The Reynolds Mansion

My husband and I booked a room for 3 nights at the Reynolds Mansion for my birthday, and our first trip to Asheville. The house and grounds are beautiful! The innkeepers were wonderful and made us feel right at home. Breakfast each morning was amazing! I will certainly come back to stay with them on our next trip to Asheville!!

The Reynolds Mansion Bed & Breakfast is far superior to any typical B & B. Paul, Mirlin and Team provide more than an outstanding facility located on beautiful grounds, they deliver an immersive experience designed to make you feel welcomed and relaxed. They make every effort to greet you personally upon arrival, sharing the history of the mansion and illuminating you with everything you need to know to enjoy your stay. Attention to detail is of paramount importance; from impeccable standards for appearance, ambiance and cleanliness, to assistance with making fine dining reservations and providing information to help you plan your day. The four course breakfast served each morning is a culinary delight, which helps set the context for the rest of your day. We highly recommend The Reynolds Mansion to anyone visiting Asheville.

Paul and Mirlin are the most gracious and generous hosts. While we did not have an overnight stay, they welcomed us into their home for a special occasion as if we were old friends, although we were just meeting them for the first time. Even during my first phone contact with Paul, he was so hospitable. They are knowledgeable of the house's history and original family lineage, as well as the area. Both the inside and outside of the house are stunning, with extraordinary touches that lead you to feel as if you've stepped back in time. Don't miss an opportunity to spend time in this lovely, inviting home.

This was by far one of the most enjoyable Inns/Bed & Breakfast we have ever stayed in. Paul is a wonderful host. Greets you when you arrive with an ice cold beverage, and gives you a great overview of the property. The 4-course complimentary breakfast was not only delicious but a work of art! Exceptionally clean, well maintained, lots of thought has been given to what guests might like during their stay - fluffy towels, espresso/coffee machine in room, refrigerator - bathrobes for each guest and more! Love it and would highly recommend to others - and will find a way to get back there next year!!

Fantastic retreat in Asheville away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. You’ll take a step back in time yet be close to all Asheville offers. Immaculately clean, quiet and comfortable bedrooms and an amazing breakfast. Breakfast is 4 courses, each presented elegantly with time to linger and enjoy. Paul and Mirlin are terrific and will help make your stay what you want. Their cocktail bar and restaurant recommendations were spot on. Thanks for a great stay.

We were in Asheville for a veterinarian procedure for our rescue puppy. We chose The Reynolds Mansion based on location and reviews. It was a 5-Star experience, perfect in every aspect. Paul and Mirlin, our hosts, were gracious, warm and shared lots of fascinating stories and background. Our breakfast was the best we have ever had, including a world-class "smoothie". Our accommodations felt like home; the fireplace was inviting, furnishings were very comfortable. We've stayed at several B&B's over the last 5 years, The Reynolds Mansion tops them all.

Beautifully maintained historic home in a lovely setting with mountain views - Paul and Mirlin are welcoming and gracious hosts with international experience - the four course breakfast made it feel like we were dining with the Vanderbilts! Definitely recommending to our friends and family.

We were greeted at the door by Paul, who told us the history of the Mansion and inquired about our travels and preferences for our stay. Very informative. Our room was cheery and very well appointed. Breakfast as mentioned was five-star in all aspects, from quality of food, service, and hospitable a**osphere. When we travel again to Asheville, we will definitely stay at the Reynolds Mansion.  

Wonderful location, ancient stately home in the best condition. From the moment we were welcomed by Paul, we felt right at home. The room was very spacious and sleeping in a four poster bed was a totally new experience for us. The breakfast, lovingly prepared by the hosts, tasted delicious. Also the interesting conversations with the hosts and the other guests present were very informative. Thank you Merilin and Paul, we will keep you in best memory!
