Weymouth Sands Guesthouse

Best B&B in weymouth for location, host, rooms, breakfast....the list goes on. We were greeted by our fabulous host Nic and she let us drop off our cases as our room wasn't quite ready, we were very early, received a text message about an hour later to say room was ready, cases had been taken up to our room for us. Room was beautiful with the most stunning Seaview. Nothing was too much trouble, we were treated like family, loved it so much we are returning again in April and hopefully August.

If you’re looking for a nicely presented well appointed value for money guest house/B&B with amazing sea and harbour views you can’t go wrong with Weymouth sands guest house imo. I have been here for three days this time, have previously stayed here when colin and dianne were running it but they have retired and the business now is run by the lovely Nicola and she is a lovely host also. I’m glad this place is still serving guests even in our trying economic times.

From the moment we arrived Nicola made us feel very welcome.Our room was perfect we had a bay window with small table and chairs with great view over the sea.Bed was like floating on a cloud of luxury.Plenty of tea ,coffee etc even a jar of biscuits.Lovely selection of toiletries .Immaculate room ,perfect location and host who really did make you feel welcome.Thank you for being hostess with mostess we will be back !!

Fantastic place to stay beautiful room amazing host very welcoming harbour view booked for surprise birthday looking forward to booking again in the future across the road to the beach and pavilion close to all shops

Great communication and ease of booking. The family had a great time, fantastic host. We shall return. Breakfast was a delight and custom to your needs, location on the sea front and 1 minute walk from the beach. Just a great place to stay with an awesome host

Very Good clean honest hotel , Excellent small friendly run hotel , very clean and good size room, the fresh cooked breakfast was excellent and plenty of it choice of eggs , the owner was very welcoming and very friendly and could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable, our room h had a excellent sea view over the harbour, we will return , Thank you Liz and Phil

Received a warm welcome from owner Nicola. We stayed in the deluxe room with large bay window overlooking the beach. Comfortable bed, room and ensuite spotless, hearty breakfast (that even catered for my myriad of allergies). As a pocket friendly budget B&B, what's not to like. Kevin&Brian.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had the best room in the house with great view over Weymouth beach. We were able to leave our cases on first and last day. Nicola was very welcoming and the other guests were friendly. We enjoyed our chats over breakfast and everyone gets to sit by the window in the breakfast room at least once during their stay The guest house is situated by the beach and harbour and not too far from train station and bus stops

I booked a 1-night stay for Saturday 4th June through **********. The host Nicola contacted me 5 days after my booking to inform me "Unfortunately our policy of a minimum stay of 2 nights has been overlooked by ********** and I am afraid I will have to cancel the booking", leaving my very few options for my upcoming stay this weekend. This two night minimum stay is not detailed anywhere in their online presence. This is a business that's been providing stays on ********** since 2014 so they're not new to this. They have 6 reviews on the platform from people who have had one night stays, plus a further 3 reviews from people on Tripadvisor who've also had the same. Nicola refused to honour the booking after being contacted by ********** support and instead tried to arrange a booking for me at a neighbouring B&B at twice the cost. I have no clue as to the real reason Nicola wanted to cancel my booking, but inventing a new policy to serve her purposes is a dirty business practice and it's evident that there's a distinct lack of customer care here.
