This hotel & the nearby resort are owned & run by Dutch Clary and her Tibetan husband, both of which have been thoughtfully designed and decorated by the couple. We went to Nirvana resort for dinner which is an excellent option if you're not staying at the resort for the superb 360◎ views of the Sanke grasslands. Location is right beside Labrang monastery and Clary told us exactly how to find the trail over the mountains north of the town. Highly recommend.
