Böden Hotel & Spa by Aken Soul

Excellent place! Everything according to expectations. Fantastic facilities (outdoor pools, heated and regular; spa with heated inside pool; padel courts, restaurant), amazing location and views, very flexible and positive staff.

When you arrive at the Boden you are immediately struck by the beautiful design. Crafted wood, stonework and flowing shapes abound. Staff is very friendly and clearly tries hard to be attentive. Initially, your impression is that this will be a wonderful stay. Pretty soon you realize time was spent on design and engineering, as well as staff selection.......at the expense of comfort. It begins when you sit in any of the chairs or sofas in the lobby. They were not designed for humans with normal length legs (maybe if you were a very tall basketball player they might work). The real discomfort comes when you try and sleep. when I called the front desk to ask how to adjust room temperature (the thermostat did not appear to work), we were informed we could not control temperature in room as they had central heating. If the room was too hot, we had to open the sliding door, but that posed a different issue. you had to close the blackout curtains because the porch light could not be turned off as they were controlled by sundown and sunrise. So, no outside air could adequately flow in to cool the room. Add sheets with a high synthetic content and sleeping is actually uncomfortable. There were plenty of other little things which suggest those choosing equipment and fixtures did not bother to actually try them. Why would anyone spend time designing something beautiful that does not serve the guests well? The staff is not responsible for this experience, nor can they make these things better. It's a shame!

Tiene todos los ammenities necesarios para que no te muevas del hotel. El restaurante es excelente, con una amplia variedad en su carta; el desayuno muy completo, room service excelente. Opciones veganas, vegetarianas y sin tacc. En cuanto la ubicación, super facil de acceder al hotel y con muy buenas rutas. A 5 minutos en auto del vibrante centro de Villa General Belgrano, y aún así el hotel parece estar en el medio de la nada misma. Rodeado de montañas, arboles, animales, vista espectacular al atardecer. Servicio y atención del personal excelente. El servicio de spa y masajes excelentes. Muy buen wifi. En fin, hotel perfecto ya sea para un fin de semana o para 2 semanas completas. Recomiendo y volveré.
