Motel 6 Winchester, VA

I know that traveling with pets puts you into a certain class of rooms, but cleanliness should not be something you give up. Housekeeping slipped in a number of areas such as leaving dirt around the sink faucet and dirt on floor. Some guests were a bit noisy but quieted down around 11:30. Coffee was supposed to be out by 6 am but was not. These are minor issues. the price was right and I do like wood floors.

I was pleased with my experience here. Front office was pleasant and the room looked and smelled clean. The Motel 6 i stayed in the next night could take a lesson!

Quick check in. Plenty of parking. Clean room. Sure had some odds about it like any motel but you can't beat the price.

First time ever travelling with our 13 year old shih tsu. He usually stays with our daughter when we travel. Great that there is no extra charge for the little guy.

Very basic, seemed clean but saw a cockroach. Bottom of bathroom door missing 2 inches maybe it flooded at some point. No coffee maker. Reasonable rate.

Centrally located in town. Easy access to highways. Lots of restaurant choices within 10 minute drive. Rooms are clean and well kept. Bed is comfortable. Reception friendly. Daily coffee from 6am to 10am. Bring your own toiletry. Only soap is provided. No hairdryer. Only negative is thin walls. Our neighbors blasted their TV but noise level went down around 10:30pm. Not much trouble after that.

The room was smelly. The 0 number to the front desk was not working. People up and about all night and early morning.

Doors were sticky in the rooms. Good of used a coffee pot in our rooms. Also a hair dryer and kleenex. Not enough towels for 2 people have to have showers. Beds are comfy. The guy helping us was great.

The property was fine, staff accommodating but they were cleaning or doing maintenance at 1 am for a few hours talking loudly, hitting the wall separating our unit. Complained to desk person but it didn’t improve until they finished and left. NOT MUCH SLEEP!!
