Este é o lugar perfeito para os amantes da natureza que também desejam conforto e luxo de verdade. A pousada é decorada com requinte e foi um prazer sentar com um café e observar antílopes-arbustivos, javalis, kudus e todos os tipos de pássaros vindo para o jardim. Caminhando pela pousada, cheguei perto de girafas, zebras e muito mais. Foi de tirar o fôlego. Fiquei duas noites maravilhosas e desfrutei de deliciosas refeições caseiras, uma cama incrivelmente confortável e banhos quentes todos os dias. Espero voltar no futuro!

The hotel has beautiful grounds and super friendly staff, especially in the restaurant. Stayed in an executive room which was clean with a four poster bed. The AC in winter time was a welcome addition and the fact that it was switched on before I checked in was thoughtful. In general, these rooms could do with a bit of general maintenance - ceilings look old and worn and it was really difficult to open and close the door. Breakfast catered to all tastes. For a stay in Modimolle, Shangri-La is a good choice.

Este hotel superou todas as nossas expectativas em termos de qualidade, luxo e serviço. O hotel fica a uma curta distância de carro do aeroporto local e é perfeito para safáris. Usamos o hotel como base para visitar diferentes partes do KNP. Gostamos muito da estadia e adoraríamos voltar. As instalações do hotel são excelentes e muito confortáveis. Altamente recomendado.

Recomendo muito, muito, muito este lodge.
Não só nós, mas também o nosso guia de safári nos disse que ”este é um dos melhores lodges da região”, e temos certeza disso.
O proprietário Ruan e sua esposa são pessoas muito boas, amigáveis e gentis, e nos cuidaram o tempo todo.
Eles organizaram desde várias atividades, como safáris até transporte.
O quarto e o restaurante são muito sofisticados e aconchegantes, passamos um dia relaxante lá.
O que devo dizer é que as refeições foram ótimas. Adorei o ensopado de rabo de boi e o tradicional bife de cordeiro que nos serviram.
Definitivamente, recomendamos este lodge se meus amigos visitarem Kuruger e voltarem.

CCMVX9Exquisite location with such friendly staff that stand at the ready to help and cater to every whim. Booking a regular room is recommended as the larger room has a door which borders the main guest area. As such, it is extremely noisy. This room also looks out on the main patio with no inner curtains with the result that there’s no privacy. A regular room offers the same level of comfort, but with added privacy on the deck area and its further away from the main guest area which offers peace and quiet. All rooms look out onto a beautiful valley with proverbial four poster beds shaped as elephant tusks. The only negative were the old, lumpy pillows, which need urgent replacement. The chef cooks traditional African meals which were delicious, but for this type of venue, needs perhaps a bit more finesse in terms of having better options for a continental breakfast and enquiring with guests as to how they would prefer their meat cooked beforehand. A word of warning to coffee lovers, there’s only instant coffee, so better go and enjoy the hospitality armed with your own!

when we arrive, the reception experience was very poor. No Information was given about the lodge or breakfast until I asked, and we were not even accompanied to our room. The condition of the room was disappointing. The shower and floors were dirty to the point where you could not shower without wearing flip flops. Housekeeping was also below standard. During our 2-night stay, the room was not properly cleaned, the bins were not emptied, dishes were not washed properly and both the bathroom and floors remained dirty. Only the beds were made. This was a very disappointing experience.

GGuest UserWe celebrated our 2-years anniversary at Sausage Tree and we truly enjoyed every bits of it from all the thrills of game drives, to connecting with the nature, to enjoying the peace and breeze, to learn about South Africa’s culture, to making new friends and to being pampered very well by their fantastic hospitality!
So lucky of us to catch all Big 5 on the morning of our anniversary and with an Elephant appearing right in front of my doorstep at night! It makes the whole trip so much memorable! Thank you, Polite, Themba, Life, Thendy and Karine for the memories!

HHAL9000xThis was the first stop of our trip to South Africa and I still miss it in retrospect.
It really exceeded expectations to meet such a hotel in Kruger.
At first, I felt that the hotel pictures were very good. I didn't expect the location to be very good. I often saw small animals walking slowly outside the fence. The experience was very special. (Comfortable forgot to take more photos hahaha)
Breakfast and dinner are delicious, the food is attentive, completely unfunctory.
The staff is also very friendly and sincere, making people feel taken care of rather than served.
The owner of the hotel gave us a lot of practical and pertinent suggestions, which helped us a lot.
The overall price is also very reasonable and the price is very high.
This is a place that people would like to go back to, highly recommended!!!

AAmyKingfisher Creek Safari Lodge was AMAZING! It was difficult to know where to book in this area and I couldn't have selected better. Annie is a world class host and the staff are wonderful. The lodge was clean, the amenities were top notch, the food was divine. Annie helped us book all of our activities including transfers and curated meals around our plans. The grounds are beautiful, all her products, lodging and food are high quality and I dream to return. A beautiful stay all around.

SSarahThis is the perfect place for nature lovers who also want real comfort and luxury. The lodge is exquisitely decorated and it was a pleasure to sit with a coffee and watch bush bucks, warthogs, kudu and all types of birds come into the garden. Walking around the lodge I came close to giraffes, zebras and more. It was breathtaking. I stayed for 2 blissful nights and enjoyed delicious home cooked meals, a wonderfully comfortable bed and hot baths each day. I hope to come back in future!

CchanThis hotel exceeded all our expectations in terms of quality, luxury and service. The hotel is a short drive from the local airport and is perfect for safari. We used it as a base to visit different sections of KNP. We really enjoyed the stay and would love to come back. The facilities at the hotel are excellent and very comfortable. Highly recommended.

EElenapashEverything was top-notch. We received a very warm welcome, and the grounds were beautiful and well-maintained. The rooms were cozy and had everything we needed. Tea, coffee, and water were available in unlimited supply throughout our stay. Two safaris were included in the room rate. Our guide (Sidney) did his best to show us the diverse wildlife of South Africa. Special thanks to the chefs – everything was delicious and cooked with passion, especially the evening barbecue. We also want to give a big shout-out to the manager who greeted us; she was always ready to help with our requests and resolve any issues. We would gladly return to you again because you gave us an unforgettable experience!
