Nothing major wrong with the place. Large, a bit dated and dark, not as nice as the pictures but no big problems. Good heat and hot water. Quiet neighborhood.
Big issue was the gate in front has a key pad or electronic card to get in. They didn’t give us a code, only an electronic fob to wave in front to unlock. Several times coming home it didn’t work and we couldn’t get into the building. The office is there but after initial Check-In we never saw anyone staffing the office. We tried knocking and calling both numbers posted but no one ever picked up, so we were stuck. Thankfully someone else was coming home and let us in.
However the last night it was very cold and we were stuck for over an hour outside. They didn’t answer the phone, we texted ******* and they tried to contact the host with no response. Finally ******* said we should find somewhere to stay for the night, even though our luggage was stuck inside the place. ******* said they wanted to request a refund from the host for the last night in our behalf, but also said the host would not likely ever respond or repay anything, and they were right. Finally the host answered a message through the ******* app with a code number to get in, no explanation or apology.
Overall, not a terrible apartment, we wouldn’t stay again. It’s uncomfortable to walk around the city knowing that when you get home you might not be able to get in, no one is in the office or answers the phone.
