Blue Water Motel

The hotel has a great location, less than a block to the beach and far enough from the noise of the boardwalk. That ensures you’re not kept awake all night. Nice pool and beautiful rooms. Both roomed were modern and extremely comfortable. The owners are extremely nice and work to make your stay enjoyable. Plenty of parking.

BEWARE. I would rather pay a bit more to stay somewhere else without having to deal with bed bugs. The stay would have been okay. It’s a very simple and basic. But it was nice that they had a room for bigger families. BUT, they have BED BUGS or at least our room did. After we got home my neck was covered in bites, thankfully my kids only got one or 2 bites but our other companions also had bites along their backs. Because of this I am NEVER staying there again. We literally just checked out from there yesterday.

Oh man, these hotel owners were something else Ok so i rented a room over priced at 10 pm but what are you going to do at 10pm. I have 4 small children so i get a 2 full bed suit after i rented the room the woman told me i have to pay 65 more for a three bed bedroom room because it was illegal to have more than 2 kids in a bed. I told them to refund my money. They refused and as i was yelling at them to give me my money back they were trying to antagonize me and berate me i realized they had already called the police so i started telling all of their other guests exactly what they were trying to do to rip me off. The entire time the man was trying to get me to come out of the lobby so nobody else would find out what was going on! Some of the guests seemed concerned. At first they did not want to give me a cent back, then the cops came he explained his case, they saw i was not under the influence of anything so they told the hotel people to refund my money. The cop told me there was no law about how many people can sleep in one bed so they were forced to refund my money except the a**h*ls ended up keeping $25 dollars for cleaning fees. I will say that these were some of the nastiest, shiesty hotel owners i ever met they watch everything you do on their cameras like they are investigators. It's like being in prison i am sure they have alot of problems with customers after they treat them like total crap. To tell you the truth the cops were not much help as they kept telling me they could not make them pay a full refund because it was a "civil matter" figures they would back the hotel owners to some degree i mean they get paid from the city taxes after people like these steal money from out of state peopl

Basic not all that great, air conditioning unit was so loud and noisy bathroom is way too tine, terrible towels, super rough and smells like beach, don’t like that each guest room has an ashtray on each table there should be a designated smoking area not outside each room, not friendly owners at all sorry won’t be returning

We stayed one night in the Blue Water Motel, as the Villa Nova Motel across the street was full that particular night, forcing us to move. But this turned out to be a great revelation, as this room had just about everything we'd had at the other place, and was cheaper. And the room was very clean. We were in room 110, which had 2 double beds, TV, A/C, a 6 drawer bureau, table and 4 chairs, 1 arm chair, a full fridge, microwave, 2 burner stove, sink, coffee maker (but you had to buy the $1.50 K-cups at the office), toaster, pots/pans, plates, glasses, silverware knives, a dish drying rack and an exhaust fan. There was also a power ***** for all your plugs. The floor was a wood floor. The beds only had sheets on them, but there were blankets in a cupboard. The bathroom had a tub and shower. The toilet paper holder was high, as they fastened it above the tiled part of the wall. The ice across the hall, cost 25 cents for a good amount. (And it could be stored in the full freezer, so it didn't melt). We didn't use the pool in our short stay. And we didn't cross the street to get to the nearby access path to the beach. The pool is covered at night. The parking was free. Checkout time was 10 AM, which seemed early. We would stay there again.

Worst place to stay. The air conditioning was so loud you could not sleep. There was no air flow. You could not open up the windows. The room is tiny and the blankets are very worn. There was also a mildew smell. We paid for two nights but left after one night.

This motel was amazing! The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful! The motel was thoroughly clean and you always saw them cleaning and keeping things nice. The atmosphere was very family friendly. The rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable. It is an ideal location away from the busy boardwalk. It was a close walk to the beach. I can’t say enough great things!
