It is the best hotel in Mandalay! Being in Myanmar before I already knew that hotels would be expensive, but I never regretted paying the price of staying in Mingalar Mandalay! Will still choose this one over others!

Este belo e limpo hotel com piscina na margem do rio fica numa localização um pouco afastada, o que torna o deslocamento um pouco difícil. Sua localização remota o torna tranquilo e encantador. Você pode alugar uma bicicleta elétrica no hotel, e carros elétricos fazem o transporte da recepção até as cabanas. Seu quarto é limpo diariamente, com troca de lençóis e toalhas, e o café é servido. Os funcionários são simpáticos. Há um restaurante no local, mas os preços são de quatro a cinco vezes mais altos do que em qualquer café próximo, e a comida é apenas razoável. Há água quente no chuveiro. No geral, é um bom lugar se você quiser apenas passar um tempo em paz e tranquilidade. Se você busca férias mais ativas, precisará pegar um táxi e depois usar uma bicicleta elétrica, seja pedalando ou alugando uma.

I'm so glad I splurged and chose this hotel—it's worth every penny! It's right among ancient temples, within walking distance and visible from the restaurant and pool (there are two pools, the second one is large, perfect for swimming). There's an observation tower nearby, from which you can watch the sunrise and sunset for $5. The grounds are spacious and decorated in traditional style, with carved wooden decorations. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and they were so helpful with any questions we had! They checked us in early upon arrival, helped us buy bus tickets to Yangon, exchange money, and booked a tuk-tuk for a day of temple-hopping (the driver was excellent, taking us along his own route and showing us even more than I had planned). We had two delicious meals at the restaurant. We also enjoyed the breakfast. In the evenings, they set out tables by the pool and host concerts. I highly recommend it!

Отель хороший. Чистое белье ,в номере чисто ,есть все необходимое. Чайник,фен,холодильник. Прекрасно расположен. Обслуживание супер,вежливые и добрые персонал. Завтраки не очень на наш вкус ,но поесть можно.

Были в марте на 3 дня, этот отель жемчужина! Потрясающие виды на реку, красивая ухоженная территория с обилием цветов и раскидистых деревьев, большой бассейн, очень доброжелательный персонал, может где то не очень понимают в Английском, но всегда стараются помочь чем могут. Отель не новый, скорее остатки былой роскоши, но это только добавляет ему шарма. Очень мало людей, отдохнули душой после шумных городов.

Большой отель со всем необходимым, можно заказать еду в номер. Хороший бассейн на крыше. Персонал всегда готов помочь, хотя не очень хорошо говорит по-английски, и тут необходима настойчивость. Курение разрешено практически везде. Рядом рынок с едой и прочим.

Excellent staff and nice simple spa. Restaurant average and expensive but breakfast is good. Grounds beautiful but not well maintained, pool is rarely cleaned and garbage never removed. Overall a nice hotel but for the price, a bit more is expected!

Great
OOlgaZzA luxurious resort right on the banks of the Irrawaddy. Beautiful, well-maintained grounds, a large and clean pool, soft lawns, and helpful staff. Excellent and inexpensive spa. Downsides: breakfasts are weak. The Sakura rooms we stayed in were very modest, though clean, with old towels and peeling plaster. 5 for the grounds, 3 for the rooms and breakfast.

GGuest UserDon't expect anything from the local Five Star News. The hotel's facilities and decoration are similar to those of ordinary hotels. When checking in, the floor is not air-conditioned and it is very stuffy. The check-in process is also a long time and it feels that the management is chaotic. The breakfast is hardly delicious. The only thing that is commendable is that the high-rise view is very good, overlooking the city, after all, it is almost the tallest building in Mandalay.

YYEE THENGI stayed at Holidays Pier Hotel for 2 days during my business trip on November 2025 . The room was beautifully and clean. The location was perfect with city view. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. However, the air conditioning in our room was a bit noisy. Overall, it was a delightful experience.

BBorodina DariaWe stayed for three days in March, and this hotel is a gem! Stunning river views, beautifully maintained grounds with an abundance of flowers and spreading trees, a large pool, and very friendly staff. They may not speak much English, but they always try to help in any way they can. The hotel isn't new, more like a remnant of former luxury, but that only adds to its charm. There were very few people there, so we were able to relax after the bustling city life.
