Nice hotel , located less than 200 metres from Xingpingzhen bus stop on a side street of the old town , we stayed 4 at a family room and everything was fine , the only thing I will take in consideration before booking this type of room is notice the lack of door between the main room with the king size bed and the two single beds .

The hotel was very nice. The room was amazing. It’s locations was close to old town streets and pier, only 10 minutes drive to Yangshuo station. Staff was helpful and they have a nice lounge/bar. There is a restaurant inside and the breakfast could be a Chinese noodles style or ocidental. Both good but not many options. We highly recommend.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. When we arrived, they added us to a WeChat group. We asked a few questions in the group, and they responded promptly. They even helped us book a driver to the airport. The rooms were comfortable, and the floating bathtubs were very cool. The location was peaceful, but it was far out. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, but keep in mind that you'll need to book a car if you're wanting to do anything in Yangshuo city. The breakfast was simple (Guilin rice noodles), but tasty. The pool had a beautiful view, but there wasn't much shade and no loungers or pool towels available. An extra perk was the mirrored viewing rooftop where you could capture the beautiful surroundings! A great place to stay if you're looking for a bit of a retreat!

First of all, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service of the hotel. They provided a pick-up service from Yangshuo station as it is quite far away from the station, but it was not the hotel's fault as the station is far from any tourist spots you want to see in Yangshuo. From the moment I arrived, the staffs at the front desk were warm, welcoming, and efficient in checking me in. They also provided helpful recommendations for attractions and made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The room itself was huge, spotlessly clean and the bathroom was really big with both bathtub and shower inside. Throughout my stay, the hotel provided midnight snack (tangyuan/noodles/etc) and fulfilling breakfast as well. Also, they offered to pick me up from tourist spots near the hotel and ensure that my trip was as comfortable as it can be. Overall, my experience at the hotel was nothing short of superb. The combination of those truly outstanding service made for an exceptionally pleasant and stress-free stay. I would not hesitate to return or to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Amazing hostel. 4 minute walk from bus station and ancient old town. Good access to activities in the area and information can be obtained from the hostel. Quick and easy check in and manager spoke English and able to explain everything we needed. Bar and drinks available on site and food can be purchased additionally. Room was 4 person dorm, 3 of us in there. Squat toilet (not sure if every room has a squat but for those who struggle with this, I would check). Plenty of food and shops within 2 minute walk. Great communal space downstairs, chilled vibes. We loved it

I booked this homestay through Ctrip! I was attracted by the century-old house at that time! I really lived here and realized how correct my choice was. First of all, the pick-up and drop-off were in place, the service of the master was good and the quality of the pick-up car was good. The pick-up was Alpha and the pick-up was Ford Raptor. Secondly, as soon as you enter the door, there is an exquisite afternoon tea provided by the bar. The quality of tea, snacks and fruits is good. Then, when you enter the yard, the feeling of medieval style hits you in the face and goes straight into my heart! Then in the room, it is completely separated into dry and wet areas. The shower room, toilet and washbasin are separated and can be used by different people at the same time. Then the texture of the cabinet, the bookshelf, the coffee table and the chair makes me feel very comfortable! There are small chairs on the balcony and at the entrance to sit and rest and chat! Finally, there are the boss's collections: such as retro motorcycles! There are also snacks in the house! And the chef in the restaurant: we ordered beer fish and shrimps, and they were all cleaned up! In short, it's great! It's worth recommending! Come again next time! I hope the boss will keep his taste as always and provide better and better service!

Every time I go to Guilin, I must stay for two days. This time I chose this homestay, which is really great. It is a pleasure to sit on the balcony and daydream! Other homestays nearby are blocked by the bamboo forest on the bank of the Li River, so you can't see the vivid scene of the boats coming and going on the Li River. The scenery of this homestay is beyond words! The room facilities are very complete, clean, tidy, sanitary and comfortable! Parking at the door is also convenient. The Guilin rice noodles cooked by the boss can compete with the chefs outside! It takes a few minutes to walk to the ancient town. In short, it is very convenient!

The hotel is in a good location. It is very convenient to rent an electric bike. The hotel's electric bikes are affordable and have good performance. The hotel rooms are clean and tidy, especially the 270-degree large glass that allows you to see the beautiful scenery outside. The service staff are warm and thoughtful, and they patiently answered my questions about travel. I am very grateful here. For meals, I suggest you eat directly in the store. The beer fish they make tastes great and is affordable. I will stay here again if I have the chance!

This Gongxingshe Xichishanju is a perfect place to stay in XingPing, Yangshuo. It is conveniently located literally five min walk from the 20 yuan note scenery spot. The pier from where you can enjoy riding on a 4 seat tourist motor boat on the Li river (120 rmb/person) is also in a walking distance. There are many restaurants around but not so many convenient stores. The hotel has a little swimming pool outside, everything is so clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and really helpful. There is always a choice of hot and cold drinks at the lobby (instant coffee is provided, though). Breakfasts are simple but nourishing (Guilin rice noodles, bread, jam and butter, congee, mantou, dumplings, shaomai, fruit). I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone who seeks peace and comfort far away from the hustle and bustle of the West street.

I chose a holiday with few people to come here specifically to get some oxygen. I spent a week in a wine and B&B, and my friends who were traveling with me were not disappointed. The B&B is in Jiucai Village, with the Li River just a short walk outside the door. Although it is a little far away from the ancient town, But it doesn’t affect the stay experience at all. The owner of the B&B can help rent a battery car for transportation, and also provides free pick-up and drop-off at the high-speed rail station. He also introduces us to the history of Xingping along the way. The owner is a lover of ancient things, and the design of the B&B is also full of details. The sense of story is mixed with low-key and high-quality details. The layout of the room is a blockbuster in any photo taken. I have to say that the breakfast made by the boss lady is also very delicious, and the chili sauce is full of fragrance. Stop talking, my satisfaction is all in the pictures!

Pros: - good location in the heart of the xinping tourist street amidst preserved shophouses etc. - quiet and peaceful, well managed by the team - nice amenities and toiletries provided - room is clean tidy and well designed - water pressure of shower was amazing - cute dog and cats on site. Friendly and don’t make a commotion. - lady boss is helpful and ready with advice etc Cons: - view wasn’t greater & not like the pictures online.There was a giant white rectangle block of hotel(?) in the middle of our window view. - wifi is non-existent at our top floor room - breakfast was western style with congee. While not bad tasting, was average and frankly disappointing. Chinese breakfast would have been nice.
