Our Duschel apartment was located at Tegetthoffstrasse 3, 1010 Vienna. We were not given this address until after booking. We thought we were staying across from the opera house but it was still in a fantastic spot. Positives: It was a fantastic location- a short walk to Stephenplatz and many other tourist locations. The area of town was very clean and safe and we felt very comfortable. The apartment we stayed in had one bedroom with a king and one bedroom with a twin, queen and crib. All four of our kids slept in that room comfortably (we put the crib mattress on the floor for our 2 year old) so we did not use the queen sofa bed. The kitchen and laundry room had everything we needed. Laundry soap, dish soap, paper towels ect were all provided. (no dryer which we expected but there was a drying rack and iron) The apartment was very clean, although the walls could’ve used a fresh coat of paint. The apartment building itself was gorgeous and was surrounded by beautiful apartment buildings. AC worked great and the beds were comfortable. Check in and out was easy! Negatives: There was construction going on in the alley way looking out from the living room window but the view of the city from the top floor was so beautiful it did not bother us. The construction didn’t create much noise and started and ended at decent hours of the day so it was not and issue. Getting in to the apartment was a bit tricky with three large bags and four small children- there were several layers of doors, elevators and hallways and the key lock to the apartment itself was a bit tricky- something to keep in mind if you are traveling with elderly family members- we were all a bit breathless by the time we made it inside. The bathrooms were updated and beautiful but the sink was a very long trough like sink so there was no where to put your make up or hair tools without them getting wet.
