We went the day before the hotel got flooded, so we managed to enjoy 2 days of swimming around the hotel lanes which was really fun! Unlimited swimming, hot springs and sauna. Although you’re not allowed to use any of these if there’s a thunderstorm so keep an eye out for the weather. The hotel should’ve warned the guests of flooding, or cancelled the rooms for guests’ safety, which was definitely a mistake on their part. However the staff response after the flooding was fantastic, they all kept calm and friendly despite many angry guests (which was to be expected as many had their cars destroyed). They were in the same situation as we were, trapped in the hotel lobby for days without power, but still tried their best to help the guests out as much as they could.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel, and the warmth and hospitality of the staff truly made it an unforgettable experience. A special mention goes to 刘贤英, 谭翠玲, and 龚武平 at the hot spring, whose exceptional service and genuine care stood out. 刘贤英 went above and beyond by sharing her personal preserved fruit snacks with my son when he didn’t fancy the oranges provided, a thoughtful gesture that touched our hearts. Additionally, 毛有谷 at the reception was incredibly helpful in arranging transportation to the train station, ensuring our travel plans were seamless and stress-free. The hotel itself is fantastic, but it’s the staff’s kindness and attention to detail that set it apart. Their warm-hearted service made us feel so welcome, and we can’t wait to return for another visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable and heartfelt stay!

Beautiful modern resort hotel with separate villas. I stayed in the latter which are enormous, with decent appointments. Notable are the in-ground hot spring pools - each are large and in private garden settings. Location is beautiful with dramatic karst formations surrounding and within the grounds. Warning - bring your own car, hotel transportation is expensive at 6yuan per km.

Thumbs up 👍 The layout of the villa is reasonable. Except for the rooms on the first floor, all rooms have independent bathrooms. The hall is large enough and very suitable for gatherings. KTV, game consoles, mahjong, and tea sets are all available. The children's room is nice and the children like it very much. Although the kitchen does not have gas, it has enough barbecue ingredients. The hot spring pool is relatively clean, just put a little cold water to rinse it. The courtyard is sufficient, and barbecue and hot spring bathing can be done at the same time without being cramped. The quality of toiletries and slippers is good and sufficient. The bathroom is large enough and the equipment is good, but not too many people can take a bath at the same time because it is an air water heater, but the hot water replenishment is not too slow. Overall, it was a happy and pleasant journey!

A great hotel, right next to Huanghua Town, seven or eight minutes away from Xiao Zhaozhou Bridge. There are many facilities in the hotel, including a gym, swimming pool, children's playroom, etc., and they are all free. The room is very clean and the bedding is good. Breakfast is okay, with about ten or twenty varieties. There are electric cars and bicycles for rent at the door of the hotel, which is convenient for traveling. There are also several restaurants nearby, which is also very convenient for eating.

It is best to travel by car. The nearest attraction is Baojing Palace, about 7 kilometers away, and Yingxi Peak Forest is about 70 kilometers away. It is more convenient to go shopping and watch movies. There is Pearl Square nearby.

This is an excellent hotel with extremely friendly staff. I don't think they get many foreign guests here and the staff were especially accommodating to me, even bringing fresh fruit and other snacks to my room as a way of showing hospitality. As for the hotel itself, it is an impressively large building with a classical style; the rooms themselves contain many dark woods that would have been seen in the Chinese hotels of yesterday. Everything is clean and well-maintained and the amenities are that of a far more expensive hotel. The location is within walking distance of the main shopping district but also close to the 'old town', where surprisingly impoverished and ramshackle dwellings can be seen. There is a bus station around 2km away that has services to popular tourist destinations like Jiulong village. The hotel itself may also provide such services but I didn't ask about that this time. Overall, a highly recommended place to stay in Yingde!

I booked it after reading the comments. I didn’t disappoint us. The bed in the room is big enough. The pillows and mattresses are comfortable. The room has a sofa. The space is big enough. All the staff are warm and courteous. There is a laundry room gym. It is good to step on a bicycle and run.
