In Front of the hotel is the river n the mountains view is spectacular! Very beautiful hotel n the toilet is high tech with heat up the seat n washing facilities. The staffs are simply wonderful, articulate and with positive attitude.

Booked a family room for 1 night. It's located at a quiet area but just 5min walk to old street. Nice deco but mattress and pillow too soft for our liking.

Sue's house is a really beautiful, friendly and welcoming place. The breakfast was really great and the staff was incredibly nice. We got picked up and brought back to the trainstation which was really great. The communication with wechat they offered was really comfortable. All facilities were new and the place was very clean. We would definetly come again to enjoy the view. Even though there was construction around the house, the staff handled that very well and tried to do everything to minimize the inconvenience.

Very quiet and serene. Slightly out of the main town. It is like a beautiful painting if you view from the foyer.

The receptionist was very kind to allow us early check in plus upgrade us to a bigger room. She also allowed later check out when we told her my wife was not feeling well. Overall , the hotel is new and modern looking. Would definitely come again.

Great place to stay just outside of the ancient village (other side of the small river). Very quiet and comfortable. We got an upgrade to a room with a bathtub and we certainly used it, it feels like a private spa. Service is fantastic and very helpful in arranging pick up and drop off as well as additional trips during our stay. Easy communication via WeChat. Beautiful place, with to stay extra time.
A small minus point on the cleanness because airco (we think) gave some unpleasant smell (musty).

Sue’s Homestay is an incredible place in one of the most beautiful landscapes in China! The decor was modern and warm, the room was spacious and clean, and the hospitality was inviting. The staff helped with a pickup at the bus station and drop off when departing. They also assisted with various activities and even helped me troubleshoot and connect with the hospital to obtain my test results. The icing on the cake was the spectacular view from my room! Although Xingping is a bit out of the way from Yangshuo and Guilin, if you’d like a peaceful and stunning retreat, Sue’s Homestay is my pick.

Wow! What a stay!!!
Sue’s House is a very homely place, with great interior; wonderful hospitality and an incredibly convenient location. The staff are amazing and some of the most hospitable set of people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting in my 8 years within China!
The hotel is situated 10 minutes walk from the entrance of Laozhai Mountain (around 40 minutes walk to the peak); 25 minutes walk to the entrance of the wharf for the iconic 20 RMB photograph opportunity, and less than 3 minutes walk to the Ancient Town. Whilst here, check out White Cafe (白 cafe).
