Love their hot pools and amenities. Location would be 5mins driving from city. If you have car would be very convenient, I don’t think you can walk to city with this distance.

This was my second time staying here, and it was just as good as the first. The chalet was different from my previous stay, but the quality remained excellent—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The experience was just as enjoyable, proving that this place is consistently reliable. Will definitely return again!

Mercure Queenstown Resort has offered very good services with great hospitality. The room given has a great view overseeing a big lake right from the middle. Livin (A name for New Zealander, I suppose) offered great hospitality for us and even treated us a VIP favour by giving an in room slipper.. thank you.. if you are lucky you can even spot a double rainbow…
Superb.. love Queenstown and Mercure Resort..
Also Accor membership is usable here.. bravo..

Facilities: The resort has complete facilities, a good environment, and a large golf course. The hotel rooms are average, American style.
Hygiene: The hygiene of New Zealand hotels is good.
Environment: Really good! There are also many foreigners staying here, all of whom come to play golf on vacation.
Service: Not bad!

When you stay at Waiorau Homestead in Cardrona, you'll be near ski lifts and 11 minutes by foot from Cardrona Distillery. This luxury bed & breakfast is 5.5 mi (8.8 km) from Cardrona Alpine Resort and 5.7 mi (9.1 km) from Valley View Quad Chair.
After a day on the slopes, enjoy recreational amenities including an outdoor pool and a hot tub. This bed & breakfast also features complimentary wireless internet access, ski storage, and wedding services. Guests can get around on the shuttle (surcharge), which operates within 30 km.
Mingle with other guests at the complimentary reception, held daily. A complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast is served daily from 6:30 AM to 9 AM.
Featured amenities include luggage storage, laundry facilities, and a library. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request), and free self parking is available onsite.

Location: The hotel is located close to the Queenstown airport but approximately 15 mins away from Queenstown itself.
Parking: There is no parking bays at the Hilton (only valet) itself but it shares with Doubletree which is limited. Due to some maintenance work, level P2 was closed off and had to park in a reserved slot for the night. Cost of parking is NZ$ 16 per night.
Rooms: This is where my issue lies, the room temp is centrally managed and it was freezing at night especially with the floor to ceiling windows. Had to go to the front desk for portable heater and extra blankets on the 1st night. Bathroom is non-heated (with tiled floors) so extra cold in there. In most places we stayed in NZ, the bathrooms had heated lamps overhead for comfort. I requested the accessible room for mom and it was provided as requested although the location of the room was on one end of the building which is a distance to walk.
Food: Breakfast was a good selection and ran from 630 to 1030am.

The hotel's facilities and environment are very good. The only thing that makes me angry is that when we checked in, the waiter asked us where we were from. The answer was China. The service attitude suddenly became bad, the smile disappeared, and the room we were given was in the corner with obstructed view.

Overall, it's decent. The view from the window offers a distant panorama of snow-capped mountains. The location is quite convenient for getting around, but the hotel has limited parking spaces, which isn't ideal for self-driving tourists exploring New Zealand's South Island. Although the underground car park has two or three levels, it was always full when we drove down. The hotel charges for parking daily, but if you arrive late, you'll often find no available spots and will need to find alternative parking yourself.
Most of Queenstown's attractions are nearby, with the cruise activity center less than 1 km away. It seemed that Queenstown required the least amount of driving during our South Island road trip, making its convenience excellent.

It's a very nice hotel with a friendly owner, large rooms, complete facilities, clean and sanitary, good location, convenient parking and cheap price. I highly recommend it to everyone.

HHualunchipingguoThis hotel probably has the best view in Queenstown. It is very beautiful and quiet. The non-dairy desserts in the restaurant are also delicious. This is the best hotel I stayed in during this trip to New Zealand.
