The hotel is close to the rainforest park, but far away from the city. The room is spacious and clean. The gym equipments are old. The outdoor pool is nice. The parking lot at the front of the hotel is very small. The staff are friendly. The buffet breakfast is expensive for its quantity.

A much needed weekend staycation in Hainan.
Hotel is in a gorgeous location - set in the tropical rainforest. Very large grounds.
Helpful and accommodating staff.
Bath tubs and heated blankets for the cooler months.
We had a fantastic guide who took us on a walk just outside of the hotel and into the rainforest. You can do a shorter loop or you can continue up and up and up lots of stairs- it is a good workout. The path is not 100percent complete / or not open right at the top so we went to a little door and back down again. I very much enjoyed this walk. Our helpful guide provided with walking sticks and helped with photo opportunities. After the the walk he showed us a a temple and gallery located in the hotel’s grounds. The gallery kindly provided us with our very own tea ceremony and the views from the small room of the mountain was lovely.

Great location right next to National Park and only place that has special process to bring foreigner into the park (which normally is not possible anymore).
Nice view possible from the room, but always depends on the weather :)
Restaurant service due to Chinese new year was a bit messy, but welcoming-cultural dance and helpful staff made an overall great stay.

Poor service. Rest of the Hotel was nice. Nice location, nice outside area inside rainforest. We checked in advance to make sure they accept foreigners and they did. But they didn’t bother telling us that the national park that this hotel is in, doesn’t really allow foreigners to hike up the mountain (which is the only reason you’d really go to that park). They only told us by letting us sign a piece of paper at check-in that states we wouldn’t try to climb the mountain as it’s not allowed for foreigners.
So we stayed only for a night and left again - disappointed.

Pretty location, good service, clean rooms - but very cold and damp in December with no heating in the rooms. Probably a great place in the summer, but I would not recommend it during winter.

Nice location for visitors with cars, otherwise very hard to truly checkout the beautiful region. A big rainforest park is right next to the hotel but doesn’t take foreign guests which was a huge disappointment for my family.
