A fantastic hotel. I usually don’t like staying in big hotels as they tend to be soulless, but this one was really special. From the fresh cucumber face mask to the hot soak for your feet, they are incredibly thoughtful and kind. The service is fantastic. They were really helpful to us as foreigners, highly recommend!

We stayed 4 nights at the Runhu Hotel while we visited all the tourist attractions around Zhangye, including trips to the Gobi desert, Ping Shan Hu (Grand Canyon), the Alien Valley and other sites. The hotel - which is clean, spacious and quiet - has motivated employees who are happy to meet any request. The restaurant is actually very good with reasonable prices the buffet breakfast also was varied and of very good quality. The hotel also provides such services as nightly warm milk deliver and a foot soaking tub with epsom salts with no extra charge. The hotel also referred us to a driver with his own very nice and well kept car. He, Mr. Li, went way above and beyond what anyone could expect. He provided snacks, fruits, water and some sort of local soft drink and arranged tickets in advance where reservations were required and made sure to adapt those reservations when the weather closed one of the sites. His recommendations for local food at or near the various sites were also spot on. While the places were simple (and very inexpensive), the food was honest and good. You can bank on Mr. Li to make sure everything goes along smoothly. All you have to do is tell him what you want to see, or ask him for recommendations, and he will do the rest. In short, splendid hotel for the price with terrific service and if you need a driver, Mr. Li is your guy!

Just completed a wonderful three night stay at the Zhangye Holiday Inn. Perhaps most Silk Road tourists do not spend three nights in Zhangye but we wanted to visit both the popular and more “off the beaten path” historical sites nearby. This Holiday Inn is up to international standards - the staff was very professional, courteous and well trained, the rooms were modern and well-maintained, and even the buffet breakfast restaurant manager spoke English. This is probably one of the few (if not the only) more Westernized hotels in Zhangye) and we had a very good stay and experience in this hotel in Zhangye.

Look at the pictures. The hotel is indeed OK, but the hygiene and details are very poor. I think this level of hotel should not be like this. First of all, the toilet. There are a lot of yellow stains in the toilet and bathroom. OK, if it is said that there are frequent water use, I can barely accept it. Then the mold on the wall and the stains on the exhaust fan, I think the hotel is not cleaned properly. Then there is the bed quilt. P4 is the pillow. There is a hole directly rotten on it🤣 P6 is the quilt. Black stains, and it is on the veil. Also, there is a window that was broken when we just entered the hotel, as shown in the video. In the end, we studied it ourselves. Finally, there are the ladies at the front desk here. When we first entered the hotel, we asked to see the room and asked about breakfast. I don’t know if the front desk was in a bad mood or too busy at the time, or maybe I was too sensitive. I don’t think her eyes are very friendly. Later, I called the front desk. My first feeling from her words was impatience. I understand that everyone has their own emotions, but I don’t accept the experience that makes me feel uncomfortable in the service industry. To sum up, the location of this hotel is really good and the room is relatively large, but I really can’t praise the hygiene and service🙏🙏🙏

Best hotel experience in my trip in China! The staff are extremely friendly and do their best to meet the needs of the guests. The rooms are clean and tidy. As a non-smoker, I would suggest installing air fresheners in the rooms to neutralize the smell of cigarettes. I will definitely return to this hotel again when I have the chance. I sincerely recommend it.

The surrounding area is a business district, close to the high-speed rail station, and it is particularly convenient to travel around the mall. The hotel has complete facilities, the rooms are clean and tidy, air conditioning and hot water are supplied in place, and a free breakfast is also provided, which is very rich. The bathroom is divided into wet and dry areas and is fully equipped with disposable supplies. It is the most satisfactory hotel on the Qinghai-Gansu Ring Road. The hotel price is right and the best value for money.

Some ingredients were expensive, such as prawns and shrimps, but unfortunately there were no fried eggs. The biggest shortcoming is that only the hot air conditioner in the room is open, and the temperature is very high, which affects the quality of sleep. At night, I can only expose my feet outside the quilt when I sleep. I called the front desk and the answer was that there was no cold air cooling, only hot air conditioning, or turn off the hot air conditioner, but in fact it couldn't be turned off. The temperature inside was too hot, which neither saved energy consumption nor reduced the experience.

The room is spacious and bright, and the layout is simple yet elegant. Sleeping on the soft big bed is like being surrounded by clouds. You will feel full of energy until dawn. The service is also super considerate. The lady at the front desk is gentle and the check-in process is quick and convenient. Also, the sanitary conditions of the hotel are impeccable. Every place is cleaned spotlessly, making your stay feel safe. In short, the experience of staying at Hanting Hotel this time was really great. I highly recommend it to everyone!
