Victoria Falls Backpackers Lodge

I really enjoyed my stay at the Backpackers Lodge. I really felt at home. The place is just beautiful and accommodating. The whole staff just seems to be nice and friendly. I mostly enjoyed the pool area and the lounge as well where anyone can just turn on the TV and watch whatever they want on DStv. Lastly, I enjoyed the food as well. It was nice.

Everything was Superb we really enjoyed our stay. A good workable distance from town, peaceful place, privacy great atmosphere. Just that mosquitos were everywhere in the room but everything else was Great 🙏🏽☺️👍

Room was Ok . Durinc a night WE have an African guests who check in AT 2 am .we woke us UP,made a lot of noise ,staff who was on duty should informed these guests ,very stange that no one informés the guests to b more quieter !! You should provide a bigger microwawe ,the plate in the kitchen do not enter your microwave , so WE ONLY enjoy , cycling , and the possiblity to have breakfast !! You have to teach your staff who was on duty during night shift

There is a lotto like about Victoria Falls Backpackers Lodge. A variety of accommodation options, a good price, a pool, good wifi, etc. I thought it was fine. I'm not sure if I would stay there again. I might, but I didn't love it. Like most of the accommodations in Victoria Falls, it is a good walk from the centre; fro places to buy food and water. That means that you need to arrange a driver. You can walk, but in the day it is so hot and at night, it's very dark and no so safe - not because of violence or crime, but because of animals. I encountered elegance and warthogs on the road walking back. There is a driver for the hostel, but he is not necessarily there. He maybe out and in evenings and early mornings there was no one at reception to help call a driver. So I felt a little isolated. My room (private room, shared bath, no AC) was fine, but I understood there would be a fan. One appeared half way through my stay, but without it, it was not very comfortable. The wifi was excellent (I had to do work while I was there and it worked well), the pool and outdoor areas were nice. It was clean and felt safe an secure. The kitchen was handy for making coffee, and it was a nice atmosphere. I think it is a good place, I just would have been happier to be a little closer to the centre, which is not a failing of the hostel, just my personal impression.

Liked the typical colonial style camping atmosphere. The staff were attentive as possible and always helpful, polite and friendly, particularly the manager & chef.

The staff is genuine to help in arranging transportation to cross border to Kasane, Botswana. There was transportation from the lodge to the border but the service did not fully meet our needs. The staff called very good taxi driver for us. We are truly thankful to the staff at reception.

Excellent Service and great value! This lodge is very safe and perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday break! All the facilities are at your disposal and staff are very friendly and helpful! We will definitely arrange a group of families holiday at this lodge. Victoria Falls is HOT and lots of Mosquitos at night !!!

It was awesome. They are doing a great job, from Enochs pick up at the airport, smiling and on time, to Blessing and Olli's continued help and professionalism at the front desk. Also the staff do a fantastic job keeping the place sparkling clean which can be hard to do in a hostel! We were very happy there and can recommend it wholeheartedly!

Good homely environment, but electricity problem on that day and hence there was no wifi. Swimming pool was small and not well managed. No food arrangement on payment, but there was a good number of visitors. Overall value for money though there were few challenges.
