Excellent hotel, good location near the station and football ground. Nice room and great bar which was open late which was handy as we celebrated a very rare Saints win🤪👏👏 Only slight criticism was the breakfast was a bit expensive at £18. Would definitely stay again

Good size room, could do more with maintenance of place, especially with the cleaning of the room, nice breakfast, like the bar area as well, nice selection of drinks, good swimming pool and sauna. Great location no far from the city centre. This place with a modern decoration and cleanliness can go up to a 5 star. Lovely staff, always ready to help you to get what you need. Definitely will be back again and will bring my kids too.

Good location, was able to check bags in a little earlier than 3pm with helped us out LOADS! Room was nice, had air con which was fantastic as was a very hot day. Only thing I can fault is that it was a family room (which we needed) but the beds was quiet high my youngest is 3 & he fell out the bed in the night & hurt himself. Could do with those side rails that you can slip under the mattress to stop the kids from falling out. Partfrom that couldn’t really fault them. Oh also, it’s was LOVELY AND QUIET the whole time we was there, which made the trip as when you’ve had a busy day out and about the last thing you want is to be able to hear everybody else. But there was NO EXTERNAL NOISE!

Nice clean hotel. Central to bars and restaurants.  Walking distance to football ground.   Very good choice for breakfast, catered for allergies.  Would return and recommend

A very foggy cold night after a busy day it was nice to be welcomed by a friendly and informative receptionist. One nights stay room with small balcony overlooking the golf course and an incredible heater. Water pressure in shower is low but water hot The rooms feel they would benefit from being updated a few ******* . *TV remote didn't turn TV off had to get up and pop hand behind set and turn off at socket. **The hair on the bath definitely not mine! **No obvious hairdryer. ***Room Service called twice extn not answered went via reception transferred to the bar salmon cream cheese on brown ordered arrived quickly unfortunately on white bread. Pink G&T delicious. Breakfast. Warm welcome and explanation offered from team. Great variety and the hot food was hot. **** The team brief at the bar perhaps could have been carried out elsewhere. Checkout painless.

Impressive old Mill with working wheel featured inside. We were in the top floor of the main building and whilst not the most up to date bedroom accommodation it was clean and comfortable with workable facilities. Really friendly and helpful staff and great breakfast buffet with both continental and full English breakfast options. Would definitely recommend and worked for us due to location to friends and family. Great value for money.

The room is generally like a domestic express hotel, the interior is still clean, but the breakfast is too bad, there is nothing delicious, opposite the pier, no people, here is a country, empty.

Small double room, very soft mattress, bathroom was tiny, no surface for your washbag etc, very tatty bathroom suite, sink cracked from top to bottom, shower leaked so badly that the flooring was warped and leaked onto bedroom carpet leaving wet patch after each use.

Booked a stay at the jockey club rooms and also bought tickets at the races. Parked and left our car at the jockey club rooms car park and caught the shuttle bus to the race course. Returned after our lovely day at the races and checked in. We had a beautiful room overlooking the gardens. The rooms have nice furnishings, very classy. The bathroom was huge. With a large bath with shower and a separate shower and double sinks and huge mirror. Loads of hot water and strong water pressure. Breakfast a very classy affair too. Served in a lovely room. Lots of continental choices and cooked menu. We had yoghurt, fruit compote and granola, juice, toast, pastries, omelette, and smoked haddock. I love the place, its so full of history. I need to go again as i didnt have enough time to take it all in. Can’t wait.

The bedroon and beds was very nice We were in a little courtyard area so had no hotel noise to worry about
