We had an amazing vacation with my brother at TUI Magic Life Bodrum. The food, service, beach, and entertainment were great. I would like to give a special mention to Carla; from the very first moment, she welcomed us with a smile, and we enjoyed her beautiful energy and warmth during every evening program. It was so much fun sharing our vacation with her; she truly made a difference. We also want to thank Christina, Bryant, and Belu for their positive attitude at all times. We definitely recommend this hotel!

Holidayed here for the first 2 weeks in October with another couple who, shortly after booking, decided to get married here using an independent wedding co-ordinator recommended by the hotel itself. How exciting.  To whoever does the trip advisor responses for the hotel, you know what's coming.....its all been documented with plenty of emails and a meeting in resort whilst we were there so, this review will be of no surprise to you! But, credit where its due I shall first review the hotel....... PROS: What a beautiful resort this is. Aesthetically very pleasing with the most stunning views. The bars make great use of this and wherever you choose to sit of an evening you will have picturesque vistas of the sea and the island opposite. We'd come back just for the views. Rooms: We paid for side sea view rooms in the main building and we weren't disappointed, watching the sunsets from the balconies was something we looked forward to every evening before going out. Didn't much like the pointless "milking stools" to sit on and while the balconies are small, you could certainly fit a couple of adult sized stools or chairs on them. Rooms lacked amenities in the bathroom for a 5 star hotel by only providing a basic shower gel and soap. No iron, bathrobes, mini bar refills etc. Found that very poor. That said, the rooms were very modern and a nice place to be when having an afternoon nap. Beds extremely comfortable and slept well. The cleaning lady was so sweet and went out of her way to decorate the rooms before, during and after the wedding day. Sorry we didn't get her name as she deserves the praise. Food: The food in the buffet which was open morning and night was exceptional. Full of variety and always well presented. The cakes! Just amazing! Credit to Mustafa who looked after us every evening. He always remembered what we liked to drink and served them with a smile. Also a special mention to Rukmana who cooked our eggs to perfection every morning, what a lovely gentleman. We ate at both the a la cartes, preferring the Turkish Levante restaurant. The food here was plentiful and really good so chose to eat here after the wedding. Pools: We only used the infinity pool which was lovely although a tad cold to get in. Could be a lovely peaceful area if it wasn't for the constant 1,2,3,4 and jump from the exercise classes on loudspeaker! Once we found the beach, this became our spot. Beautiful, and no need to rush to get a sunbed. Drinks: 24hr all inclusive bar is a bonus although we were ready for bed early most evenings. Plenty to drink but felt the cocktail menu was very limited so us ladies tended to stick to the lattes. The drinks are certainly strong, the men knew they'd had a drink! Absolutely loved sitting outside the lobby bar on the terrace. Entertainment: There is plenty going on day and night and friendly entertainments team wander round during the day to remind you of what's happening. You can be as busy or as chilled as you like. I have been to magic life bodrum 5x in 3 years. Not only is the hotel very well kept the food is amazing too. But it’s the staff that really keep bringing me back. They are all amazing and always remember me by name and treat me like a VIP. All the staff are fantastic but some require a special mention, Mustafa Kockar I consider a personal friend and absolute legend! He goes above and beyond when it comes to 1st class service and hospitality. Kubilay Gurdal (another personal friend) and his whole team are unbeatable for service and VIP treatment, everyone always smiling and helpful. I look forward to the day I can host both these guys in my house. Hasan Erol for just being Hasan really….a pleasure to see his smile and always greeted at the bar with the warmest welcome. Christina Vanderpoorten always looks after me in the angels club, she is wonderful! Knowing I’m the only English man in a Germany club she looks out for me and always makes sure I’m ok. Essential to your team! Oksasa Zu Raffa for being as beautiful inside as she is outside, always up for a laugh and always happy to help. Finally Selin Yangin and Zilan Çiftçi for not only there warm welcome back, remembering me by name but for being so attentive to the point that depending what time of day it was they knew what I wanted, amazing service and made me feel special. All of the team are excellent but i unfortunately can’t remember everyone’s name even thought they remember mine. Can’t wait to book for next year!

We had a great stay here in October 2024. We stayed for 10 days. The weather was beautiful - not too hot, but hot enough to sit on the beach and swim in the sea - and the setting is stunning. There are so many sun loungers that even though the hotel was full, there was always somewhere beautiful and/or quiet to sit. The beach is clean and the sea is ideal for swimming. We brought a snorkel with us and because the water is so clear we were able to see all the fish swimming alongside us. Some of the water sports are free. We went canoeing several times and enjoyed it. We also did archery, tennis (we did a beginner class and then booked the court at sunrise for the next few mornings which was gorgeous), HIIT, aqua aerobics, and Pilates (these activities were all included in the price). One of us did some of the mountain biking trips - these aren't really suitable for beginners as there are some big climbs in even the shorter trips. The bed in our room was quite hard but if you ask for a mattress-topper they will bring one for you. After this, the bed was absolutely fine. The balconies are very small so if you like to sit on the balcony, you might be a little disappointed - there are 2 tiny stools. The food was great - so many lovely, fresh vegetables and beautiful lamb and beef. Breakfast goes from 7-11, so there's loads of time to eat. Lunch is outside in the food courtyard and runs from 12-4. There's quite a bit of choice here, though there are also quite a few flies about so we stuck to the hot food rather than the salad stuff. Dinner is at 7. The Turkish A la Carte Levante was fantastic. The AI cocktails aren't great, but the wine is fine. We took the bus to Bodrum one day. It leaves from just up the hill from the hotel and cost us 55p per person each way. We had a pleasant walk around Bodrum and the market and marina. A Columbian dance group performed on Friday nights and they were absolutely brilliant. There was also a violinist performing at the beach party who was excellent. The other entertainment was fine. The gym is decent though a couple of the treadmills needed repairing when we were there. Every so often, when walking around the site, outside, there is an unpleasant smell from the drains (which sounds awful, but you do sort of get used to it) - I'm not sure whether anything can be done about this. I think the best thing about this hotel is its situation. The views are incredible. The staff were lovely - very helpful and attentive. We had a great time and would recommend.
