"I really liked it, the room was clean, cleaned every day, the room is dark, which can be an advantage or a disadvantage, breakfasts are good, you have to order what to take care of and the quantity, but for me it was sufficient, the service was very nice, helpful. The neighborhood is quiet, there are shops and bars, unfortunately in bars you pay in cash. The beach is close, you can get to the center by bus almost from the hotel about 20-30 minutes. To the airport about 50 minutes with 1 change in the center."

"I chose this hotel to spend 1 May and Easter Holiday for this year. Location: The location of the hotel is good, is not far from the small city center, there is an ATM next to the hotel. Parking: In front of the hotel there is a parking space for maximum 10-15 cars. We paid around 10 leva/day. Is good to park near the hotel, we saw some cameras next by because the parking is not guarded. If you do not find space near the hotel, they will redirect you to another parking with whom the hotel has agreement. Room: We got room 207, on the same floor with the restaurant. First I was upset, thinking that the smell will come into the room but no, it was ok. The room was amazing, front sea view, 2 balconies. It is amazing to sleep in the night and to hear the sound of the waves. The room is big enough, equipped with everything, even bathrobe. Cleaning: On this chapter, the hotel is not so well. I was disappointed about the cleaning, when we entered the room it was not very well cleaned, there were stains on the wall, on the carpet. During our stay we did not let the housekeeping too often to come into our room. Beach: The beach is large, is amazing, clean but with small stones. In some parts of the sea the entrance is deep, in other is ok. The staff should step in when they see the clients bring on the beach portable speaker and put lowed bad quality music! It was disturbing for us and we needed to take our things and move to another part just not to hear that music! The restaurant, bars & food The restaurant in the first days, when the hotel was not crowd the food was at a very high quality. Not so many choices but tasty. After 3-4 May, when the hotel stared to be full, the option for the food became larger but lower quality. The beach bar offers just French fries and some meatballs. The ice cream was very good. The only bar that serves alcoholic drinks is the lobby bar, even if they sell as Ultra All Inclusive, most of the drinks are local ones. Only some gin is international brand, beside this, Bulgarian drinks. The bartender is not making cocktails, he gives you the alcohol in a glass and you need to go and add juice and make yourself a cocktail. This is the first time when I experience this. For the Easter Celebration I expected more, on the Easter night in the reception there were eggs and sweet bread but for the lunch or dinner nothing special. Swimming pool & Spa In the rainy days the indoor pool was so crowded, they said is with mineral water but I doubt that, I smelled a lot of chlorine. We enjoyed the sauna. Overall, I can recommend this hotel because of its position, right on the beach. The view from the room and the balcony was amazing."

"Eu já estive aqui antes e tive um excelente tempo, então decidi voltar.Embora eu estivesse sozinha, não me sentia sozinha, todos estavam muito bem-vindos e sempre tive alguém com quem posso conversar. Eu usei o almoço completo para o pequeno-almoço e o jantar é absolutamente excelente.Você Pode também ter vinho Branco ou rosado ou dois tipos diferentes de cerveja que faz parte do almoço completo.Toda a equipe é Muito feliz e útil. Posso dizer sinceramente que esta é uma das melhores experiências que tive na costa búlgara, com piscina de água mineral fora e spa interior, que é também fantástico. "My wife and I stayed at this hotel. We're both over 55 and wanted a relaxing holiday with good food and service. We basically got what we expected. We stayed on the 10th floor with a sea view. The room was cozy, spacious, and conducive to relaxation. The room had standard amenities, and everything worked. The elevators (there are two) sometimes break down, but they always try to fix them quickly. During our stay, one elevator broke down twice in one day. This was mainly due to children riding them without parental supervision and simply playing around for fun. The junior staff consists mainly of Filipinos who speak English but don't understand Russian at all. This isn't their problem; if you want communication skills, learn languages. They are managed by Bulgarian staff (Russian is generally understood well here), and I must say they've done a good job. The staff is polite, friendly, and does their job well. I'd like to give a special thank you to Emily, the maid; the room was cleaned every day. Jane, the bartender, was also responsive and could lift your spirits, which can't be said for Tony. I've seen glowing reviews about him, but apparently that wasn't the case here. He used to work at the Elpida Hotel, and I never noticed any negative behavior from him there. Here, however, he was downright rude. A little about the food. The dishes are basically the same as in other Golden Sands hotels of the same standard. You definitely won't go hungry; there's plenty of variety, but often the flavor is lacking. It's a pure assembly line of food preparation. The same goes for the alcohol. The hotel generally didn't disappoint. For those looking for a relaxing holiday, the all-inclusive option is perfect."

