I went here during September for an excursion with my school. Although we were excited to hear about our cabins, and how they were much better than last year's, everything else was of very poor quality. The food was very budget, and many people did not finish their meals. One person even had go home, likely of being homesick or food poisoning. However, the worst part was lunch. I'm not sure if it was provided by the school or Canberra Park, but I apologize in advance if I'm complaining about nothing. Half the people got cheese, while the other half got chicken in their sandwiches. I was one of the unfortunate people who got cheese both days, and it was for quite unfortunate reasons. The first day I lets someone in front of me, who proceeded to swap out their cheese for a chicken, which was the last one. On the second day, a teacher (not mentioning any names) said there was no more chicken left. Another student then asked for a swap, and there was still another chicken sandwich in the box, hiding in plain sight. I mean, come on. You guys are seriously willing to save money to the point where you are taking an essential part of our everyday eating? At least we had toilets in our rooms, a huge problems that occured last year. By the way, good luck trying to get more than 4 hours of sleep there, as the beds were more than a little uncomfortable. After the camp, I was sick for about a week, which doesn't happen often. Overall, the experience was very mediocre, and I wish I had some excuse to not go in the first place.
