I was here for only one night as I had to do a visa run. The date was 9/1/2019. First when I arrived at the hotel the power was out. The hotel did not have a back up generator. Once the power was back on. I was allowed to Check in. That was about 3 pm. Upon checking in I was informed that the credit card machine was not working and that I had to pay cash. I informed the front desk clerk that I only had Thai Baht . I was informed that he did not know the exchange rate so he might not be able to exchange for me. I went online and was able to share the rate with him, which allowed him to make the conversion and give me change in KIP. I checked the room and was unpleasantly surprised. There was a hole in the left hand corner of the bedroom that looked like a mouse hole. I wondered all thur the night if a mouse would drop down that hole. The furniture was old and had puncture hole in them. The bathroom which had a tub, however no stopper. There was black Mold in the ceiling and no toilet paper holder. The next morning I went proceeded to go to breakfast and was informed that the free breakfast was on the 5th floor. I checked the elevator there is no 5th floor. Oh! I had to take the elevator to the 4th floor and walk up to the fifth floor. I am wondering how do they accommodate the handicapped. The buffet breakfast was cold. The fruit dishes on the buffet included ants on the plates. This is a step too far. This accommodation was not worth the $48.00 US. Please stay away from this dated facility.

The hotel is in the most prosperous part of Vientiane. It is only a few minutes walk to the Meigong River, and it is also close to the Arc de Triomphe. It is very quiet on a secluded road. There are fried rice, fried noodles, and meat porridge. The only inconvenience is that there is no flushing service. There is no shelf in the bathroom, and dental appliances and toiletries are not available. Hope to improve.

We stayed here for 5 nights towards the end of a 3 month trip to various countries in SE Asia. It’s a lovely hotel and the room we had was very spacious, nice sitting area with a sofa and extremely clean. The hotel is ideally situated for restaurants and some of the main Wats etc. The staff were very helpful, efficient and friendly. Breakfast, served in the hotel’s cafe downstairs was great with about 7 various sets to choose from, excellent coffee and lovely bread. We also ate lunch at the cafe twice and the food was really good - fruit shakes are delicious - and extremely reasonably priced. 3 days in Vientiane would have sufficed but having such a lovely hotel helped. Highly recommend. Be aware there’s no lift and quite a few flights of stairs to get to bedrooms. It didn’t bother us but may be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues.

The hotel has just opened, the location is better, the surrounding is quieter, it is suitable for lazy sleep, the front desk service is good, the Chinese and English communication is completely stress-free, the room is very large, I heard that it is one room and one hall, which is the largest in Vientiane. The young lady at the front desk helped to upgrade the lake view room for free. You can see the Taluang Lake not far from the room. The breakfast is also good. It ends at ten o'clock. It is suitable for people like me who can walk freely. The hotel also has a swimming pool. Spa and gym, the night view of the swimming pool is very good, the spa is also super cheap, it is recommended
