I came here with my friends during the summer holiday, specifically for their restaurant which is on the must-try list. While waiting for a table, we found out they also have guest rooms. Hotel guests get a 10% discount and priority seating, so after seeing the rooms, we decisively booked one. Honestly, both their restaurant and guest rooms are excellent. The summer prices were also very reasonable, and the staff were all very polite and enthusiastic. It was our first time in Yangshuo, and they even recommended some fun attractions. The hotel can also book tickets for various scenic spots, so it felt like we didn't really need to plan our route much as they had everything sorted for us. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I bring my family next time. It's very close to the riverside and West Street, both within walking distance. The main thing is, their restaurant is truly amazing! Don't miss it if you come to Yangshuo!

A very nice little hotel very close to the river and the city center. The hotel manager didn't talk english but we talked via WeChat and everything went smoothly, he recomended us some trips to do in the Yangshuo area and restaurants to eat. Very recomendable. The rooms were big, clean, confortable and have AC. Totally recommended. And has a mirror floor on the attic for everybody to take pictures! I almost forgot, there is a washing machine!

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! It's hands down the best value-for-money guesthouse I've ever booked. The owner is incredibly kind, and the hotel offers a complete range of services, including meals and electric scooter rentals. The rooms are spotless and well-maintained, and the decor shows great attention to detail – even disposable toilet seat covers and alcohol spray are provided in the bathroom. There's also a small storage box by the entrance for odds and ends. The breakfast is delicious, especially the noodles cooked by the owner. The hotel has two lovely cats, which my kids adored. It's also really comfortable just to relax and chill in the guesthouse lobby. One thing to note is the location: it's much more convenient if you're riding an electric scooter, as arriving by car might be a bit more troublesome.

I just had to write a review for this wonderful hotel. My stay here was absolutely perfect, largely thanks to one person. First off, the location is ideal. It's located very near West Street, which made it incredibly convenient to grab food, check out the party scene, and easily hail a DiDi. You're right in the heart of the action without being in a noisy building. The room itself was so cozy and comfortable. After a long day of exploring, the hot shower was a lifesaver, and I appreciated that they provided complete toiletries—one less thing to worry about packing! Now, for the highlight of my stay: the guy at the reception. He was incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment I arrived. He truly went above and beyond to help me. One evening, he even sat down with me over a cup of tea and helped me plan my itineraries, offering fantastic local tips. He arranged carpooling services for me, which made getting to the various sights so much easier and more affordable. My entire stay in Yangshuo was smoother and more enjoyable because of him. That guy is 1000% great! Kudos to him and to the hotel for having such a fantastic employee. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

Booked the 6 bed dorm, it was full for the 2 nights I stayed here. The bed was so comfy and firm. I had the upper bed and the stairs were thin and tall so each steps felt like I was climbing a rock. The curtains weren't long enough to cover the whole bed completely, you could see the gap of the room and wasn't very blackout, but it's nice for the aircon to come thru without feeling too hot. The power socket was quite annoying, you had to make sure you don't use the travel adaptor which is a brick because it will not fit under the bed light. Room is very cleaned. The bathroom is cleaned too, but the door had issues. The employees are very nice, speaks both English and Chinese and very helpful too. They can also arrange day trips or the river cruise, and honestly if I knew in advance I would had chose Guilin first then Yangshuo so I can join a tour instead. Location is pretty close to Guilin Station - a 15min walk.

An absolute gem of a place to stay! If you're reading this, you should stop, book a trip to China, and stay in this hotel! 😅 Seriously, one of the loveliest hotels and locations I've ever stayed in. A boutique hotel for the price of a budget one, in the very authentic village of Lujia, which is pretty much a private oasis of calm surrounded by water and those lovely Guilin limestone pinnacles. I just couldn't believe the amazing view I was waking up to there each morning from my room. The accommodation is only a short Didi ride away from central Guilin, and Guilinbei and Guilinxi High Speed Rail Stations. The host was highly responsive and very helpful, and the Chinese breakfast was just delicious. Added bonuses were the free pick-up when staying at least two nights, and the free laundry service. Highly highly recommended.

Location of hotel is very convenient for travelers who take the tourist bus from either Chungzuo, Nanning or from Detian waterfalls scenic area. The room we booked had a nice view of the fields and karst mountains. What a beautiful sight to behold indeed. During the day, it can get noisy with all the comings and goings in the village and all around but at night, it was very quiet. The rooftop terrace was very nice and not busy when we were there. Breakfast was enjoyable with steamed buns, corn, soup noodles and boiled sweet potatoes- a healthy start for a very busy day. The very nice lady in charge of breakfast offered us breakfast on our check in day (we arrived at 10:30) and made sure we had enough to eat before sending us off to explore! We had never met a B&B operator who was so caring and generous. On our check out day, even though she was still busy with guests, she rushed out to bid us a fond farewell and a safe onward trip. Front desk and cleaning team were all very friendly, always smiling and helpful. All in all, a very warm and pleasant stay at Mingshi Scenic Area.

Couldn’t have had a better stay!!! The owner of this place is so kind and helpful — came to pick us up, gave us all the information necessary to move around, was always there to help. Kindest person I’ve encountered in my trip. Thank you! The hotel has a restaurant so you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner if needed. We had breakfast and dinner there — not only is it very convenient, but the food was delicious. And the views of the terrace are top tier, plus super quiet. So lovely. Finally, the room is such great value for the price. Clean and spacious, walking distance from Longji Rice Terraces. I trully recommend to stay here, I honestly have no bad words. Thank you again!😊
