One of the best hotels I have ever visited! The room was beautiful, and super clean (I am very picky about hygiene and cleanliness but this hotel was perfect in this sense) and service was good, location was also nice since it was so tranquil and the surrounding was quiet.Even there is a comfortable car arranged by hotel! One of the best was the professional photo session offered by the hotel, you can select a beautiful traditional costume for free, and also they will provide all the accessories and even there is a makeup artist to take care of your makeup, so you don't need any nice clothes or makeup as everything is organized by the hotel photography place. I loved all the photos they took, they beautify the photos so all look amazing, had difficulty choosing!! The photographer is so professional and they have amazing costumes!! Dressing up and makeup and phorography session all free of charge when you book the hotel! They give free photo but I bought some because quality is amazing! Will definitely visit again!

Superb service and beautiful room with great amenities. The room had a great view and was spacious and comfortable. We opted for a bbq night with tea and local snack workshop, and everything was great. The staff are polite and very helpful, and they do their best to make your stay enjoyable.

I cannot recommend this experience enough!! I was blown away by both the hotel and the team (special thank you to Sarah, Bryan, and Zakaria!) This was truly personalised service. The team went above and beyond to make our experience a memorable and special one. From our private tour of the grounds, to booking us activities, to the smallest of thoughtful and considerate actions like remembering my Mum’s favourite drink and ensuring she didn’t have to ask for it. The room was stunning. The food was great. The experiences were lovely. The gym is fully equipped and with a visit. The bar is beautiful and the music is excellently curated throughout the day. The scenery, the art and the architecture make this place an unforgettable experience. Zakaria was truly a gentleman and was very considerate and attentive. The spa is spectacular and was such an unexpected treat (and 40% off during the day!). Thank you Sugar House team!

Address - New West Street International Hotel is located in Yangshuo close to West Street. You can rent an electric scooter 🛵 at the reception for 50 yuan per day with a 200 yuan deposit which you will get back if you bring it back in the same condition. Ambiance/Facilities - This is a very fancy looking hotel. From the lobby to the bedroom. I was very impressed. They have a wonderful pool and kiddie pool 🏊🏽‍♀️, gym, laundry .etc. Highlights - Definitely the pool 🏊🏽‍♀️ The breakfast was good but mostly Chinese cuisine with a little Western sprinkled in.

My family and i went to going on a short trip in guilin yangshuo place and we stayed from 4 to 6 day in Banyan’s tree hotel. When we arrived at hotel Ms Rihanna who is manager gave us a warm welcome. There was a lot of people who waited check-in but she helped us quickly, so we could do it. And we exchanged wechat ID and she let us know when we need help through wechat. Breakfast quality was really good. So base on positive response we were able to finish the trip with good memories

Booking and Check-In I booked my stay at the Shixi Landscape Hotel in Yangshuo, Guilin, through Trip.com. The check-in process was very smooth and didn’t take long at all. One pleasant surprise was the option to upgrade our room for free, which we accepted. This upgraded room came with a lovely balcony. Although the staff couldn’t speak English, they were very friendly and helpful. Using a translation app made communication easy. Room Details We stayed in a standard double room with an upgrade to a balcony room. The room also featured a bathtub, which was a nice touch. Upon entering, the room was fairly clean, though there were some water stains on the floor and the carpet had a few dirty spots. The amenities were average, including a selection of soft drinks in the minibar and some snacks on the table. Despite these minor cleanliness issues, the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Facilities and Services The hotel had a restaurant where we received a complimentary breakfast upgrade. Unfortunately, the breakfast did not meet our expectations. While the Chinese food selection seemed okay, the international options were quite disappointing. The sausages were undercooked, the bacon was not good, and the cereal options looked and tasted stale. The only decent international option was toast with butter. It’s a relief we didn’t pay extra for it. Although I noticed the hotel had a spa, gym, and pool, I didn’t get a chance to use them. The pool looked nice but was small and shallow, not suitable for a serious swim. There was no room service available as far as I knew. Location and Accessibility The hotel’s location was fantastic, situated right next to the Li River and only a short 5-minute walk to the main shops and streets in the town. It was very easy to find and access, making it a convenient base for exploring Yangshuo. Customer Service The overall customer service was great. The staff were very friendly and polite, and we encountered no issues during our stay. Overall Experience The best part of our stay was the hotel’s prime location, which made it easy to visit tourist attractions. The hotel staff were also very helpful in arranging scooter rentals for a very reasonable price of ¥30 per day, which allowed us to explore the beautiful scenery around Yangshuo. However, there is room for improvement. The breakfast selection, particularly the international options, needs significant enhancement. Additionally, a thorough deep cleaning of the carpets would greatly improve the room’s cleanliness. In conclusion, while I would recommend the Shixi Landscape Hotel for its location and overall good service, it is on the pricier side for Yangshuo. Given the cost, I expected a bit more in terms of breakfast quality and room cleanliness. Nonetheless, it is a decent option for those looking to stay near the Li River and the town’s main attractions.

I stayed here again after 12 years. Except for the slightly outdated room facilities, everything felt the same. I could see the beautiful scenery of Yulong River up close, watch the bamboo rafts passing by, and see the aboriginal aunties weaving clothes by the river. The scenery was amazing.

This is a very quiet, clean and accommodating hotel. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. We asked for a King bed but it appears to be 2 queens (by North American standards). The beds are enormous! Please request for a non-smoking room if you detest smoking. We had a room with a balcony and view of the mountains and river. The other rooms had a tiny window, so upgrade to this room if your budget allows. There is complimentary bottled drinking water in the rooms and a complimentary drink upon arrival. The staff are very professional but do not really speak English. Bring a translator App. It’s very central and you can easily walk to the nightlife on West Street in 10 minutes. I would stay here again!

I received a call from the housekeeper before I checked in. It felt very nice. After checking in, I arranged the largest double-bedroom with a hot spring bath. As soon as the kids entered, they said: Wow, a five-star hotel? It's so big and fun! The housekeeper was also very happy to hear that. She patiently explained how to use each setting and kindly reminded me of the afternoon tea time. This time I took my sister-in-law, niece and my second child out. There were just four people in one room. After putting down the luggage, I enjoyed afternoon tea first. The children were very satisfied with the meal. Because I went to line up the bamboo raft at Jima Wharf in the early morning and needed to catch up on sleep, my sister-in-law took the two children to Qianguqing. So in the afternoon, I put the dirty clothes I left the day before into the self-service laundry of Yueshu and caught up on a beautiful afternoon sleep. For dinner, we did not choose the Moon Circle Restaurant at the door nearby, but went to the ”Ecological Garden Farm” recommended by a handsome guy at the front desk. The dishes were really good, and then the climax came: just after finishing the meal, about 8:30, the mobile phone received a text message that the standby for the Guangzhou South High-speed Railway was successful. Now I can have a barbecue and a bath in peace. The hotel has a self-service barbecue starting at 9:00 pm. My sister-in-law's lamb skewers are very good. You need to take a bath about an hour in advance. The room staff will come to disinfect and drain the water. We took a bath at around 10:00 pm. It was very enjoyable in such a cool autumn night. I will come again next time!