"We stayed here at the end of September for 5 nights. The hotel was quiet due to it being the end of their season which meant a lot of the local shops, bars and restaurants has closed (no fault of the hotel, we didn’t do our research and assumed the season would continue into October - something to be mindful of if you’re booking in 2024). The food and spa were the highlights of our holiday. The spa staff were super friendly and helpful and we made sure to make use of the facilities and treatments on offer. Would recommend the Turkish bath, it was incredible! The price of the treatments were so cheap compared to the U.K. you can pay cash or card which is handy too. The food was so flavoursome and we had something different each night. If you’re a fussy eater or expecting 20+ difference choices this isn’t the place for you. There was enough choices but each dish was delicious and the cakes were little mouthfuls of heaven. Overall the hotel was very modern and clean and is in a great location to walk to the beach. Even with it being quiet we felt extremely safe strolling around. Down by the beachfront there are some lovely shops and bars, it’s a lovely easy stroll. We took the 409 bus into Varna (approx 45 mins journey) and hired electric scooters to explore. We’d recommend wandering the garden, it’s beautiful and lots for kids to do. The staff were generally very helpful, a big shout out to Vanka (I hope that’s how you spell it) on reception who was extremely helpful in trying to sort an issue with our transfer back to the airport. Only negative experienced were the cleaners were slightly rude and staff weren’t always at the bar around the pool, we imagine this was down to it being out of season. We would definitely return to the hotel and make the most of the spa and facilities again next year. "

"I'm very disappointed..we had a ultra all inclusive plus booked from.march and it was around 1300 euros ( without transportation and parking). The food was a disaster,there was Italian night and was no Italian food but in general it was the same food the whole 7 days, very very disappointed..the bar was also a mess..the cocktail came from a machine there was no actual bartender to make the cocktails..same with sodas and from dispenser which was not mention..the beach bar was basically a simple soda machine with cups and that was it.. Private beach was decent ,same as the sun beds.. The room was actually very good and clean,I was surprised and unfortunately it was the highlight of our holiday. The gym is like a dungeon,no equipment and everything is already broke or about to break ( it was a reason why we chosed this hotel) For the amount that we paid food and drinks was low quality and they take top dollar for that which is not ok. All and all it was a bad holiday and for sure I will never return to this hotel ever..the staff was very friendly ."

"It all started with the check-in...we arrived with a small child of 5 months...we were checked into a room with a terrible smell (musty) and as a result we found mold and mildew on the wall....Room 611! First we turned to the guide at the hotel Irina Bykovskaya, she told us (what do you want, this is a hotel..) then we turned to the administrator, he told us that there were no available rooms... in the end, through the hotel manager, we were immediately resettled. The food is terrible for a two-week stay, chicken, pork and fried herring, all green fruit, no children's table, although there are a couple of pieces of pizza, liver and French fries (is this a children's table?) there is no children's food, the first courses are bagged soup, for 2 weeks there was one with pork!! dirty tablecloths... if you want to drink tea, you will not find boiling water, only warm water... and if there is boiling water, then one or two mugs to the left and that's it... 2 people got poisoned in front of us and also my husband. The eggs in the omelet are not fried enough in it, the shells are in it... food per unit. The beach is a separate story... we have been to many places but Bulgaria amazed us... if you like to swim in small waves then here the lifeguards (maleba) will not let you, they will throw you out of the water, in two weeks we swam 4 times... everything is paid everywhere all the beaches an umbrella, a sunbed and a mattress on it will cost you 22 leva or 600 rubles.. and where there are no sunbeds there is nowhere to fall and everything is packed. Our maid also surprised us today. .. our child pooped a little on the sheet, we washed it off, but there were yellow marks left, we folded it up for us to change... as a result we come after breakfast, and in our sink lies a corner of this dirty sheet with a hint to wash it yourself. AND THIS IS 4 STARS!!!!! and cockroaches are crawling on the stairs!"
