After a wave of cold air came in the beginning of winter, we finally waited for a weekend with good sunshine and gentle breeze. We met up with friends to spend a vacation at the Sheraton in Xiangshan. Perhaps it was due to the off-season, and there were not many people in the entire Songlan Mountain Scenic Area. Coupled with the good weather and the hotel's unique location, the two-day and one-night weekend holiday went very well.
Environment: The hotel is located in Baisha Bay, with mountains behind and the sea at its back. The location is excellent and the beach quality is good. It should be suitable for family fun in hot weather. There is a red seaside plastic plank road next to it, which is suitable for walking and running. As the venue for last year's Asian Games sailing competition, the surrounding road facilities are well built. For meals, you can go to Juexi Town and Damu Bay, which can be reached in more than ten minutes by car.
Service: Professional to the point. The front desk upgraded the room to a deluxe sea view room. You can watch the sea view and the sunrise from the balcony or even lying on the bed. The breakfast variety is not particularly large, but some local specialties such as wheat cake cones are good. The variety of fruits is a bit limited. The service between meals is very good and the dishes are collected in a timely manner. Room service response is also very quick.
Facilities: This is the only area that needs improvement. Perhaps it is due to the influence of the seaside environment. The facilities that have been renovated and opened for more than two years already feel a bit old. The lighting in the lobby is a bit dark, the quality of the furniture in the guest rooms is average, and the toiletries are of the quality of a business hotel.
