I have learned that Choice Hotels have no standard of quality for the multitude of properties carrying their logo, this property is a perfect example of this. When I arrived I found a hotel that looked like a construction site due to storm damage that it had incurred several months before my arrival. The roof was still being repaired, there were entry doors that were broken and off the hinges, parts of the hotel could not be entered , the pool was completely shutdown and security doors that would not operate properly. An individual that was checking in at the same time had to return to the desk 3 times to get a key that would allow him to enter his room. When I entered my room I found the window unlocked and no screen on the window. Just prior to going to bed I flushed the toilet and due to a malfunctioning fill valve the tank over filled and flooded the bathroom. This hotel should not have been open to guests until all the needed repairs had been made, and like other choice hotels there is a strict no refund policy.

Pool was covered, cigarette burns on the sheets. The breakfast area was 84 degrees and missing butter and most other essentials. Everything was old and broken down. Better luck staying somewhere else tv remote was almost dead and took a minute to change channels.

The WORST Quality Inn I’ve ever stayed at by far. Giant stains all over the bedding. Absolutely disgusting. And the key packet had multiple room numbers written all over it??? Front desk didn’t know what a duvet was?? Avoid.

Room 228 definitely needs a remodel, I wouldn't sit on that couch, the cushions are worn out! You can't close the bathroom door due to a cobbled together repair of the top hinge. The bed was firm and ok, but you could feel the springs pop when you moved. Free hot breakfast!? There was a waffle machine and hot water for oatmeal. Why even have the crockpot and ladle out if you not serving the gravy? Why were there no biscuits or sausage in the chaffing pans? The staff was friendly and helpful.

Worst Quality Inn I’ve stayed in in along time. If I weren’t so exhausted &locked into rental I would have kept going! Unknown brown streak on couch. Blood spatter on ceiling & couch, black mold in shower ceiling. Towel rack out of wall, non working blow dryers, hall ceiling disgusting. But hey Someone left a “Natty!” Never again. What happened to QI standards? UGH!

If Choice Hotels allows this property to be on their website I may have to give up my membership. This hotel is old, out dated, beat up and needs a lot of work. Our room had many spots that were covered with spackle (plaster) and unpainted. The bathroom was the worst. The walls were in bad shape and the door needed to go. Then some other things like the curtains not hung right, no alarm clock in the room and a very low toilet with very cheap toilet paper. The breakfast room was dark and not set up to well. There were no coffee or juice machines. Just Mr. Coffees and gallon jugs. There was biscuits and gravy that was pretty good. The property does not have an elevator. We are still not sure why we were asked for a $50.00 cash deposit at check-in. Usually a credit card is asked for. Overall a bad experience. Choice Hotel management needs to pay a visit for themselves.

Enjoyed my stay bed was comfy and the staff was amazing . The room was clean and the lobby had coffee and a comfortable place to sit and wait for the rest of our friends to arrive. I will book this place again
