My husband and I were in Morro de São Paulo to celebrate our honeymoon. As it was important for us to celebrate this occasion we decided not to look too much for money, so we decided to stay at Minha Louca Paixão. At arrivals we were given two glass bottles as the property has a sustainable approach and we liked it! The receptionist that checked us in was a bit unmotivated, not sure is her usual approach or she’s just like that. Anyway, she told us that the water in the mini bar in the room (in cans, specifying they were blue and orange - still and sparkling) were included in the price. Unfortunately at check-out we have been charged for them even though we explained we were told they were free. We booked one of the basic rooms as they were too expensive. Despite being the “cheapest” option the rate is overpriced or, at least, for what we got. The room was not very comfortable, one socket close to the bed (and when we asked at reception for an extension lead we were told to enjoy our stay. Even if it was a joke, in my opinion must be avoided as it is our business what we do during our holidays. All the other sockets were occupied for the devices in the room (fridge, television, etc) The lady that was close to the reception (from the housekeeping team I guess) heard our request and went to check if they had one, no luck. For the money we paid we were expecting them to try to find one. In the room we found a welcome card (not sure was just specific for us as it wasn’t mentioning anything about our honeymoon and a voucher for 2 free drinks). The glasses of the windows were dirty. In the balcony there was no hammock (on their website there is written that all the rooms have one). When asked to reception we were told that some rooms might not have it and then told us that somebody would have brought one. No one came. We had to ask again the following morning. The bathroom smelled as damp. The wire of the hairdryer was completely full of mould. The drain of the sink was very slow and the bathroom got blocked more than once. The breakfast was great, all the people working in the restaurant/bar were amazing. We only had an inconvenient with a meal as we asked for a moqueca de camarão and we were charged something else instead. This happened as the online menu was not the same as the one in the restaurant. Luckily this has been sorted at check-out as it was not our mistake. We specifically ordered the mentioned dish and we were not told that was no longer in their menu. The pools are beautiful, however they must have regular maintenance - they were damaged by the passing time. Should the price get lower (we spent over 8,000 R$ for one week) it might be worth going back, otherwise, we won’t recommend it .

We went to this Pousada 3 times now. The staff is always helpful and friendly. It is has been continuously renovated over the years. The breakfast room is now very new, specious and modern. Breakfast has a good variety and is tasty. There is a new part that is being built. The pousada is clean, is very nicely located centrally, but quiet at night. The rooms do need some upgrade, therefore one star less, but this should not keep you from booking there.

The Moon and Sea hostel is a charm, 150 metres from the Millionary Beach, with internal parking, and I leave here a tip, careful with the car's roof baggage. The green is dominated by a beautiful garden with a large amount of Desert Roses and air orchids, and is already in the indoor of the hostel with a natural inclusion experience. The hotel has 25 units between flats and houses for families, some with views to the pool. Our super comfortable room, with cable TV, fridge, air conditioning, internet, balcony with network and spacious bathroom. All staff are very nice, always have a lunch box at the reception, and the guest serves lunches and drinks. Wake up in this hostel with the birds singing, I was a little disappointed with breakfast, I had already read so many praises in Google's recommendations and my own, I didn't have much luck, I think it was a laps. The museum of the house of Jorge Amado, the old Cabare Bataclán, the bar Vesuvio, the cathedral of São Sebastião are in average 6 km away. Jorge Amado Airport is only 2 km and the road station is 9 km, good price, careful staff and excellent cost-benefit, we can say we recommend! Atualmente estamos hospedados na pousada Raízes em Itacaré. A localização é ótima, bem próxima do centro de Itacaré (com fácil acesso a lojas, restaurantes e praias). Gostamos da pousada, pois é uma pousada simples mas muito acolhedora. Equipe da recepção excelente, café da manhã diversificado. Ao se hospedar em Itacaré não deixem de fechar pacotes de passeios com a agência local (indicação Ertour- Guias Lancelotti e Jefferson - eles são excelentes) . Vale muito a pena ( não se limitem apenas as praias urbanas/ a cidade possui muitas belezas que precisam ser exploradas pelos turistas). Fujam da época de chuvas em Itacaré, pois o mal tempo prejudica a ida nos passeios. Para os passeios com trilha, fica a dica: utilizem tênis, pois as trilhas são longas , com obstáculos e se tiver chovido dias antes do passeio , o chinelo costuma escorregar.

