First thing when arriving we were told we get a free upgrade -larger room and view of the city wall (which was AMAZING). So that was a good start! Staff was helpful, breakfast was great (Chinese, but even my picky daughter found things she liked) and the location is also very good (subway stop takes you straight to the railway station, lots of malls and the southern city wall right there). We even got a lovely local gift when leaving! All in all I would definitely come back!

Right next to Xing Cheng Live Theater (picture below), this hotel is just around the perfect area to start exploring Xi’an! The subway station is super close, around 5 mins walk! Also, the the front desk service is pretty helpful! There’s always someone there to help!👍👍 Finally, the room is quite spacious and comfortable! I loved the shower room, too! 🚿 I’ll definitely stay in this hotel again next time!✌️100% recommended 🎊🎈🤩🤩

Despite the conditions of the facility which is not in top shape, I would consider staying in this hotel again nextime around. The only reason for this is due to outstanding services provided by the receptionists, and especially a young female receptionist who was on duty early in that morning(11/3). My Alipay and WeChat pay accounts were suspended for no reason, and because of that I couldn't call/reserve a taxicab on my own. I really appreciated her help getting a taxicab for me.

Really great location for proximity to city centres and the market, though can be a bit hard for taxis to get down the road and pull up! Reception staff spoke English, and the room was a decent size and clean. Would recommend to any tourists staying in Xi'an on a budget!

Hands down one of the best stays in a sub-5-star hotel I ever had. I heard it's rated the top 4-star hotel in Xi'an, and deserves every bit of that accolade. The service is just wonderful, with staff greeting you at every turn without being intrusive, attending to every need, and ready to guide you with transport and travel plans. They are really courteous with a trained formality and elegance. Special mention is given to 小七, whose introduction of the room and its services was first class, and politely and respectfully refused our tip. Many others deserve mention, whose names unfortunately I did not ask for (including 小张 and 盼). The hotel is beautifully designed, with a really poetic name (if I got it right, means calm clouds with a safe harbour for the night, in just 4 Chinese characters), and the interior decor is really stylish without being pretentious. The lobby, with its gigantic multi-function reception counter is really impressive. The location is just fantastic, and just around the corner from one of the southern gates of the City Fortification. The hotel management is doing something right, and I hope it continues this level of service and refinement. Loved my stay so much that I will choose this hotel again if I travel to Xi'an again.

Smooth check in process! Bed was so comfortable, perfect after a long day of exploring the streets of Xi’an. Perfect location, close to subway and City wall. Just a station away from drum and bell tower and muslim quarter. The hotel staff even gave us a gift! So nice

The best things about this hotel were: free laundry and great service. We traveled a lot and this was the only hotel we can wash our clothes and got fresh ones. In fact the staff 严巧玪 and 谢蓉蓉were so helpful that they collected and laundry and folded them and delivered to my hotel room. The shower water was great also. The room was very cleaned and always in order after we return. We loved the breakfast and tea time in the afternoon. The location is awesome very convenient. We highly recommend this one.

Holiday Inn Express Xi'An Bell Towers is located near amenties like 24/7 convenience stores. It is a short walking distance to various street food stalls n souvenir shops. Lots of delicious food are found here.👍 Their reception staff are very professional, friendly and helpful. Upon arrival, they offered us beverages to quench our thirst due to our long train ride from another province. Due to our late departing flight schedule, they were to accomodate to our request for late check-out.👍 Their breakfast is nice and delicious, catering to both Chinese and Western style. We were even given complimentary home-made beverages, something which we did not anticipate and this gesture delighted us. 👍 Their family room is ideal for our family of 4 adults, spacious space and good disposable toiletries. Staff cleaning the hotel rooms were polite, friendly and did a thorough job. Room was cleaned everday, at different timings, as they accomodate to our timing for sight seeing.👍 We would like to thank all staff from Holiday Inn Express Bell Tower Xi An for making our leisure trip a wonderful and memorable one. 😘 Thank you ❤️

This is a wonderful hotel in a fantastic location. Every single staff member was kind, professional and helpful. They are lovely people who made our stay so much better than we expected. The hotel room was spacious, modern and sound proof. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in. Not too hard and not too soft, and huge. Two armchairs and a separate day bed gave us plenty of room to relax in our room. The shower had excellent pressure. The projection TV was fantastic. This hotel is also incredibly good value for money. The only negative was people smoking downstairs near the meal area. I will definitely stay here again next time I am in Xi’an.

I think this hotel is the most convenient choice of all hotels in Xi'An. It's right in front of the Bell Towers, and walking distance to so many tourist spots, even situated right in front of metro exit. It's easy to call a cab here. The breakfast didn't have much choice, but if you're in a mood for other types of food, you can just go outside and find so many nearby restaurants. I enjoyed my stay in this hotel so much despite the hotel is old and that the window doesn't have view of the bell tower.

The room was really great 👍🏻. I was stunned when I entered the door. It was exactly the same as the picture. The room was spacious and bright, clean and hygienic. The sheets and quilts were just replaced with new ones. The room was still drying the sheets that had been washed. For me with a slight cleanliness, I am more assured of hygiene. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the subway entrance, and you will go to the Bell Tower Muslim Street through the subway entrance. The location is not too good. There are various snacks around the downstairs. There is a morning market downstairs in the morning. It is super cheap to buy vegetables and fruits. I still cook in the room in the morning. The kitchen utensils and seasonings are all complete, which is perfect. Five-star recommended stay.

It is highly recommended to travel. It is very convenient to take the subway or the bus from the south gate and the Bell and Drum Tower. The supermarket and shopping mall are opposite the downstairs community. There is a food street behind. It just snowed in Xi'an for a few days. It was very warm as soon as I entered the room. The heating is very sufficient. I really want to move the heating back to the south 😄😄
