Manyatta Camp

Very very cozy and the location is so beautiful. I recommend this for those who wanted to go to honeymoon. The staff were so nice and friendly and polite. The only problem is for the WIFI which you can use it just in the restaurant and in the tent you don’t have any internet. But in general this cap is wonderful

Our 2 night stay was simply worth it. The camp is amazing, clean and well set up. The tents are very nice, comfortable and spacious, and what makes it amazing is the private swimming pool outside each tent overlooking the view of Tsavo East. We had lots of elephants and a few zebras pass going towards Voi Wildlife Lodge. The staff are so friendly and helpful, they greet you every morning and ask if you rested well at night. Carol at the reception was amazing, she took care of us and ensured we were comfortable. The security guard - Thomas took care of us well and he showed us a cheetah early in the morning that wasn't too far from our tent. We followed the cheetah all the way to Voi Willdife Lodge where it went to drink water. Later in the evening we saw a Lioness at Voi Wildlife Lodge which is a 10 minute walk from the camp. The food was amazing for both veg and non-veg - There's a good variety one can choose from. The dessert also is fresh and so delicious! The Staff at the dining area were so good and always asked us how our day went and if we saw any animals. I love this camp - it's just perfect. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely visit again and again!

Amazing place!!! Friendly staff from the moment you walk in! They care enough to notice you aren't at a meal and check if you're OK. The private pool behind each tent is too awesome with constant sighting of Elephants, giraffe, waterbuck and a couple of other grazers. Love this place

The review of this hotel is very divided. The pool was nice, and an extra plus for a small pool to each cabin. You really felt like you were in the middle of the jungle -both in a positive and in a negative way. The cabins didnt have air condition, but they had a fan, so the temperature was allright. The cabins were however not quite insect proof, and we had several unwanted visitors in our room, and I would never step on the floor without shoes as there were many ants on the floor. There was a large mosquitonet over the bed, so by tucking it neatly under the mattress, I managed to sleep quite well. Nice to be able to sit in the restaurant overlooking elephants and other animals from the national park near by. Dont expect luxury, but the food was good.

We stayed here for three nights. Our "tent" faced the park and we had lovely views of the animals on their way to the water hole at Voi Wildlife Lodge. The "tents" were not really tents but lodges with a tent roof. The layout of the bathroom was odd with a separate shower and toilet and a wash basin in the room. The bed was quite hard but the pillows were good. The pool on the tents patio was fantastic and it was great to cool off in there and watch the animals going by at the same time. There is a footpath from Manyatta to Voi WL so you can walk through and visit the waterhole there. The food was OK , perfectly edible and plenty of it. The staff were all lovely, especially the man at the bar whose name we unfortunately forget. He was very funny! The packed lunches we had were superb! The best we have had anywhere. We will definitely return here for our next Tsavo trip

First stop of three along our 2nd trip to Kenya with Spirit of Kenya…nice location 5-10 mins from main gate to Tsavo East. Hospitality was great, everyone had a snails on their face. Occupancy levels were low this time of year. Our bungalow was right in the third from the bar/restaurant which was nice. Amazing views— literally walked onto our back deck to see a family of elephants walking by. Pool was a nice feature to clean off after he safaris which can be dusty. We walked down to the abutting sister lodge and had dinner one night which was nice as well. At has seats20 feet from a watering hole that had elephants and other animals in droves all day and night. So amazing to just have a drink and watch them up close. Watering hole also had a hippo in it. Animal viewing was great in Tsavo East
