and major ski resorts. The room itself felt a bit dated, and the bathroom facilities were just average. However, the amenities in the public bath were Hoshino Resorts' own brand, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was more Western-style, and the dishes were beautifully presented.
