We are a couple in their 30s, the location is excellent with a view of St Marks Cathedral and the Bell Tower; it was so central to everything and easy to go back and change or rest between tours (I uploaded a picture from our window). The front desk was not very helpful or friendly compared to other hotels and experiences in Venice. Also, the breakfast offered was really limited only very running scrambled bacon and very over cooked eggs were the hot foods offered. I wouldn’t pay more than $210-$220 a night for this hotel.

Une vue extraordinaire depuis la chambre. La chambre est très confortable, très bien insonorisée. Nous n'entendions pas la foule sur la place st marc. La vue depuis le petit balcon est exceptionnelle, directement sur la basilique. Le petit déjeuner se prend dans un autre établissement situe a 2 mn a pieds. C'est super de balader dans la ville qui n'est pas encore envahie. Le petit déjeuner se prend au bord du canal ou les gondoles passent. Le personnel est très agréable et serviable. Bref nous y retournerions volontiers. Un sejour au coeur de venise est idyllique

L’hôtel est très bien situé , à deux pas de la place saint marc. Le personnel est très accueillant , les chambres sont spacieuses et très confortables. Très bon hôtel pour un court séjour en plein cœur de Venise. Le petit déjeuner est servi dans un autre établissement mais très bon

Top Unterkunft an bester Lage und sehr persönlichem Service. Aussicht auf den Markusplatz (siehe Bild)! Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen und können diesen Ort nur empfehlen. Man schläft dank guter Schallisolierung wie auf Federn und die Unterkunft mit zwei Schlafzimmern, zwei Bädern, Sauna, Wohnzimmer und Kochnische lässt keine Wünsche offen. Man muss es einfach selbst erlebt haben…😁👍

I loved absolutely everything about this hotel. The check-in was quick and easy, the staff extremely professional and friendly, the location is nothing short of perfect, the room was stunningly beautiful, clean and comfortable and the view...!!!
It would be nice to have a kettle in the room to have a hot drink in the morning or the evening, but that's not a big deal.
The breakfast (which is actually served in a sister hotel a couple of minutes away - perhaps because I visited in winter?) offers a great and tasty selection.
I guess that in summer when Venice is busier, if there are people hanging out on San Marco square late at night it might get a tad noisy but unless you're a very light sleeper I can't imagine it being a big problem.
Overall, this is a gem and there is no doubt whatsoever that the next time I'm Venice I will stay there again.

This hotel is a hidden gem in the center of Piazza San Marco. Tall ceilings, dark carved wood throughout the room, heavy drapes color coordinating the wallpaper. The bathroom was very spacious, water pressure in the shower was excellent and AC worked flawlessly. The decor- from the elegant chandeliers to the wood floors and bed frame- It has the venetian old style I was looking for and it is incredibly quiet for the location. We had 2 windows facing the Piazza and never were disturbed after 2100. The windows open fully to a narrow balcony yards away from the Basilica. Staff was friendly, multilingual and accommodating. Excellent hotel!
