Elanthi Village Apartments

Had a lovely 6 night break at the Elanthi Village. The proprietors are very helpful and accommodating. It is a short 20 minute walk into the main road of Kalamaki where you will find a range of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. Our apar**ent was basic but contained everything we needed to make our stay a comfortable one. Bed was comfortable and air conditioning was available but we did not use it as the temperature was not a problem in October. I would recommend a hire car at this time of year as the busses are very sporadic. We hired from the airport as this was the best option for use, however the apar**ent owner (Angela) will sort one out for you. As we where with Easyjet holidays, they wanted to charge us a change fee to upgrade to include breakfast for our stay , however we declined and paid Angela for the breakfast (which is nice) direct and it worked out cheaper. Not much more to say other than the main question is, would I stay there again? and that would be a definite yes.

I had a relaxing time here at this hotel. The couple that run it were very friendly. The guy often offered me a lift into town(which I accepted once) and he wouldn't take any money. I actually began to like the walk into town in the mornings/afternoons,but got a lift back from Antonis Pool bar in the early hours. The room was comfortable and I will have no hesitation in going back. I had free air conditioning,soaps and washing up liquid,even a couple of bottles of water in the fridge,which was a nice touch. Roll on next year!!

Just back from a Wonderful week at these lovely apar**ents. The owners Angela and Apostis are so welcoming and friendly and cannot do enough for you. My four bed apar**ent was spacious and spotlessly clean. Free air conditioning in the bedroom with an option to pay for air conditioning in the lounge. Excellent free Wi-Fi. Lovely continental breakfast and Angela will do you a delicious omelette or similar. Located in a very quiet area it’s so relaxing and peaceful. Just be aware these apar**ents are some way from Kalamaki ***** so transport is desirable. Highly recommended if you want a quiet relaxing break offering great value for money.

Very clean and lovely big rooms cleaned every day there are two air cons the one in the main room area is free the one in the bedroom you pay for but even though it was 30 degrees we didn't need the bedroom one you can also buy your bottles of water from the reception which saves lugging it from the town, the owners were amazing so friendly, really peaceful place to stay and unwind,we had a top floor apar**ent from the front view you could see the sea the balcony at the back was really big and was cool in the day but warm in the evening and not overlooked by anyone, the garden at the front was very well maintained as was the whole place, took about 15/20 minutes to walk into the main shopping area plenty of places to eat and get groceries, bus goes by the top of the main road so easy to get to Zanti town if you want a taxi the reception will call one for you, I will definitely be staying here again and for longer this time.

Amazing rooms,fantastic view and very clean rooms!!The apar**ents are near to the airport and to the port of Zakynthos and also near to the centre of the island!The owners are very kindly ,friendly and the breakfast is delicious!!THANK YOU VERY MUCH

The apar**ent was nice, beautiful view on both the countryside and seaside of Zakynthos, regular and accurate room cleaning service. The owners were very kind at all times, from arrival up to departure. In conclusion, a place where you felt a guest and not only a customer. Recommended!

Very good apts, clean, quiet, free air co & free safe! Kalamaki is a nice area, but a little dated, plenty of bars, restaurants & cafes to visit & eat at, I recommend Nefis travel for any trips, very good knowledge, & friendly! Reasonable prices! The roots tour is lovely!

We have just stayed for a week at these apar**ents.They are ideal if you want a quite holiday with amenities close by.There is no pool which to us was a bonus as very quite and a pool 200m away at Hotel Dollus you can use for free,just buy a drink or lunch.Angela upgraded us on arrival,apar**ent spacious with a large balcony that catches the late afternoon sun.For those regular to Greece these are typical Greek rooms,adequate for our needs,no fancy gadgets and a hand held shower in the bath,but very clean and cleaned every day to a high standard.Angela and her husband can’t do enough for you and make the stay comfortable and friendly,only thing they couldn’t do was improve the weather!! We had the breakfast as part of the deal and glad we did.Freshly cooked omelettes,scrambled eggs on toast along with bread,cake,croissants,orange juice,as much coffee as you can drink and the surprises Angela cooked each day. The friendliness of Angela and her husband are what really make this accommodation what it is,maybe a bit far from the centre if you don’t like walking but cabs aren’t that expensive.

This is the second time we've been to these apar**ents and we were delighted to be able to return for the first time since the pandemic. The setting is beautiful and our views amazing watching the sun go down while sitting on the balcony having a drink after another hard day at the beach....it really rounded off the day in a calming, peaceful environment. Rooms are functional, have air conditioning and spotlessly cleaned, the lovely maid coming every day to clean and tidy up and every couple of days bringing fresh towels. There's a hotel opposite with a pool which is a great setting but unfortunately this year they decided to charge 5 euros to use their facilities even though we bought food and drink when we went there....a shame......so we decided to go to The Rainbow which is about 10 minutes walk away if we wanted to make use of a pool. (Ran by Nikos, lovely fella) The best thing about the Elanthi Village has to be the people who run it - Aggeliki (Angela) and Apostolis. They can't do enough for you and are so welcoming, warm and friendly. I loved practising my terrible Greek with them and they practised their much improving English on us.
