"I have been to Wick three times - twice at MacKay’s and once at another hotel. MacKay’s is undoubtedly the better hotel. The hotel has a faded elegance that can be quite charming, and it is certainly a better hotel than Wick deserves with spacious rooms and a great restaurant. However the decor and fittings are a bit old."
"Great value stay, all self catered and rooms were provide with all the necessities, would only recommend for solo trips as quite small and noise levels while quiet from the outside were not 100% from the inside. Bathroom could have done with a bit better clean but for the great low price it's hard to argue with for just a night."
