The place was horrible, bad location, I checked in and dropped my stuff off then went out for an hour and when I got back to check out the room there was bed bugs.

Signage was a paper half taped to the entry door. From outside you can observe that the shades were off track in many rooms. Shady at best. Can’t speak to cleanliness of rooms; left after seeing lobby, clientele, and talking to clerk.

Front desk attendant was rude. First room the toliet leaked and was told there was only 1 room left and it was for emergencies. Room had pateches of wallpaper peeling off the walls. Heater didn't work so the room was FREEZING! Yelling up and down the hallways. Fridge did not work.

I wish I had taken photos. When I went to plug in the phone charger, there was a bug that came out of the outlet. One of the drawers was full with crumbs, and the bathroom toilet kept clogging. When I went to check in the person behind the counter was too busy, placing the order for Chinese food and had me wait. The room should’ve been 99+ tax up to 123+ the $12 cancellation fee and I ended up paying 173 again I wish I had taken pictures.

Everything worked - shower, tv, heat and wi-fi. The only problem was that the bathroom sink counter was not clean. I had to clean it with damp napkins to get rid of the built up crud.

We booked a king bed only to learn no rooms with kings were clean. Heat was alright but a constant drip could be heard. Got a 2 double bed. No breakfast. No coffee maker in room. None of us slept well. Asked about partial refund and was refused.
The shower was nice. Otherwise, not worth the cost.

Room was filthy: chair had white dust all over; windowsill was covered with dirt, dust, ashes; windows didn't close fully; toilet rocked noisily; hotel doors to parking lot had a hole where the lock had been removed. No signage indicated this is "Riverdale Inn"; rather all signage (and wifi network and password) pointed to this being a Super 8. Loud party at the entrance until the wee hours, complete with music from an 18-wheel truck in the lot, and shouting. Halls reeked of pot. Shower rod was disconnected from the walls on both ends of the tub, so that water could not be prevented from flowing onto the bathroom floor. Only 3 lights in the room: either side of bed and next to the window; there was also a desk in the room, but it had no light on it.

Riverdale Inn is a Super 8 motel, it smells old and the surroundings were littered. Staff were not welcoming. It needs to be honest about what it is an old run down motel.
