"Estou falando honestamente e sinceramente sobre este lugar. Começarei pela equipe, pois eles merecem os maiores elogios. São incrivelmente simpáticos e gentis, e se não fosse por eles, eu teria deixado o hotel por motivos que explicarei mais tarde. Quero agradecer a todos os funcionários, especialmente ao trio encantador formado por Habiba, Aya e Amal. Elas realmente amam servir de coração, não apenas como funcionárias. Desejo-lhes muita felicidade. No entanto, o lugar não é tão limpo quanto parece nas fotos, pois é um prédio antigo. Você não encontrará o mesmo nível de limpeza que encontraria em prédios modernos. O prédio tem mais de 80 anos, então a limpeza é aceitável considerando a idade. A localização é excelente; tudo fica perto. Porém, há muito barulho de carros por toda parte, o que me fez ir embora. Há outros aspectos positivos e negativos que deixarei vocês conferirem por si mesmos. Obrigada."

"This hotel is located 5 minutes from the airport and is definitely one of the best mid-Price options in the area for a long layover or short stay. The location is NOT great if you want to see the pyramids or museums but great for being near the airport. The pool area is quite nice with a bar next to it and spaces to sunbathe.
The restaurants are decent quality and the flavors are a 7/10. We got the Cesar salad, mixed grill plate, and shrimp soup! The shrimp soup was awesome and everything else was just OK!
The wifi wasn’t strong unfortunately but if you sign up for the ALL benefits you can get faster wifi for free too.
There is a convenience store and souvenir shops in case you forgot a gift for someone too."

"Reservei duas camas de solteiro na Ctrip, mas me deram uma cama de casal. Mais tarde, o hotel insistiu que não havia camas de solteiro, então tive que dividir o quarto com meus amigos. Fiquei em um quarto para 4 pessoas e o café da manhã foi fornecido. O quarto ficava em um andar alto e tive que subir um lance de escadas. O quarto era relativamente grande, com varanda, mas havia apenas um banheiro, então nos revezamos para lavar, e o fluxo de água não era forte. A roupa de cama estava soltando bolinhas e o ar-condicionado não esquentava bem. A vista era ampla e havia uma escola no andar de baixo. Também era perto da minha embaixada. O café da manhã tinha uma grande variedade de sucos, café, iogurte, leite, pão e sopa. A equipe de serviço foi educada e respondeu rapidamente à bagagem. Eles também se preocuparam com a próxima parada. Espero que a Ctrip possa fazer um bom trabalho de atracação na próxima vez."

"I stayed at this hotel five times. Family for the location the fact that it has a swimming pool. Food here for breakfast was not too good because it upset my stomach. I like the staff the rooms are good but some of the views are just terrible. Views of Rocky vacant lots. If you can get a view of the Egyptian museum or the pool. The views can some time kind of depress me. this hotel has a swimming pool and a gym and after a day and Cairo you need to kind of decompress in a pool. I would stay here again this is my go-to hotel in Cairo. I paid $125 a night including taxes with breakfast. Not crazy about breakfast so be careful what you eat."

RRaypanDon't go in winter if there's no heating; it was 10 degrees outside and 15 degrees inside. During my two-day stay, the first day the warm water was around 40 degrees. On the second day, after I kept urging them, they finally fixed it to just warm enough, but still not hot water. The decor looks like it's 15 years old. I came here because it said it opened in 2019. The service was indeed good, so I can't give a bad review for that. However, I spent two and a half hours over two days waiting for repairs and service. In summary, it's a five-star hotel with three-and-a-half-star facilities.

GGuest UserThis Marriott hotel is located in Cairo Airport's Terminal 3, which is incredibly convenient. It's only a five-minute walk from the hotel to the airport via a dedicated elevator and skywalk. We arrived much earlier than our check-in time, but they were able to accommodate us without any extra charge. The staff in the lobby were all very friendly and helpful, and they even had Chinese-speaking staff available!

MMichele CarlesiUnfortunately, this time I experienced a few issues with the room. The tap was clogged and, after it was repaired, the sink became clogged as well. The door was also partly broken and had to be pushed very hard to close properly.
As a business traveler, I usually have breakfast early in the morning. At 6:00 a.m., however, the breakfast room was already crowded with a large group of very noisy tourists, which made the experience less pleasant.
Despite these inconveniences, our stay overall was still pleasant.

