When we arrived I discovered that there was no soap in the bathroom, my wife asked the young lady from reception for some soap - she said she would bring some to us. Over an hour later, we went to organise our dinner, my wife asked again for soap and was told that housekeeping had run out. As for dinner, we along with a group of 30 were meeting for dinner, because there were so many of us we had been advised that we would have a choice of 3 meals - roast pork with vegetables, lamb chops with vegetables or fish (pan fried, battered or crumbed) with salad and chips - we ordered at 6.20pm and I got my roast pork an hour later, my wife had ordered the crumbed fish and finally settled for pan fried at 8.10pm after they tried to give her the wrong meal three times (there was no apology). For dessert, we had both ordered apple crumble, when my wife’s was brought out one was put in front and then quickly snatched away and told that one is not for you - another dish was slapped down with melted ice cream for her. One of our group had to wait until almost 9pm for their main meal. No discount was offered for the mess up! The only reason I give 2 stars is that breakfast the next morning was much better.
