Hotel Indigo Vancouver Dwtn – Portland Area

This is a great property: The only downside was room service was very difficult. No one in the restaurants answered the phone to even take a carry out order. Sucks because they have great restaurants there.

Property was booked to pay on arrival but the property changed my card over the amount before we even arrived. They did credit ba k my account but that took 3 business days because it was on a weekend so very inconvenient

I booked this hotel for my wife and I for a miniature getaway. We don't do this very often, so I opted for a nicer hotel in the newer Waterfront area with lots of dining options. When we arrived, we realized there was no onsite parking; we had to choose between paying $45 (not including tip) for overnight valet or parking on the street. We chose the street but there were no options all that close, so we had to walk 2-3 blocks with our stuff in the pouring rain. Once we got inside, the male staff member was adequate. He did his job and was fine without being overly friendly or talkative. The room was nice and spacious but we quickly realized it lacked some of the basic amenities you'd expect from a hotel: sufficient wall outlets, no paper/pen, and a terrible shower. It had an above head rain shower head with low water pressure, and no barrier separating the shower from the rest of the bathroom except for the shower curtain. After I finished and opened the curtain, I saw water all over the floor. It took 3 towels to sop it up. On top of all this, the room was noisy. They actually left earplugs for us with a note that referenced the noise from the street. There was no noise outside, but quite a bit above us. We were on the 8th floor and I thought it was the top floor, so I don't know what was going on up there. The décor and room was nice but it was nowhere near worth the cost.

Very nice hotel. Very nice stay. Parking is limited. Valet expensive, but that was expected for this area.

Our stay was short but sweet. The building and room was excellent and comfortable for everyone, and we loved the dinning options we had because as busy travelers we didn’t want to spend time driving around looking for a place to eat. It was a wonderful experience. I’d be happy to stay here again sometime in the future.

The mini fridge didn’t work so I couldn’t take leftovers from restaurants. I got a random call early in the morning waking me up and there was an unadvertised “destination fee” that nobody explained

Wonderful hotel & staff, nice environment & restaurants Absolutely no cell signal over 2 night stay with our AT&T. No convenient store nor gift shop within the area

Wonderful stay! Staff was great! The room was beautiful and clean. We will stay here again for sure!

Hotel is clean and modern (and smells really good). Great dining options are within walking distance.