AAnonymous UserIn general, it is not bad for me to stay in a single room with a common bathroom for 10 nights.
Above all, I would like to express my gratitude to the staff's efforts to manage the City Hostel clean which is too old and out fashioned building.
* Location & Transportation
Without noise, it is the best location to stay. It is located at 2 2-minute walk distance from Attaba subway station that connects to the Ramsis Railway Station and the Egypt Museum, only 1~3 stops away, charging 6 EGP per way. Of course, you can go to both by walk in 20 minutes. It means you can also enjoy the Nile riverside which is close to the museum.
And it is a 2-minute walk distance from the Attaba market which is the biggest public market in Cairo and so many locals visit to buy their livelihoods stuff at a cheap price.
In addition, you can also walk to the Al Azhar Mosque and Khan El-Khalili traditional market in 30 minutes, and St. Marc Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in AL Azbakeya in 10 minutes
Two problems I experienced are firstly the noi⁹sy from 8 am to 3 am outside the building due to market area and cars' horns. It took 3 days for me to adapt it. Any room in the hostel cannot escape it without changing the windows to soundproof ones. If you are sensitive to sound, it is better to find other lodges in a residential area or modernized ones.
Secondly, its location on the Uber taxi map and other maps is not accurate, so drivers have some problems in finding the city hostel. I have to meet them in front of the KFC next to the Attaba subway station. The signboard of the hotel is too small to recognize it.
* Building and room conditions
Like many other buildings in Cairo, the hostel building is old and shabby. The interior design and facilities are also outdated. However, the staff manages it so clean, particularly a common toilet and shower room.
It is quite convenient a washstand in each room.
However, it is bad there is no electronic kettle to boil water in a room or a common space. I could not enjoy my tea or coffee time at any time. I have to ask for hot drink water every morning when receiving breakfast, and store it in my tumbler.
It will be better to provide a tea or coffee service area in the hostel.
* Cleanness & Safety
Cleanness and safety are very good. I have no issue with this.
* Services
There is no basic service that most guesthouses provide in general: toilet paper and drink water.
Wifi is too weak to use the internet.
Other services like laundry are satisfied.
* Others
During my stay, I couldn't enjoy having an exchange time with other travelers. I think it is because there is no reason to stay in a common space where only sofas and a table are. Largely guesthouse provides a commonplace where guests enjoy better the internet or drinks including tea or coffee and foods, which makes guests meet each other naturally and structurally.
In conclusion, if the hostel provides basic services like toilet paper and commonplace with drink water and electronic kettles, it will be much better.
And it is necessary to change its signboard so that is more recognizable.
Except issues I mentioned above, it is a very good budget lodge.

GGuest UserI caught the early flight to the airport. I had a few simple breakfasts and went to the lobby. After waiting for the arrival of the shuttle bus, I found that I accidentally left the passport bag and there was cash in the restaurant bag. After a while, the staff helped me deliver it very much. But later, when I got off the plane and exchanged money, I found that the cash inside must have lost the cash banknote of 250💶. The whole passport bag in Egypt was with me all the way. I lost almost ten minutes at this moment, and then unfortunately I had to end my trip to Egypt. I have left a message to the hotel to adjust the monitoring, but I don't know if there is any feedback and whether it can be found. At present, people have been to Tunisia to play, and the cash euros for the hotel are not enough！
赶早班机去机场，简单吃了几口早餐去大厅等接送大巴到时后，发现不小心遗落护照包在餐厅包里有现金，不一会儿有工作人员帮忙送了过来很感谢，但是后来下飞机换钱的时候却发现里面的现金定丢失了现金纸币250💶。整个护照包埃及全程都在身边，就这一会儿丢了差不多十分钟，然后很遗憾得结束了埃及之旅。 已经给酒店留言调监控但是不知道有没有反馈，能不能找回来。目前人到突尼斯 玩了，付酒店的现金欧元都不够了，晕😵💫！

GGuest UserWe stayed here for two nights on two separate bookings, We had requested on the first day of check-in to join the beds, but they had not done it on the first day, and neither on the second day. They came and handled it at 8:30pm on the second night. The TV was not working on the first night and they told me they would let the IT department fix it on the second day, but that did not happen either. When we were leaving for our day out on the second day, we told the reception to handle everything while we are away, I guess they completely forgot.

* فريق الاستقبال (مؤمن، جهاد، وأمينة) على تعاونهم واحترافيتهم العالية في إجراءات الدخول، واستجابتهم السريعة والممتازة طول اليوم. وشكر خاص لمديرهم الرائع أستاذ كريم.
* فريق خدمة الغرف بالكامل على مجهودهم واهتمامهم بكل التفاصيل.
* وشكر كبير جداً ومخصوص لـ فريق المطعم، من أول الويترز اللي كانوا في منتهى الذوق والاهتمام، لحد الشيفات المحترفين جداً، بقيادة الشيف المبدع حسني أمين.
وأكيد طالما كل التفاصيل دي هايلة وممتازة كده، يبقى ده انعكاس لإدارة احترافية، واعية، ونشيطة، متمثلة في المدير المحترف والمحترم أستاذ محمد عبد العال.
بجد الفندق ده ساب عندي وعند عيلتي أحسن انطباع ممكن عن سلسلة فنادق توليب، وبالأخص فرع المدينة الأولمبية الرائع ده. تجربة ممتازة وبرشحه بقوة!”

GGuest UserThis was the best hotel on my Egypt trip. However, it's still a far cry from luxury five-star hotels back home. The breakfast wasn't great; there was very little variety. Perhaps due to cultural differences, you have to order drinks from the waitstaff, which was a bit inconvenient. The funniest thing is that the person at the front desk here had the best English of anyone I met during my entire Egypt trip, haha.