Sou cliente antiga da pousada Village. Eu e minha família frequentamos a pousada há mais de 10 anos e eles seguem mantendo a qualidade! O café da manhã é uma delícia, tudo é muito limpo e toda a equipe é muito atenciosa. Bem gerenciada por Cris.

Excellent place to spend with the family, quiet and pacified place, very close to the beach, many restaurants both on the beach during the day and around, markets and shops all very close, Ha is also very close to the airport that made our trip easier. A dress for all of the very charismatic and efficient hostel.

La pousada es sencilla, pero muy confortable y funcional, esta muy bien localizada con unas vistas increíbles de la primera y segunda playa. Las mejores vistas para ver el amanecer. El desayuno buenísimo, muy abundante y además de todo lo que hay, el Sr. Ronaldo prepara al instante huevos fritos, revueltos o tapioca, siempre con mucha amabilidad. Todo el personal muy atento en todo momento. Es un sitio para repetir seguramente.

A pousada está numa localização excelente, o quarto estava limpo, fomos bem tratados pelos funcionários e o ar-condicionado funciona muito bem. O quarto não tem luxo, porém condiz com o valor pago. Com certeza voltaria novamente, já que o valor foi ótimo.

Drika and Bia were super friendly and welcoming. Every morning when my family and I would join for breakfast, they would welcome us us with a great smile. They provided us with their input as it relates to the best spots in the city. The hotel is in the middle of bunch of trees which makes it super cozy and relaxing. The lobby staff is super friendly and always whiling to help. They provided us with mosquitoes repellent and extra mats and towels.

A pousada faz juz ao nome. Todos estão sempre prontos a atender nossos pedidos de bom grado. Todos nos tratam com muito carinho, com muita atenção e dedicação. A higiene dos quartos é ótima, as toalhas são trocadas Todos os dias. O café da manhã varia Todos os dias. Omelete, ovos mexidos cuscuz e tapioca são feitos na hora, é só pedir. A pousada fica próxima à praia da concha e à rua pituba. As piscinas são excelentes. A vista do meu quarto (42) era um deleite! TUDO PERFEITO! SOMOS GRATOS à toda a equipe da pousada vila do dengo. Em breve voltaremos.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Pousada Portal da Concha! It is in the perfect spot. Close to many restaurants and shops that you can easily walk to. The staff was kind and friendly. They gave a lot of information about the surrounding beaches which was very helpful. The pool area was great and even had a small playground which was great for our active toddler. The breakfast was delicious and had great variety. We will definitely be returning to Pousada Portal da Concha during our future visits to Itacaré.

I did not stay at this hotel but was told there was a receptionist that spoke English so I stopped by to ask for recommendations and directions. I felt rather intrusive coming to do this but I thought I would try. My first drop in I met a lady who spoke no English and seemed a bit “put out” that I was not a guest and asking advice but said the “English speaking” receptionist would be in the next day. Sure enough I dropped by and was greeted by Ana Paula and she gave me all the information I needed and treated me like I was a guest and went above and beyond helping me. I have visited Brazil before but have always had trouble communicating. Most hotels say they have English speakers but don’t. I can’t give a review on the rooms but from the outside it seemed quiet and very clean. It looks like they offer an afternoon coffee snack which is a nice thing. When I return I will most definitely stay at Maria Farinha as their rates are on average with where I’m staying and have English speaking employees. So kudos to you and a big thank you to Ana Paula for helping us when she didn’t have to. Will definitely return to stay here at Maria Farinhas and will follow up with full review on the entire stay.
