Temos uma estadia incrível no Funny Lion Puerto Princesa! Desde a chegada até à partida, o serviço foi excelente e o pessoal estava constantemente quente, atento e genuinamente amigável, o que nos fez sentir-nos bem-vindos todo o tempo. Apreciamos também OS pequenos extras OS minibars e snacks de complimentar foram um BOM toque e fizemos a estadia sentir-se ainda Mais especial. Em geral, temos uma experiência muito confortável e divertida aqui, e certamente ficaria de novo na próxima viagem para Puerto Princesa. Muito recomendado!

The hotel was nice and clean, but unfortunately the receptionist that welcomed us doesn't speak good English, and it was difficult to communicate. The second disappointing aspect was about the pick-up at the airport. It seemed included in the price ( that's why I booked with them), but at the very end they told me that it was until 17, and we arrived at 18, so they asked for 3000 RMB. That could be okay, if the hotel would be very far from the airport, but once there we realized that it was 5 minutes. The price they asked for was far too high.

From check-in to check-out, the staff provided excellent customer service — always warm, attentive, and eager to help with a smile. They truly made me feel welcome and valued throughout my stay. The room was immaculate, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was soft and cozy, the linens fresh, and everything—from the bathroom to the minibar—was spotless. I also appreciated how quiet and relaxing the atmosphere was, perfect for unwinding after exploring the beautiful sights of Palawan. One of the highlights of my stay was the morning breakfast buffet. It offered a great variety of local and international dishes, all freshly prepared and delicious. From tropical fruits and made-to-order eggs to Filipino favorites and good coffee, it was the perfect way to start each day. The dining staff were equally wonderful—friendly, efficient, and attentive. Considering the high level of comfort, cleanliness, and service, the affordability of this hotel is truly impressive. You get a 5-star experience at a very reasonable price, making it one of the best values in Puerto Princesa. I highly recommend Best Western Plus The Ivy Wall Hotel to anyone visiting Palawan. Whether for business or leisure, it’s the perfect mix of luxury, convenience, and Filipino hospitality. I’ll definitely stay here again!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable, with plenty of space to relax. Everything felt well maintained and thoughtfully arranged. The highlight of the property is definitely the pool and the customer service . The infinity pool overlooking the water and surrounding landscape was absolutely stunning — a perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenery. It truly felt like a luxury experience. The location was also very convenient, close to shops, restaurants, and other attractions, making it easy to explore the area. The food was very good, with a great selection and quality, and the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. Their hospitality made the experience even better. Overall, a fantastic stay with beautiful views, great amenities, and excellent service. I would happily return!

Very clean and modern Hotel, nice rooftop pool. The only thing I would complain about is the coffee at the breakfast. The taste is very watery and not strong as it should be. Also the cinnamon roll I bought from the restaurant was not fresh.

A equipe foi muito simpática e acolhedora, o quarto era muito limpo, confortável e toalhas e roupas de cama pareciam e cheiravam limpas. Havia muitas opções de atividades recreativas e gostamos muito da nossa estadia. Além disso, a comida era deliciosa, a comida pedida à la carte vinha em boas porções. Nós apreciamos completamente a piscina do restaurante. Definitivamente visitaremos novamente em nossa próxima viagem a Palawan, faremos questão de convidar parentes!

À primeira vista, este hotel tem todas as comodidades necessárias: uma ótima piscina, academia, bilhar, proximidade da praia, café da manhã gratuito e traslado para o aeroporto. Esses foram definitivamente pontos positivos. O café da manhã era um tanto estranho: um buffet com uma opção de fruta, arroz, pratos de carne (frango ontem, peixe ou pato hoje), pão, waffles, condimentos, salada, uma estação de ovos onde você prepara o ovo de acordo com sua preferência e dois tipos de cereal. A qualidade era boa e certamente dava para se sentir satisfeito, mas as opções eram bastante aleatórias. Não nos importamos, mas não era para todos. O principal problema deste lugar é o quarto. Ele é maravilhosamente espaçoso e confortável, mas, como alguns outros já mencionaram, há uma umidade EXTREMA. A ponto de, na nossa primeira noite, termos que chamar a governança para trocar os lençóis e passar um pano no chão. A umidade escorria pelas paredes, acumulava-se nos pisos e superfícies, deixava nossas malas e roupas úmidas e criava um cheiro mofado repugnante. Presumimos que este não seja um problema incomum, apesar da ”surpresa” na recepção, já que o quarto estava coberto de mofo. A única maneira de realmente amenizar o problema (amenizar, mas não resolvê-lo completamente) é ligar o ar-condicionado na potência máxima e no frio extremo, o que não pudemos fazer, pois não estava quente o suficiente e não queríamos passar mal. A piscina, no entanto, estava muito limpa, e as mesas de bilhar e tênis de mesa foram um benefício bem-vindo, mas a praia não é própria para banho, então leve isso em consideração também. Uma estadia razoável se você tiver um voo de conexão, mas definitivamente não é uma experiência de qualidade de resort.

Amazing resort staff was so kind well trained the owner is a great person too, a lot of tours offered too. Even though the hotel wasn’t full finished at the time of me staying the treatment I received there makes me really want to return

Location is not as it seems. Every time we have to go to the white beach or other areas, it cost a lot on those tricycle rides. I mean a lot it adds up to more than 2k going here and there in just 3 days. The hotel itself is great, spacious and clean. Service can improve a bit, not attentive at times. The food must improve a lot, butter chicken is not butter chicken, more like turmeric ginger chicken. I expected authentic Indian if the owner is Singaporean Indian. The worst part is the stairs to climb to the hotel after a long day of exploring. Hotel does not allow consumption of outside meals, which is a very restricting policy, forcing you to only buy in house meals, in which so much of it is out of stock and has very limited time frame to order. Book this if you have money to throw here and there, and if you have your own transportation.

Чудесное место для остановки. У нас было уютное, просторное бунгало с небольшой терассой. Не хватало только холодильника, но это никак не повлияло на общее впечатление. Мы приехали около 2х часов ночи, нас дождались и заселили, несмотря на то, что заселение до 22.30. Ухоженная, территория, потрясающий сад растений. В отеле есть спа, неплохой массаж. Удобное месторасположение - чуть в стороне от суеты, есть свой пляж. Рядом отели без пляжа с мощёной набережной. Дайвинг брали в другом месте, так как в отеле все было забронировано. У нас был но ер без завтраков. Его можно взять и оплатить на месте. Мы завтракали в разных местах, все в пешей 5-ти минутной доступности. В поисках ужина обошли несколько мест, в итоге оказалось, что в этом отеле самая вкусная еда. Повару отдельное спасибо!
