I have stayed at hotel Encore in from October 10th to October 14th, 2019. the hotel is located at Daba garden and the landmark is old pen school and is just opposite to the India sweets. The main advantage of this hotel is its location. When you just step aside from the gate of the hotel you will get auto-rickshaws, Buses by which can go everywhere of the entire City. It takes roughly 5 to 10 mins to go to either railway station or Ramkrishna beach by auto. There are ***y shops, shopping mall like CMR mall, South India mall etc. are around i.e it is a marketplace. So location wise it is very convenient. The front desk of the hotel is very helpful with always smiling face and very much co-operative. They gave a warm welcome to us when we have entered into the property as well as after that also. So I like to thank all the staff members of the Hotel through this review. I have stayed at Business Room with double occupancy, Room No, 303 & 307. The room size are so so. In response to some of the review, hotel ***agement said that the room size is larger than the standard room size. It may be true but if you want to live in little bit relaxed way with some extra leg space then this should not be your choice. Because the rooms are just fit for two persons. All the rooms are of not exactly equal size. As for example 307 is slightly larger than the 303. In 303 my parents were stayed. Since I am with my little child so possibly they allocate slightly larger 307 to me. So if you wish to have a bigger room & if your budget permits then take executive room. Rooms are clean, with basic amenities, 24 hour running hot and cold water. They are cleaned everyday. And since there is an elevator so no problem for the elderly persons. The property also have a underground parking lot. But what disappoints me, is their restaurant. Though all the person at the restaurant are well behaved but it is not properly functioning. Though at the menu card there are ***y items but you get only very few. Even sometimes they cancel order after taking it and requested to change the menu for non availability of the particular item. But there are some good hotel around. So we have nothing to do but to take either lunch or dinner at the other places in some occasions. But it may not be possible for all with a big family specially with childrens. So be careful about that. So considering all the facts it is a good hotel to stay at vizag with slightly small room (according to me) (when Business Room with double occupancy is booked) for a family with poor restaurant service.

We visited on 19 May. A family of four and a child. We went to the restaurant on 2nd floor. We were given a really wonderful treatment. Please read as sarcasm. There was one Manager and two busboys. Everyone was dressed in a suit so I really didn't who was actually serving. We stood there for few minutes and I was confused whether I should stay or leave. My little one was eagerly watching and one of the staff almost pushed her. Can't understand how a cute kid is invisible. I can understand *busy days* at restaurants, but I have never been treated so miserably at a place which is supposedly one of repute, at least by its appearance, aspiration or promise. They could have directed us to wait in the lobby, given a bit of respect to at least the 70 year old father or bit of courtesy to the ladies or at least an ounce of care for the three year child. But no. Their faces, their rush, their deliberate ignoring of us, all of it seemed like hoping we will vanish. We did vanish anyway. We left since we had never been treated like that at any hotel in my 43 years of life. At the lobby reception I left some feedback. The person gave me the same sullen look as if saying, ”Can't you see we are busy?” He took up the landline, pretending to do something, but there was no sorry or please wait or anything at all. In fact, he eyed, stared at, us all the way till we left the premises. I'm not even sure why. That last act was rather eerie. I mean, you're busy, you're discourteous, you're unable to apologize, but why throw me look till I left, as if intimidating me and my family. They, believe me, need a LOT OF TRAINING in handling customers on a busy day. Or any other day. You can burn money behind a hotel but you can't exhibit finesse. That one comes from what MasterCard Ad says about ”things money can't buy”. They try to show themselves sophisticated, but in the end, you'd be better treated if you went to a Dhaba. I can write pages but will stop here. Writing even this much, for these guys, has been a waste of precious time. Because I'm pretty sure, they won't learn from feedback. People who ignore a three year old child and can't offer her a place to even sit, are unfit to govern anything. They cannot improve. We are never visiting this place again and my advise to everyone is also not do. Fake people, fake hospitality. All pretence. Put them under stress and the real talent, or the lack of it, falls out of the closet, like a hidden skeleton.

The restaurant is not bad. Dinner buffet has turkey and roast suckling pig. Breakfast is Indian but there are many types. The view of the room from the sea side is very good, and the transportation is convenient. Is occasionally encountered a lot of people at the wedding.

I came for a lunch and for viewing of this property but at the entrance one of the gurard has stopped us by taking the pics the girl from reception Anjana helped us and briefed about the property and explained us very well thanks anjana for your help and more over the property was excellent the view it can attract everyone and nice maintenance and the food was delicious chefs handsoff
