I brought my grandson to Shanghai and we stayed at the Grand Hyatt Jin Mao for two nights. It was excellent value for money! The front desk staff gave us a room on the 77th floor and also included executive lounge access for meals. We could have used the 83rd-floor lounge from 6:30 AM to 8 PM daily, though we were out sightseeing most of the time and didn't get to eat there. The views from the 77th floor were absolutely stunning, especially at night, with the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and Shanghai Tower right before our eyes. Getting around was super convenient too, with Metro Line 14 right downstairs. With such a great location and amazing hotel service, I'll definitely be staying at the Grand Hyatt Jin Mao again if I get the chance.

This time I stayed in Lujiazui for the convenience of dining and travel. Among similar room types, the value for money was high, especially since we needed a suite with family. After consulting the hotel in advance, we chose the Pujiang Building (old building) based on our personal needs. You can see the river from there, although the suite's view was a bit lacking. However, the swimming pool on the fourth floor and the executive lounge both offered excellent views. The new building overlooks the 'Three Piece Set' (referring to the three iconic skyscrapers), but I personally prefer the style of the old building. Both buildings have takeaway lockers downstairs, which is very convenient. The New Year's desserts were both beautiful and delicious, and the staff provided a lot of assistance. The room was very comfortable, allowing us to sleep in until we naturally woke up... We didn't leave until the afternoon. Whenever I stay in Lujiazui, I'll choose this place.

Everything was perfect, from the front desk staff, garage and ground parking attendants, those issuing parking vouchers and inputting license plates, to the housekeeping on each floor, and the restaurant and executive lounge service teams—everyone was friendly, polite, and patient. During the day, doormen in European-style uniforms assisted with car drop-offs and luggage handling. The dining options were plentiful and of high quality. Both the hotel's interior and exterior, as well as the room condition, exceeded expectations. The suite was furnished to feel like a home, complete with various furniture and amenities. The executive lounge environment was also very elegant and comfortable, and the hotel is close to the ferry and cruise terminals. As a Bund hotel, it offers excellent value for money overall and is a perfect place to enjoy beautiful scenery, delicious food, and unwind.

Amara Shanghai exceeded my expectations. From check-in to check-out, everything felt smooth and well organized. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the hotel had a stylish, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were attentive and professional, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend Amara Shanghai and would love to return in the future.

The location is a bit off from the middle, and the nearest subway exit is also not that close. Tha building is 25 yrs old, it shows in the quality of the rooms and the interior of the revolving restaurant. The room is small and simple, however the cleanliness was not the best. I found some hairs around in the bathroom. Also the shower was dirty a bit. They give you a very simple slipper, 4 bottles of water/day, toothbrush+toothpaste, there is a waterheater, some tea and instant coffee in thr room, safe, iron, a bathrobe so the room is well equiped. The view is extremly good if you are in the upper rooms. Mine was on lvl46. The wifi is bad, also one of my e-mail accounts got hacked not soon after logging on on it, so DO NOT USE the hotel wifi! The breakfast is good, there is a lot to choose from and the view is extremly good.

The Disney shuttle only runs once in the early morning; it would be great if they could add one in the late morning and one in the afternoon.

One of the best place to stay! Owners were very nice and accommodating. The place is not so like the photos posted but room is cozy to stay. We also experienced harvesting chillies and sweet potatoes which the owner gladly cooked for lunch. It was sweet and yummy! We also had a great time roaming around since they had a motorbike you could borrow. Over all, it's a nice experience if you want a quite and peaceful days off! 谢谢

Excellent reception desk assistants, translating through phone app. English / Chinese Coffee /tea even massage chairs in reception. Room: Fantastic Beds were huge & comfortable - we had an upgrade to a larger room. The shower and shower toiletries were so refreshing. Towels were lovely soft & clean. Breakfast was the best I have had for a long time. Lived the rice, fried eggs, noodles , fruit vegetables. Even clams one morning. Great variety of drinks. The chief and staff were very happy & helpful. Extremely clean. I used the laundry room which also had a tumble dryer. This was useful due to travelling on to Beijing afterwards. The other family rooms have slides and are duplex. Sue the swimming pool is great in the summer. Excellent price , excellent choice for Families going to Disneyland and other local trips. Loved being able to go along the local street to see Shanghai local food, shops and life. Seems to be a family run business which is lovely to support. Location is great for the local shops , food, 7/11 supermarket for snacks & drinks Restaurants and food for locals which was delicious and a great price. Shuttle bus excellent. Taxi ( Didi) was £3 back from Disneyland . £11 to Shanghai Greenhouse Gardens ( evening ticket £5.40) this is an amazing trip not to be missed.

This old-school five-star hotel under the InterContinental Hotels Group really lived up to its reputation. The location is super convenient, right on Nanjing Road, the 'Paris of the East,' making it easy to check in even after enjoying Shanghai's nightlife. I especially loved the mousse cake at breakfast 🍰, absolutely delicious. The front desk staff were incredibly professional and welcoming, truly exceptional!

Although the room was small, it was very well-appointed. From the window, I could see iconic landmarks like Shanghai Tower and the Oriental Pearl, and Jing'an Temple was right in front of me. The service was standard and reliable, always responsive to requests. Breakfast had limited options but was exquisite. The in-room dining service was very convenient. The wonton noodles I ordered the first time were exceptionally delicious, so I ordered them again today for lunch, but the taste and texture were significantly different, and I'm not sure why. The cuisine at the second-floor restaurant, Yuanyuan, was good and reasonably priced. The service there wasn't overly enthusiastic but was very thorough.
