Hotel is overhyped. Everything was mediocre.

É um bom hotel, com quartos espaçosos e bom serviço. A localização não é muito central, mas há alguns restaurantes e outros comércios por perto. As únicas observações negativas que tenho são que a cortina black-out não era muito boa, permitindo entrar luz no começo da manhã, e a iluminação do quarto era pouca, deixando o quarto escuro à noite.

For the first night of our Namibia camping trip we stayed at The Weinberg. It is luxurious and well situated with good views from the outside bar. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms well appointed and food good Would recommend this place. But is very popular so booking is essential

Loft rooms are impractical ! Can’t lug your luggage up 13 steps and also no room upstairs to take two suitcases anyway! There is no cupboard space downstairs for clothes! Only one wash basin in an expensive hotel?? Air conditioning can’t deal with loft room -if on warm then lower floor is ice cold and upstairs like a sauna .room is dark with no view .no towel hot rails and no way to dry towels overnight . Staff are excellent but loft rooms poor & many steps every where because hotel is on a steep slope . Breakfast buffet is fairly poor and limited for an expensive hotel like this! Definitely overpriced for value one receives .

The hotel is OK, rooms comfortable but not fully up to spec, fridge not working, air conditioning needed to be repaired after we arrived, cleaning cloth left on coffee counter. Manager probably needs to take control. Biggest negative is sky bar stops serving at 22:00!

The Weinberg was our first stop in Namibia. It is a lovely spot. There are several restaurants located by the hotel and we enjoyed the fish restaurants two nights in a row. We requested a town tour and they arranged the tour and we had the opportunity to see the highlites of the city. The rooms were lovely and so were the breakfasts.

This hotel is well situated for access to the airport, and is clean and beautifully furnished throughout. Very attractive terraces at ground floor and on the roof for drinks and food. Room and bathroom en suite well appointed and very comfortable. Food not quite up to scratch - tempura prawns had nice batter but were soft inside. We noticed most people were eating at The Cape Town Fish Market (which has an entrance off the ground floor terrace of the hotel) - better value maybe?

Brand new hotel, nice room, nice location close to the city center, free and safe parking. Most of the staff was very attentive. Three good restaurants in the hotel complex. Breakfast is very good, but could have more fruits and bread options.

The reception at the Weinberg Hotel was very welcoming on our arrival and on our return at the end of our booked Self Drive Safari. The roof top restaurant serves reasonable food (which we had on our arrival at the beginning of our trip)but their booking system for a table needs to be improved. Having made the effort to go up to the restaurant to book a table for our last night, we were ensrued that althoght it was not possible to "reserve" a table, they would keep a table for us - when we returned there were NO spare tables. We went and ate at the Cape Town Fish Market on the ground floor of the htoel. Staff were great, SUSHI food was very tasty and ejoyable. Rooms at the hotel are well equipped with beautiful bathrooms. Bed very comfortable. Would be great to have my water bottle returned - although my fault for leaving it there, I was ensured that the bottle had been found and it would be available for me to pick up on my return.... despite a few convesations with staff, sadly the bottle was not returned. I presume it's still at the hotel.
