I took my mum for her 80th birthday and I have got to say Wheatlands Lodge is the best place we have ever stayed in The Lakes and would highly recommend it. The accommodation is second to none, bright beautiful and spotless. The breakfast is the best I've had anywhere. Mike and Lynn are the perfect hosts and we wouldn't hesitate to come back every time we visit The Lakes - thank you very much x

Just come back from a two night stay at the Wheatlands Lodge. What a lovely place to stay. Location excellent, our room was lovely, breakfast both mornings excellent. Mike and Lynn are lovely and very helpful for places to go and visit. Will definitely go back.

Great location within walking distance from the train station and tucked away on a side street. It was quiet, relaxing, and breakfast was very nice. Mike and Lynn are excellent hosts. This was an ideal place to stay while visiting the Lake District.

Excellent location for the centre of Windermere and ample parking which is a bonus . Mike and Lynn made us feel very welcome and the breakfast was lovely. Rooms very comfortable , decorated and furnished to a very high standard . We ate at the San Pietro and would recommend but book in advance.

The most beautiful lodge. The rooms were very clean and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was also lovely and cooked by the owners. The owners went above and beyond by booking our tapas for us for the Saturday night so we had somewhere to eat. They were extremely helpful and always on hand. The lodge is in a perfect location to everything we will most definitely return here again.

Second time staying here & I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The location is perfect with so many restaurants round the corner and a nice walk down to the lake for more shops and restaurants. This is a stunning little place to stay with an amazing breakfast, especially the pancakes 🥞 I would recommend staying here , Mike & Lynn are the perfect hosts and I can’t wait to come back (mainly to see Alfie the dog) !

Wow! What an absolutely stunning place to stay. Not only were the views amazing, our 'Room 8' was so clean and beautifully presented. It was clear that every part of the Wheatlands Lodge was thought about in great care and detail. I can't wait to return!

This is an absolutely wonderful lodge. The environment is incredible and the location is perfect, with access to shopping and hikes only a short walk away. The owners are fantastic hosts, always doing their absolute best to make each individual customer feel comfortable and well tended to. The room we stayed in was lovely, extremely clean and very nice to stay in. The breakfast and coffee in the morning was amazing and such an added bonus. I cannot recommend this lodge enough. If you're looking for a lovely place to stay in Windermere, look no further. Thank you for making mine and my partner's time in WIndermere even better.
