Overall a relatively poor Premier Inn experience. Firstly, great parking and check in process. I had seen some people complain car parking was limited, but during our weekend there was always enough parking, it is well lit with many security cameras. The room itself was quite disappointing for a Premier Inn standard. Relatively old and dated feel in the rooms, worn carpets and walls. Bit of a smell in the bathroom. We had prepaid for breakfast, which was a waste of time. Turns out they have had supplier issues for a number of weeks, so no continental breakfast available (just basic cereal). No breads, pastries, pancakes etc. There was also limited cooked food, some items missing. The cooked food there was available we were informed had come from another supplier and were indeed inferior quality. Would have had breakfast elsewhere had they bothered to tell us in advance, or at least during check in. Beds are as expected and comfy. Sound insulation at this hotel is not great, can hear in the rooms next door and out in the corridor.
